Celestino Boutique Hotel (Medellín, Colombia) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The Zona Rosa of Medellín’s thriving El Poblado neighborhood is home to Via Primavera, a street lined with boutique shops, restaurants, and nightspots. It’s here that you’ll find the Celestino Boutique Hotel, a 22-room oasis that’s decked out in forest green, jungle prints, and plenty of living greenery. The rooms are dramatic, full of graphic contrast, combining rustic natural materials and industrial-chic fixtures. They’re compact but plenty comfortable, especially the ones at the front of the hotel, with their street-facing balconies. As for services, the Celestino is more pied-à-terre than grand palace; its bustling neighborhood, though, has everything you could need." - Tablet Hotels

Staying at Celestino Hotel was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of El Poblado, giving you the best of both worlds: the vibrant energy of the city combined with a serene, natural atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, the design and ambiance make you feel like you’ve stepped into a calm oasis right in the middle of Medellín. What really made my stay stand out, though, was the incredible hospitality from Mateo. His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail went above and beyond. Whether it was offering helpful recommendations, making sure I felt comfortable, or simply greeting me with a warm smile, Mateo truly elevated the entire experience. Celestino Hotel offers the perfect combination of nature-inspired tranquility and city convenience. If you’re visiting Medellín and want to feel both connected to the city and surrounded by a natural, relaxing vibe, this is the place to be. ✨ Highly recommend – and a special thanks to Mateo for making my stay so memorable!

To start on a positive note - the hotel is beautiful and the room is well designed and has a great comfortable aesthetic. I loved the shower, the bed is comfortable, and it was all really well considered despite the small footprint; the hotel common space is limited but the rooftop pool, sauna and cold plunge are nice amenities to have with great views. The staff was friendly in our few interactions and it was very clean and modern all over. That said... the reviews about the noise are not joking. I'll admit I booked my trip spontaneously without much research but the hotel's location is on a pedestrian-only street that really activates at night - it's not as chaotic as the street two blocks east but the venues here are open air and BLAST music. The noise does turn down by midnight but if you want to go to bed before then, good luck. I was one of those people and it was just not an ideal situation, I was room 401 so faced the street, maybe it's not as bad higher or on the opposite side? The hotel knows this is an issue and at check in they gave me option to pay for only one night and see how noise was - however for me, the first night was quiet on Thursday and only Friday/Saturday was the noise really loud. Obviously the noise is not in the control of the hotel and the aspect of the neighborhood, and if you are someone who will be going out, it's not an issue, but if you aren't... there are other options in El Poblado not so directly in the craziness.

It was a great stay. Loved the sauna. The staff were so friendly and helpful! Special shout out to Ricardo for his attentiveness. He even warmed up my leftovers and brought to me in my room! Everyone was so kind and thoughtful. The room was nice as well.

The stay has been wonderful. During weekdays we couldn’t hear any noise from the cafe or bar outside , though hotel had warned us and they provided earplugs just in case. |Luis at the reception was exceptional , he gave us details tips about the sightseeing of medellin , also hotel got public transport card to lend , so we can just refil . This details is everything for traveler

What an incredible hotel!! It is absolutely gorgeous. My fiancé and I stayed for 3 days. Great vibes. Great views. The room looks like a movie set, it was so unique. Very relaxing. We love that the SPA is in the same building and you get a discount for booking! The staff are SO nice!! Luis and Ricardo treated us better than any place we’ve ever been to! They were so patient with us and we couldn’t be happier with the service. We love everything about this place. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

It's a very lovely hotel, small but very cozy. Some people complain about the noise, but it didn't bother me. The front desk staff is very attentive. Andrea went out of her way to help me when there were issues with the elevator. The massages are top-notch. I will definitely return.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding, and I’d especially like to recognize Alejandro, Mateo, and Juan for going above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail truly made a difference. One particular moment that really stood out was when I realized I had left behind a 14k gold medal after checking out. I was incredibly impressed by how quickly and professionally the staff responded. Thanks to their honesty and efficiency, I was able to recover the item without any issue—a rare and much-appreciated gesture that speaks volumes about the integrity of the team here. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place where you’ll not only be treated like a valued guest but also cared for with genuine hospitality. Thank you again to the entire staff, and especially Alejandro, Mateo, and Juan!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The interior design is stylish and thoughtfully curated, creating a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The lush, green surroundings made it feel like a peaceful oasis right in the heart of the city. The location is perfect — central, with everything easily accessible. The level of comfort and safety provided throughout the stay was exceptional. What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, was the team. A special mention to Alejo and Mateo 🫶— incredibly professional, friendly, and full of positive energy. Their hospitality and communication made me feel truly cared for. Highly recommend this place and would love to come back!
