Celestino Boutique Hotel (Medellín, Colombia) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The Zona Rosa of Medellín’s thriving El Poblado neighborhood is home to Via Primavera, a street lined with boutique shops, restaurants, and nightspots. It’s here that you’ll find the Celestino Boutique Hotel, a 22-room oasis that’s decked out in forest green, jungle prints, and plenty of living greenery. The rooms are dramatic, full of graphic contrast, combining rustic natural materials and industrial-chic fixtures. They’re compact but plenty comfortable, especially the ones at the front of the hotel, with their street-facing balconies. As for services, the Celestino is more pied-à-terre than grand palace; its bustling neighborhood, though, has everything you could need." - Tablet Hotels

Celestino is in a really great location, and was under a 15 minute walk from nearly everything we wanted to see and do... but with that, comes the noise. I read a few reviews that made me nervous, then when we arrived at the hotel the reception warned us and when we went into the room there were earplugs so we were a bit nervous! But we listen to a rain app and have our laptops on to sleep so it wasn't bad for us. I can definetely understand why it may be bad for others. There was nothing we didn't like but: 1. It's not a fully catered hotel, it doesn't really have the services of a hotel like breakfast, room service .etc. 2. The gym facilities are a few dumbells on the roof next to the pool - wasn't an issue for us as we weren't there to work out 3. The pool is quite small, you can fit around 4 sunloungers so if you're in Medellin to chill by the pool, this isn't the right place for you Overall, - The service/staff were lovely, especially the front desk staff. - The location is amazing. - The design and feel of the hotel/rooms is great. We would stay again.

Staying at Celestino Hotel was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of El Poblado, giving you the best of both worlds: the vibrant energy of the city combined with a serene, natural atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, the design and ambiance make you feel like you’ve stepped into a calm oasis right in the middle of Medellín. What really made my stay stand out, though, was the incredible hospitality from Mateo. His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail went above and beyond. Whether it was offering helpful recommendations, making sure I felt comfortable, or simply greeting me with a warm smile, Mateo truly elevated the entire experience. Celestino Hotel offers the perfect combination of nature-inspired tranquility and city convenience. If you’re visiting Medellín and want to feel both connected to the city and surrounded by a natural, relaxing vibe, this is the place to be. ✨ Highly recommend – and a special thanks to Mateo for making my stay so memorable!

Wow! What an incredibly beautiful place. Hotel Celestino is right in the middle of El Poblado and was walking distance to lots of restaurants and stores. Unlike other reviews, we didn’t have an issue with noise at night but we did stay during the week and weren’t there on the weekend. Luis was such a fantastic help upon check in and throughout our trip.

Check in was great and Alejandro did exceptionally as the front desk rep. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were there on a weekend and it was loud but they mentioned this when our booking was made. The sauna, pool, and plunge were great services that are included with the booking.

We stayed in a room with a balcony on the 6th floor and had amazing views over Medellin and the sun setting behind the mountains. The staff were very attentive, with a special mention for Ricardo who welcomed us on our first day and was so helpful throughout our stay. The cafe on the ground floor serves great coffee and overall we really enjoyed our stay at Celestino and would highly recommend it.

The hotel is nice, rooms confortable and clean, and the staff friendly and helpful. It is however mega noisy from 10pm to 7:30am. Daytime neighborhood is nice to visit. Nighttime it is nightclub city with open roofs and windows. You’d think the party is in your room. Area is safe at all time but night time crowd is a mix of party goers, poor women with children on the street corners, and prostitutes (which is legal in Colombia). If you’re a light sleeper, I’d say a definite no.

What an incredible hotel!! It is absolutely gorgeous. My fiancé and I stayed for 3 days. Great vibes. Great views. The room looks like a movie set, it was so unique. Very relaxing. We love that the SPA is in the same building and you get a discount for booking! The staff are SO nice!! Luis and Ricardo treated us better than any place we’ve ever been to! They were so patient with us and we couldn’t be happier with the service. We love everything about this place. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Great rooftop jacuzzi and sauna. Service available but not overly attentive. Expect noise from nearby discotheques until 3 am. Location is fabulous.
