Came for the wine tasting and had an absolutely lovely time. Wine was delicious and the vibes were immaculate. Would highly recommend!

Google
An awesome little winery, family owned, with a wonderful story behind it. The wine selection is great and the hosts are wonderful and knowledgeable. Social distance is respected and the servers wear masks. Outdoor venue is relaxing and comfortable.

Mark McQueen

Google
Apparently family owned and operated winery and it showed in how we were treated here when we showed up to try their wines. The tasting staff was friendly and helpful, and even took the time to educate us on what to be aware of when tasting wine. Decent wines, but being a beer drinker the real treat was the brewery that was right next store. The location of Ceja made it feel more like a rest stop with a winery, than a winery. That said, the location on the Carneros highway as you head back to the Bay Area makes it a great place to visit for those who want to give one more vineyard a try on the way back home.

Google
Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. Superb wine - the cab-sav was excellent. If they have a dessert wine, definitely worth trying.

Google
Wow, what a great find! We visited Ceja through Sonoma Bike Tours- and we had a fantastic time. My party is well versed in wine and well travelled- and we were impressed with our Ceja experience! The wine (especially the Chardonnay, red blend, and dessert wine) was consistently great. I highly recommend doing the wine tasting. Don’t miss out about learning about the family story, too!

Google
Had a great time at Ceja. We were members before and have always like their wine. Decided to join again, based on the positive experience we had. Looking forward to the event next month.

Samara Trilling

Google
Wonderful family owned winery with fantastic Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet, blends and a truly special late harvest dessert wine. Ariel, Navek, Pedro, Delia and Amelia are such great welcoming and knowledgeable winemakers. Their wine club is also awesome.

Google
It pains me to write this great customer service but just plain terrible wine imho. Keep in mind I'm not a fancy wine snob but the nose and the taste of the wine lacked refinement and taste of alcohol overpowered everything. On a brighter note the grounds shared with the brewery / vodka distillery in the back are nice and they have a nice picnic area surrounded by olive trees. Ceja better luck next year on your harvest! btw tastings are 20$ for some meager pours!

Yelp
Our experience at Ceja Vineyards Wine Salon was WONDERFUL! My husband and I scheduled a tasting via email and requested it to be lead all in Spanish. We had no idea what to expect, but were happily surprised. They made us feel right at home upon arrival even though we were late to our scheduled tasting due to my mix up. Ariel and Sra. Amelia were just absolutely incredible hosts with us. Mrs. Amelia, you are truly a gem and we were very fortunate to have met such a brilliant woman as you. Thank you for your willingness to share historical details about local areas, wine, and more. My husband and I felt so fortunate to have had this priceless experience, it really made our first visit to Napa/Sonoma memorable. We loved their wines and ended up purchasing three bottles and signing up for their club membership. I'd like to point out that at the moment we are not members at any other wine club and honestly couldn't pass this up. We recommend a visit and we will be back very soon.

Yelp
My sister-in-law took me and my husband there for the first time with her husband really liked it. Nice atmosphere, and good people enjoyed every minute. Will be going back soon.

Yelp
Very friendly people here at Ceja Vineyard. The outdoor patio was very inviting. We enjoyed wine tasting in the gorgeous place.

Yelp
Had the pleasure to try their wine while on vacation. Ariel was simply great to chat with and get to know a bit about their wine and their background. Mexican roots from Jalisco and Michoacán. Tried a few of their wines and fell in love with their Pinot Noir, absolutely delicious, I would recommend to have their Dulce Beso, it is such a nice night cap.

Yelp
Extraordinary story. Ariel is an amazing ambassador of the family, wines and story. We loved the Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Late Harvest special wine. Yes, we will return!

Yelp
5 Stars all around. Came here because I love supporting a Latino owned business, Viva mi Raza. Was not disappointed. Was greeted by our wine sommelier, he was super attentive and very knowledgeable and great at recommendations for food pairing. Location: 5 stars. Sonoma and easy to find. Ambiance: 5 stars. The weather was great for a November weekend, around 68 degrees, slight over cast but cleared up by 1pm. Outdoors, nice patio, plenty of seats and shade. Service: 100 STARS. Amazing customer service and attentiveness. Great to see Latinos being successful. Reasonably priced and the wine is GREAT. My personal favorites were the Reserva Chardonnay, Carnero Pinot Noir and the Desert wine Dulce Beso.

