Celajes Restaurant Monteverde

We requested a private dinner in the gazebo, the atmosphere and the hospitality were excellent. As a whole food/plant based (vegan) eater, I wasn't sure what to expect. The flavors, combination of foods and the presentation were fabulous! To all fellow vegan's, who have the opportunity to eat here; it's worth it!

Best birthday dinner I’ve ever had. Free cocktail for my partner and I and the food was incredible. Hazel was our waitress and she was extremely attentive and took great care of us.

It provides excellent service and the view is spectacular. The food is good and the price is reasonable for such hotel.

Legitimately the best restaurant in Monteverde. Every dish was amazing, service is so friendly and warm, and the atmosphere is incredible. We ate here for almost every single meal!

5 stars We had an amazing experience at Celajes Restaurant in Monteverde! The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was full of flavor and clearly made with care. We also really enjoyed their happy hour – great drinks and a beautiful view made it the perfect way to relax in the afternoon. The atmosphere is peaceful and the setting is stunning, with views of the cloud forest all around. Our whole family was very happy with the visit. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. It’s a perfect spot for a special meal or a relaxing evening in Monteverde. Highly recommend it – we’ll definitely be back!

Celajes was a great find while we were staying in Monteverde. We showed up on a Tuesday night without a reservation, but were able to get seated immediately. All the food was delicious and fresh. Our host, Adan, took great care of us throughout the evening, and we had everything we needed when we needed it. Also, the view here is stunning at sunset. Would highly recommend checking out for a great meal.

We were looking at dinner options in Monteverde which were a little upscale and came across Celajes restaurant located with Hotel Belmar. There were a lot of people when we went to dinner so service was definitely slower than expected, but the food was really great and offset that. The setting and ambience is beautiful as well. We got the burrata, fish with palm fruit puree and the chicken entree - all of which were great. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for interesting flavour combinations and something different from the usual in Costa Rica!

Incredible. Waiter named Adan was very attentive and friendly. Beautiful place, stunning views that allowed you to watch the fireflies. Food is inventive and delicious
