Celler Cala del Vermut

A very cute little bar that seems to be run by a young man. We happened upon this place wanting a quick bite. I ordered a rose and my husband had a beer. We should have had a vermouth but maybe next time! We ordered some prawns, an octopus salad and dinner marinated artichokes. All in all, it was a very good experience.

The place is very small but didn't have to wait. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and they were all delicious. Specially the eggplant, it was perfectly prepared. The portions were reasonable and it was fairly price. The service was excellent. Food came out quickly.

We basically stumbled upon Celler Cala del Vermut by accident and will never forget it. Great atmosphere and tapas. Highly recommend!!

The owner Mayra is truly one of a kind! We were walking around looking for a place to go to and she happened to be outside. She gave us the biggest smile and without saying a word she welcomed us into her bar. It is a small but inviting place. The minute you walk in you feel at home. We tried several different tapas all were delicious. The drinks were amazing and we were always asked how we were and if we needed anything. Her son served us as well and by the time we left we felt like family! Please go support this local place. You won't be disappointed!

Squid rings here are fresh and delicious! House wine is ok 🙂

Awesome place in Barcelona! Charm, great wine and tapas! Absolutely loved it!

This place is something else!! Hands down one of the best tapas bars I bisited during my stay in Barcelona. Close enough to busy streets off La Rambla but tucked away on a little side street so in the perfect spot! Food is delicious and it was so hot and fresh. Prices were insanely reasonable and the place had an ambience you can't put into words! The detail in the decor, theme running through, soft music playing in the background gave it such a chic feel! It was truly special! The owner of the bar is so lovely and friendly too, her spirit runs through and you can twll that this place has been crafted with real love! 1000% recommend!

A very cute, cozy place. The vermut and the patatas bravas were incredible, I think this is the best vermuteria in Barcelona! :) And the owners are very kind and sweet.