Yelp
Lovely Saturday afternoon spent unhurried and relaxed with our pourer Ariel. Ample pours, welcoming and a great sense of humor-he is an asset to the family business. Went home with three 6 bottles of red wines, 3 blends and 3 cabs. We will certainly be back. * to the young and inexperienced, no, your tasting fee often will not be waived if you don't purchase the stated minimum. I'm so glad wineries started charging in the late 80's for tasting experiences. It keeps the " pounders " and riff-raff away. There are plenty of bars in Sonoma and Napa if you're looking to drink large quantities for a small expense.

Yelp
What a wonderful experience. Some of the best wines of the last two days. We had appointments at all the heavy hitters in Napa in two days. Fortunately, we had an appointment at at the end of the day. Traffic down Napa and along the 12 was bad. We called and they were going to be available 30 min late. We met Arial at the front bar. I could not ask for anyone better to give use a wine experience with Ceja. He was the most attentive and informative, but in a Disney fashion. We laughed while learning, drinking and exchanging stories. The wine was exceptional. Best wine and wine experience of the weekend. Hands down a homerun. The backstory with the knowledge of wine and wine growing was the best I have had in 35 years.

Yelp
I love family run businesses especially family run vineyards. The tasting room experience is fantastic. The peeps that work there ensure that you learn everything about the business, the wine, and the family history. It almost feels personalized because the area is quite small. As far as the tastings, they didn't satisfy my palate although my friends did enjoy many of the reds. To each their own.

Yelp
Beautiful and welcoming wine experience. The main Ceja digs are down the road - this is "just" a wine tasting bar, outdoor patio, wine experience venue. The Cejas are excellent hosts. They know their wines forward and backward and can put their various vintages into perspective both compared to their own products and other wineries. They're fine with you bringing food for a picnic and that's exactly what we did. Their tasting comprises 5 wines, each quite excellent and a generous pour of each. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Lovely wines with a lovely family with a lovely story! Highly recommend driving out to ceja and trying their rose! Had to buy a bottle in order to enjoy it at home. Highly recommend doing a tasting. Our host Ariel was knowledgeable and spent a great deal of time with every table! Recommend when you're near Sonoma Napa

Yelp
My wife and I have been to Ceja's tasting room which is open Friday through Sunday. The wine tasting room has a beautiful outdoor courtyard while the tasting room is smaller but intimate. For you beer drinkers behind the tasting room is a huge brewery and from what I hear from beer drinkers they are making some great beer! Back to the wine... Whoever hirers people at this place does an amazing job. They have great people and they really let you try everything they can. It is not pretentious and is a fun vibe. Plus for my wife and I we love their wine. We have tasted their wine and shipped it home and it is just as good in the tasting as it is at home!!! Go to Ceja. Have fun. Drink wine and Enjoy LIfe!!!

Yelp
If you're looking for a reasonably priced wine tasting experience from a knowledgeable staff that doesn't take themselves too seriously, check out Ceja Vineyards! Great service with a staff that was eager to answer our questions and didn't turn their noses up at our lack of wine tasting experience. Would definitely return to this immigrant owned winery! And I loved that they were able to fit us in without a reservation. It looks like they also allow outside food too which is nice. We ended up leaving with a few bottles.
google avatar

Guisela L.

Yelp
Outstanding service. They give you a wine lesson and history of their family vineyard all the way through the tasting. The bottles are all reasonable. Come here to sit and enjoy and have a wonderful time! Feel good knowing that this is a locally family owned vineyard. It isn't the biggest tasting room but they do have seating outside as well if you have a really large party. Recommended!

Yelp
The wines were pretty good but the hospitality was spectacular. The tasting room had a great vibe. It was friendly and they certainly are rightfully proud of their story and they tell it well. They are the kind of people that you hope do really well which is a nice way to feel when walking out of any business.

Yelp
What can I say, the history of the Ceja family is so colorful and amazing that that alone should be enough to stop by and learn of. Oh yeah, their amazing Pinot Noir is also a good reason to stop by . I fell in love with Ceja wines, but mostly the hospitality, staff, and family on my first visit to Napa years ago. Originally I visited their Napa tasting room location where I learned all about Ceja from their amazing staff. I was treated so warmly, as if I had been known for years. The history of the Ceja family was rich and it was a pleasure to be somewhat part of it just by partaking in their delicious offerings. They are best know for their Pinot Noir's, which are delectable! Unlike other wineries that I have been too, Ceja tends to offer some sweet parings with their tastings, like a chocolate pairing which was an awesome twist; however not sure if they still offer this or not. The only bummer is that they are not open during the week, which sucks, only F-Su. I continue to be a Ceja fan, and make sure that when I have guests and in Napa we make sure to make a stop and visit Ceja! Vinum (wine), Cantus (song), Amor (love)! Is there anything else?

