What can I say, the history of the Ceja family is so colorful and amazing that that alone should be enough to stop by and learn of. Oh yeah, their amazing Pinot Noir is also a good reason to stop by .
I fell in love with Ceja wines, but mostly the hospitality, staff, and family on my first visit to Napa years ago. Originally I visited their Napa tasting room location where I learned all about Ceja from their amazing staff. I was treated so warmly, as if I had been known for years. The history of the Ceja family was rich and it was a pleasure to be somewhat part of it just by partaking in their delicious offerings.
They are best know for their Pinot Noir's, which are delectable! Unlike other wineries that I have been too, Ceja tends to offer some sweet parings with their tastings, like a chocolate pairing which was an awesome twist; however not sure if they still offer this or not.
The only bummer is that they are not open during the week, which sucks, only F-Su.
I continue to be a Ceja fan, and make sure that when I have guests and in Napa we make sure to make a stop and visit Ceja!
Vinum (wine), Cantus (song), Amor (love)! Is there anything else?
