Pastelería Celicioso

I just visited this Celicioso and was deeply disappointed and concerned about the quality and safety of the food served. I ordered a chicken dish, and upon cutting into it, I noticed it was visibly undercooked and dangerously pink inside. I immediately sent it back, expecting the issue to be resolved. However, when the dish was returned, the chicken was still undercooked. Serving raw or undercooked chicken is not only unacceptable but also a serious health risk. I felt unsafe eating the meal and left with concerns about my well-being. This experience was not just disappointing but genuinely alarming, as food safety should be the highest priority in any restaurant. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue to ensure no other guest faces such a dangerous situation. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Lovely environment. Unfortunately, poor-tasting cupcakes - dry and maybe stale, though it may be the drying effect of the chilled cabinet. I found this place too cold - as if the air conditioning is set for the staff and not patrons. Staff were not friendly, but that’s the luck of the draw. Bottom line: the bakery needs focus. It’s not working well yet.

Cute café of the Celicioso franchise in an upscale hotel. There are many different meal options on the menu so that everyone can find something they like, including vegans and vegetarians. As a celiac, I'm super grateful such a nice place that is 100% gluten free exists. The tofu poke bowl was not mind blowing, but solid. The Energy green juice was really good. Coffee average. Nice stylish interior and there are electrical sockets down the entire right side of tables when you enter to charge your laptop or phone. Some people were there working. Price wise, it's on the higher side but then it's in the centre of a capital city and gluten free ingredients are more expensive, so it's understandable. Service was friendly and helpful. If you're in a rush, might be better to say it when you order as the pace is rather leisurely in here.

Delicious food, there’s a variety of salads and mains apart from cakes and sweets. The inside is very welcoming as well, well working AC was definitely appreciated while hiding from Madrids heat. Very good visit, recommended.

It’s supposed to be a luxury Celicioso as it’s in m collaboration with Only you hotel. They didn’t clean my table, just removed the mugs….disgusting!! Lot of people talking high volume,it’s not relaxing at all. Price for coffee 3.3€…and it wasn’t nothing special honestly. As Celicioso’s brand offer is always amazing and gluten and nuts free. Portion of cakes in this place are little than in other Celicioso!!

Whenever I’m in Madrid I love to go to Celicioso. It’s a comfortable setting where you always feel welcome! The staff is kind, accommodating and quick. We were lucky to have Geoffrey as our waiter and he was extremely kind, friendly and efficient. Thanks!!! We woke up late so we had a late breakfast. We shared the eggs Benedict with avocado and the lemon merengue tart. 10/10 recommend especially if you’re gluten free or sensitive!!!

- No prices displayed and it seemingly irritated the employee to list off all the prices… -Alot of sub-par icing (flattened on half the whole cake in the window etc) -We were served a sloppy broken piece of the Black Velvet after paying. For a cake slice that cost €3.90 I was shocked at the lack of care. - Take-away was in plastic, would’ve hoped for something more sustainable. -Taste of cake: bitty icing (chewy and had to get my mouth round it) and lacked any discernible flavour - for a chocolate cake. Will not be returning. I had better coeliac-friendly cake in normal cafés in Madrid…

5 star gluten free bakery in Madrid. Plenty of vegan options also. The options were various to suit every taste. My fav spot in Madrid for GF sweets.

Of the three branches in Madrid, this is probably the nicest of the bunch with a modern interior, big tables and overall more of an upscale feel. We came in here for a meal when it was exceptionally busy. Staff were running round, but I must say that our waiter seemed to be doing the lion's share of the work! I had a chicken burger and my partner (who was on a very restricted diet) ordered an egg dish. We had a long wait for the food, and when it finally came they had made the wrong thing for my partner. Because of his dietary restrictions, it had to be sent back as he couldn't eat it - so we had another wait for the fish which finally came... and was cold. By this point were were fed up though and just accepted it. One other frustration - we couldn't find the toilets! The signs direct you into the hotel which is connected, but once we were through there we just couldn't find them! Very frustrating!

Delicious desserts. I didn't get to try any of the savory items but the lemon pie was amazing. Even my non celiac friends who are very skeptical of gluten free food loved it. The second runner up was the cheesecake. The environment was relaxed and the young girl at the register was nice. There are a few locations which is great. I would definitely recommend for anyone with celiac who would like a sweet treat.

This place is amazing! Great to enjoy an evening with friends while eating delicious pastries from the exquisite bakery. We had a sugar free banana pie which was delicious. Soft and tasty. Besides we had a low fat calorie gluten free brownie that was very tasty as well. The service is great and the place is cozy and beautiful. I highly recommend this place when you visit Madrid.