Yelp
Ceja Vinyards is a great visit. We visited there in May 2018. While the smell of manure was strong in the area. The employees knew a great deal of the products, family, and were quite generous too.

Yelp
We decided to stop here based on reviews and fell in love. We absolutely loved the fact that it was a family owned business and our host Ariel was wonderful giving us he family history and serving us their fine wines. We shipped a half case home! I am not a fan of big crowded wineries and this was perfect for us.

Yelp
How do you start a Winery review when there's so many good things to say about so many wonderful products. The best thing I can say about the wine if they stay true to themselves and try and make a wine it totally reaches everyone. Not too tannic not too acidic rich fruit-forward flavors and pleasing for all types of occasions. They've even stepped out of the comfort zone and are now producing late Harvest and fortified wines. How nice is that. The whole operation is family-run and this time for the wine tasting room I met Navic. Very bright and will inform all on the qualities and profiles of the wines that he was serving very articulate to the people that he was serving and it was incredible to listen to the story of his family about his grandfather's working hard their entire life and bringing this business to where it is today. Very impressive both of the guys that work in The Tasting Room extremely helpful and considerate. Alright. Stop and it's right next door to the brewery where I'm sitting right now. Double your pleasure double your fun.

Yelp
Cannot stress enough how wonderful my experience was here at Ceja Vineyards Ariel was the most friendly kindest funny host I've ever had at winery, they treat you like family The story of their humble beginning is amazing and the wines are exquisite my favorite one was the Pinot Noir from the Carneros region I really enjoyed all the wines the dulce beso desert one was to die for I liked it so much that I became a member I would definitely recommend this place it's small cozy and family owned and operated
google avatar

Yelp
If you want to go to a vineyard with a relaxing, non pretension, down to earth and excellent wines this is your place! Without going into the weeds about their wines, they easily pair with everyday dishes, reasonably priced and great for everyday occasions. This is your place - stop reading and go visit!

Empress G.

Yelp
The winery was beautiful. The education and history behind the winery was interesting and informative. The wine choices were were amazing. Definitely a little bit of everything for everyone.

Yelp
Came here as part of my 21st Birthday Napa trip and we loved it! They made us feel so welcome and at home! The drive here was also gorgeous! We got sprawling views of the hillside. Amelia made us feel so welcome and was very informative, she even gave us an extra tasting that was off the tasting menu! We really loved their Vino de Casa and especially loved their late harvest desert wine! Took two bottles home and it has been well enjoyed. Will always stop by here every time we come to Napa.
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
Really enjoyed our stop here. The tasting room is in a complex with others, but they've made the space their own. Family members working the room gives it an authentic feel and we did leave with a bottle of pinot noir.

Yelp
Had a great time at Ceja winery!!! Ariel and Navek were personable, kind and very thorough with each of the wine tastings. Not to mention very charismatic personalities. They made our visit very enjoyable, the kind of place you feel you can stay for awhile. Wine was tasty. We will definitely be returning.

Katy H.

Yelp
What a place. Great wine. Great atmosphere. Great service. Dalia is such a gem. Dalia, thank you for an amazing time and amazing wine. Have a wonderful time in Spain and hope to see you in Seattle! Thank you for everything. Love, Kathie, Christina and Katy.

Carol S.

Yelp
The wines were nice but I came here specifically to buy their 2010 Carneros Pinot Noir, as I had it at Bouchon in Vegas, and was blown away. It tasted like a big cab, and that's when I fell in love. Unfortunately, the winery was sold out and I left quite disappointed. The tasting was $20 and the host gave us a comped dessert wine tasting, which I give a 7 out of 10.

Yelp
Lovely roadside location. welcoming landscape and personnel. Will come back. had a blast at my nieces wedding.

Yelp
Oh Ceja - how I love you... let me count the ways! I am a proud member of the Ceja wine club. This was our very first Napa/Sonoma wine club membership and I am so glad we chose Ceja! We have enjoyed our membership so much that we decided to purchase an additional membership as a Christmas gift for my parents. Our very first Ceja experience was in April 2014 during the April in Carneros event for my 29th birthday at their Napa vineyard. Salsa music, excellent ambiance, and a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. This place never feels pretentious like other Napa/Sonoma wineries do. We always feel welcome. This weekend 01/25 we had the chance to swing by this new Sonoma location immediately across from their brewery for a tasting. Our wine sommelier, a gentleman - I wish I got his name - was excellent! I appreciate the care and warm, friendly service provided during our tasting. Thank you Ceja family!

