On the Grid : Axil Coffee Co

"Step straight off the ferry and enjoy this breakfast and coffee hangout perched right on Kirribilli wharf. The vibe is chic – casual, relaxed and homely. The service is friendly, treating everyone like a local. Make sure you get there early on the weekends as it’s always packed out. ‘Axil’s Eggs by The Wharf’ is a winner." - Born & Raised

"Celsius is all about lattes with a view—the aquamarine waters of Kirribilli Wharf can be seen through the open windows at this cute-as-a-button wooden-cabin café. It’s just a seven-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay, so a lot of commuters stop off in the morning for their caffiene fix. (But global foodies also seek it out, thanks to social media fame; Instagram influencer Clerkenwell Boy is a fan). Order one of two house blends from Canberra’s ONA Coffee: The Hitman and The Founder. Or, opt for cold brew, iced coffee, teas by New South Wales’s Tea Craft." - Sophie Davies

We had a wonderful dining experience! The food was delicious — every dish was flavorful and satisfying. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning overlooking view of the ocean that made the meal even more special. A big thank you to Nica, who was very friendly and approachable. She made sure we were well taken care of and checked in to ensure everything was perfect. Will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

We were so lucky to grab the last table that was available. The view was fabulous so as the food. The tables were placed quite close to each other so recommend going with more than four people. It could get quite windy if the window is opened (it gets too stuffy when it’s closed so had to have it opened) Recommend on a sunny day for a stunning view 🤩

A tiny little non-descript cafe at Kirribilli Wharf with the most surprising delicious breakfast. We travelled down from Brisbane for the week and this cafe was close to our accomodation. Every item on the menu looked and was delicious, we ended up going back for breakfast every day for the week we were there! The coffee is also great and the staff are so friendly. Really nice to go and sit and have something to eat while waiting for the ferry. The view of the Harbour is lovely and we even saw a pod of dolphins one morning! Will definitely be going back next time we’re in Sydney :)

Fantastic Cafe right at the Kirribilli Wharf Waterfront, Friendly Ambiance, Amazing Food and very friendly staff. Rare Gem and not easy to find as this sits on the Wharf. Glass side seating gives stunning views not to be missed especially on a sunny day. Must say one of the finest coffee i ever had, well presented and well made. I feel, coffee making is an art and Barista at this cafe painted that very well. Mugs were also crafted to the purpose. In short, must visit for a quick run away from usual city cafes.

We heard this was the best coffee in Sydney & can confirm it really is. I had to take a photo of it so I could get myself some beans! We had the avo on toasted croissant with poached eggs, the bacon and eggs (topped with chives & Pepe butter IFYKY– always a good sign), and the avo & waffles. Everything was fresh & full of flavour. A great little spot right on Kirribilli Wharf, you have to walk down to find it but definitely worth a visit. Great spot before Luna Park visit!

The food was absolutely amazing and delicious! Every dish was full of flavor and clearly made with care. On top of that, Nica was so friendly and welcoming—she made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the great service!

Hop off from the ferry and you instantly greeted with this tiny warm cafe. The food are nice, especially the creamy prawn pasta is very umami! The chilli scramble with chorizo also tasty, the waffle is a good companion with watm chai tea in a rainy weatger. It’s worth a trip to Kirribili. Appreciation to the staff who work there, nice and helpful.

A perfect Sunday breakfast with a view of the wharf. Small cafe yet has a big impact in food and flavour. We love the Bill's eggs, prawn pasta and soba noodles bowl. Delicious!!!! Suggest to come early as its a very small shop. Short dining time of 45 minutes but the food was served so quickly, it is very manageable.