Really enjoyed this cafe/bakery/vegan in Madrid. Was our place for breakfast. Very fresh fruit and you need to try the CoCo eggs. Eggs on bread, cooked in coconut oil sprinkled with coconut, on bread and avacado with a raspberry reduction sauce. Perfect for two of us. Have a bunch of gluten free delectables and excellent cafe con leche as well. Service was very good. Try it for breakfast, brunch, lunch, mid afternoon snack.

You don't need to be a vegetarian to enjoy salad and you don't need to be gluten free to enjoy Celicioso. Breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. All the food is amazing. There is a wide variety of options from egg dishes to salads, sandwiches and pastas. The menu is printed in Spanish and English and the service is fast and friendly. The restaurant is comfortable and bright. Have been here multiple times while visiting Madrid and always enjoy it.

good price, excelent food, great ambience.. congrants! everything is gluten free. some times is hard to find a gluten free place,this one is the best so far for me. service was very good as well.

Traveling in a different country, where I don't speak very much of the language is a challenge with celiac. I want to enjoy the food but spend so much time worrying it will make me sick. NOT here!! I'm not sure I've been anywhere before where they have such a wide variety of amazing and and IT'S ALL GLUTEN FREE!! Go! Eat! Enjoy! Be happy!

So if you are like me and don't eat gluten (often to be shamed by your friends for this), then you know food and pastries are hit and miss. This restaurant has an amazing menu. We had toast and eggs, a hamburger with fries, pasta bolognese and a salad. Everything was delicious. And the Atmosphere is relaxed and modern. And if you have some extra time, poke through the hotel. It's beautiful and so interesting. Ohhhh. And the pastries - cookies, cakes, cupcakes and macaroons - they come vegan and without sugar. And some with milk, but the options are endless.

Delicious poche egg, we ate one with bacon and other with salmon. very beautiful place. average cost per person € 18.

Very delicious! Tried their tuna salad, vegan vanilla chocolate cupcake, and an açaí bowl. Affordable, quick service, and large selection of gluten-free items! they also have great vegan and lactose free items as well!

Food was very good! A lot of the people in the restaurant were more focus on taking pictures of their food.

Ate at this establishment everyday! Great food! HEALTHY & good! The smoothies were awesome along with the vegan cupcakes!

The food was good the service was poor, if you are a tourist and don't speak Spanish you can forget getting good service. The server snatched the bill while I was trying to sign, he rang the transaction up wrong as after I explained. I will never come back to this establishment. He started speaking very badly of my mother and I and he didn't realize I understood what he was saying. It was very upsetting because we decided to eat here because of the stars and feedback from others who visited

Man listen! Gluten free baked goods can really be horrible! That's what I expect! They have completely changed the game! The place is amazing, the staff is friendly and not to mention very attractive. They look professional from the time you walk in. The presentation of the baked goods was on point as well. We got carrot bread, banana bread, a peanut butter chocolate cupcake, and a macadamia white chocolate cookie. EVERYTHING was amazing! The sheer taste of the fresh ingredients was enough to bring me back. Every trip to Madrid from now on will include a stop at Celeicioso!

This place is the BEST! Healthy options that are all gluten free and coming from a person who is not gluten intolerant (I was traveling with my mom who is) still the best food I've had in Spain. What made the experience amazing and had us coming back every night on our stay was our server Angel who went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of, thanks for making our time here a highlight of our trip to Madrid!!

I have been here twice already during my short time in Madrid and I have had a great experience both times! This location is very comfortable, has plenty of seating and has chic decor. As seems to be customary in Spain, you do need to wave to or make eye contact with the servers in order to signal that you are ready to order or get the bill, but this was very easy around 2pm when I was there for lunch both days. The food came very quickly. I ordered the salmon poke bowl the first day and the carbonara pasta the next. The pasta was amazing but the poke bowl was mediocre (not a lot of veggie variety and sort of bland). My friend had the mango vegan tartar and it was a bit sweet but very tasty. However, the 5-star highlight was the drinks. The warm almond milk tumeric ginger latte and the spicy cayenne juice were both deliciously strong in flavour and spice (just how I like my health-tonic type drinks)! The staff were very friendly, helpful and willing to help me with my Spanish or speak English. I finished with a vegan GF carrot cupcake which was very good and it was a fantastic experience overall.

After a day of flying, this place was perfect for a late lunch. Friendly service, inviting atmosphere, and good food. It's right next door to Only You Boutique Hotel, which is also wonderful.

Very nice place! Found it randomly when walking through neighbourhood but will definitely repeat. Interesting and different breakfast and lunch menu options. Very friendly staff and efficient. Very nice environment for working or reading with a nice coffee. Well done!