Yelp
I was recommended this winery by someone from work and I'm so happy they did! The story of the brand and winery, which is family operated, is amazing & inspiring. The sons were in the tasting room when I went with some friends and they were both very personable, knowledgeable and great with sharing information on their family's wine and general wine knowledge. The weather wasn't great for my trip, but they have a beautiful outdoor/patio area as well. I will definitely be making a trip back!
google avatar

Kimberly P.

Yelp
Dude if you are looking for really smooth red wines and are in Napa, you should definitely visit this place. I'm not a red wine lover but their red wines are so good even my partner my bought a bottle. They tell you the history of the family. I like the they are proud of their Mexican heritage. I would recommend to make an appointment before visiting.
google avatar

Maura M.

Yelp
It was such a cute spot with great people working to talk to. My boyfriend and I felt like we gained friends here. And we got a chance to learn a lot! I would 100% go back!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is an amazing winery you guys. Bumped into it waiting for our table to be called at Fremont Diner. We had 1hr and 15 min wait and it's just 2 minutes away. Ceja Winery is a family owned winery and we met Amelia & Pedro walking from the parking lot. They came right to us to shake our hand and welcome us. Their sons Ariel & Navek were behind the bar and were very personable. The wines were YUM, there's a brewery sharing the same parking lot, it's kid AND dog friendly, there's outdoor corn hole games, picnic tables, a nice relaxing pond. We finished with time to spare and return back to the diner. Something for every body, friendly where it feels like you're hanging with friends, it's a winner!
google avatar

Jesse K.

Yelp
Great wine, amazing and knowledgeable people. But if you sit outside, you will smell cows the entire time.

Jennifer L.

Yelp
So 5's ... Left disappointed ... Wanting more Pours weak for my boyfriend... We liked Pintos n we're going to spend $56 on a bottle but they wouldn't waive one tasting ... Maybe That's the new thing in Sonoma ...not worth it:(
google avatar

Davet M.

Yelp
What an amazing experience. Getting out of the car, walking to the tasting room, I felt like I was in Mexico with the dusty road and stone pavement leading to the front door. The weather was beautiful. People were sitting on the patio, listening to music, enjoying the ambiance (wine and beer, I'm sure). Then, to my surprise, Ariel is working the tasting room! To hear their family history and enthusiasm from an energetic young man was touching. Family value is what built this winery and will keep it going strong for years to come. "Fregon" is what his friends call him. He walked around from behind the counter to give us a hug goodbye and we left the tasting room feeling like family...
google avatar

Kamish H.

Yelp
Such a fun time here! Not just tasty wine but a chill atmosphere and terrific bartender / sommelier in Steven. Delicious wines, full of variety, and a wonderfully entertaining time. Not inexpensive bottles but a fair price for good wine! Three tables inside, a bunch outside in a garden, and did I mention Steven?! We would come back just to see him.
google avatar

Keli M.

Yelp
If you are reading this and trying to decide which winery to visit next, LOOK NO FURTHER! You won't find more delicious wine or lovely people than Ceja! The Ceja family is welcoming and loving and, let's be real, make AMAZING wine! This new tasting salon is on the same beautiful property as their sister company Carneros Brewery, TWO drink experiences on one property! Incredible wine, gorgeous property, lovely people, need I say more!?! Go!!!
google avatar

Michael Joseph Fitzpatrick F.

Yelp
Great wine from a friendly and warm family run winery! Well structured reds and whites that shows their dedication and talent! I always enjoy visiting for tasting and talking wine with family!

Josh D.

Yelp
A must stop by tasting room. 4th winery of the day for us, and by far the ONLY one that still "story told" and was happy to see us! Such a great family history! Highly recommend!
google avatar

Maggie L.

Yelp
We wanted to support a Hispanic-owned winery so decided to check out Ceja. We were not disappointed. It's a fairly small tasting room with a nice outside area. The setting is not as spectacular as some of the other places we have been to in Napa or Kenwood, but it is pleasant enough. The place has a family-owned feel and the people pouring the wine are friendly and chatty. I was with Spanish speakers and it was great for them to get to chat with one of the family members (I think) in their native language. What I liked most about the place was the wine. All of wines were to my liking, including the desert wine, which I don't normally sample. I like my wines more on the delicate and complex side and that was what I found at Ceja. We bought their Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. The Sauvignon Blanc we've already had at home and it was wonderful! I would definitely go back to this winery again.
