Cellarer Wine Bar

Had the most amazing dinner at this beautiful location. The owner himself served the dishes and made great recommendations. We had three different tapas, which came in the absolutely perfect order, to share amongst two. There is no way to say which was the best one, because each and every dish was amazing. And even though I'm not one for desserts, we finished with cheesecake and chocolate cake. Both to die for. If possible, I'd give this restaurant 11/10.

Had a great experience here. I almost didn't go in because I didn't see any seats, but thankfully I did and they have an upstairs, definitely comes in handy if you don't have a booking! The wine list is full, not too expensive, and the staff can recommend something to go with what you're having. I had the mushroom croquette and iberico croquette to start, and then their special of the day - an Argentine steak with potatoes and chimichurri. Probably one of the best steaks I've ever had and I almost wanted to order another, but went with cheesecake for dessert instead. This was also very good. The service was excellent and it would be a great place for a date night!

The best Menu Del Dia i had in Barcelona, and by far the best service I've experienced in Spain! The owner was so nice, translating the menu for us (because my Spanish is just un poco). He explained us everything, such a fine gentleman. This is how a restaurant (well, it's a wine bar) should be! A lot of places just focus on maximizing their margins, but this place focuses on making you happy, providing extraordinary service and fantastic food. Muchas gracias indeed ❣️🤗

We came here for a Special diner when it was super hot outside. Inside was just perfect temperature and it was super atmospheric. Gorgeous details everywhere and very comfortable seats. It’s a restaurant/winebar and it was lovely that people could sit at the bar and enjoy a wine with a tapas too or sit on tables and have a sit down meal this way. It had jazz music playing, the mood was relaxed and you can hear eachother very well without having to raise your voice. The owner and waiter were both fabulous. Super friendly and happy explain the food and wine menu. My favourite person must be the chef though. He/she is a superstar! The Argentian entrecôte was outstanding and full of flavour and our Meloso de ternera succulent and just perfect. We choose to have a cheeseboard after what I can vote easily the best cheeseboard in Barcelona, and I tried a fair few ;) 4 super flavours like old Dutch and a amazing blue cheese that came with chutney and toast. Did I mention the wines? OUTSTANDING! We had bottle of white to share that was very nice and then had some individual glasses to try some different flavours. The waiter/sommelier was very good in helping us to decide and was very knowledgeable about the wines they have on the menu.

A true five-star experience in a lovely and easygoing setting. Felt welcomed from the first seconds of arriving and was treated perfectly throughout the evening. Absolutely delicious menu with delicate touch to the very end. Service was very professional, timed perfectly throughout the evening. One of the best wine and food experiences I've had in my life.

What a great hidden gem. It's in a convenient location as you stroll the city. We had dinner pre drinks here and am truly glad we did. The main bartender accommodated our wine palate with what he thought best and not we where not disappointed. The place is lively, plays great music but you can still hear your friends. There are plenty of options to choose from on the board on the wall. They even play old records at times. I only wished I had found this place sooner while in Barcelona. Enjoy!

I enjoyed my table outside and dinner solo. The service was attentive and the food solid. The buratta was good and meatballs better. Really good pan con tomate too. Great list of wines at reasonable prices.

A nice wine bar that seems to have received a lot of accolades from tourists and Barcelona residents alike. The bar has a good range of wines and a few snack options although, not great if you have any dietary restrictions (ie. Vegan, Gluten-Free etc). Service is nice but not particularly attentive at times.

We had a wonderful meal, salmon tartare and Argentinian beef specials, the salad of the day and calamari. All beautifully prepared. The salad had small pieces of many seasonal fruits and vegetables in a homemade vinaigrette, we also had their tomato bread. The beef was exquisite. A very solid wine list, I asked for a full bodied red and was thrilled with the recommendation from a boutique vineyard . The proprietor knows his menu and the wines, runs all the time making sure everything is going well. We stumbled in knowing nothing about the place, it's great.

Rude. Poor service. Host was of no help and did not try to offer his services or have any recommendations. Do not waste your time! THIS IS NOT A WINE BAR! It is a restaurant.

What a great place! We ordered two glasses of wine and they allowed us to sample different wines before choosing, which was very helpful. We ordered a salad and a slow cooked beef with champignons. Both were excellent. Very cool place with wonderful service. I highly recommend.

What a wonderful surprise was to find this incredible restaurant in the heart of Eixampla . The quality of the produce, the menu, exquisite wine list and the amazing service made our visit to Cellarer an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived until almost three hours later when we left we felt surrounded by dear old friends who welcomed us with open arms. I've been coming to Cellarer for the past 3 years, living in New York but visiting Barcelona quite often its great to know that there is such an authentic place where not only you'll have a wonderful meal but also will feel at home. A must visit.

Wow. Just wow. The service was fantastic - we talked wine and got great suggestions from the owner for each course. The food was exceptional. Standouts are the ceviche and the slow cooked beef. We were skeptical of the super high ratings, but having been there we are totally convinced. Don't miss this place!!!

Wow. So good and so much more than wine. Came back two more times while in Barcelona. Patatas Bravas were amazeballs. And the Carpaccio. And the risotto. I could go on! Staff was great too, super friendly. My third trip here I was on my own and it felt like I was eating at someone's home. Come here! You won't regret it.
