We recently visited for a weekend break, Colin was the perfect host. He was very welcoming and gave us all the information we needed when we arrived, he asked if there was anything else we wanted to know.|He recommended some lovely places to eat, although they were fully booked so I would recommend booking ahead of your stay. |The views from the house are beautiful, we loved staying at Celyn Farm, so many places to explore nearby.|Just the break we needed, we definitely recommend.

Lovely few days away at Celyn Farm. Paul met us on arrival who was very welcoming and provided us with good local knowledge.|Catered for gluten free breakfast and went above and beyond. Room was clean, warm and well stocked with beautiful views.

Fantastic stay, made very welcome. The whole stay was faultless, beautiful home in an incredible setting with superb views. Location is perfect for access to walks , we visited Brecon, Tretower Court, walked the dragons back over Waun Fach and hired bikes from Talybont all within good distance. A comfortable distance to get to mountains driving from London as we would normally go to North Wales. Wouod definitely come back to Celyn Farm again.

Lovely location near Abergavenny. Went for a short break. Sarah and Paul were wonderful hosts. Breakfast was great. I am not sure if their son is destined to be a farmer or work in the B&B. He seemed at home in both the field and in the accommodation. Very friendly, polite and mature for a 7 year old. Really positive experience. Only downside was the small bathroom area.

I booked this accommodation as a Christmas Present for my boyfriend. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, or to unwind for the weekend. The hosts Sarah and Paul were beyond accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as perfect as could be. The house is decorated beautifully and makes you feel so at home. The location has beautiful views and is hidden away, the perfect location to switch off from life stresses. |We really enjoyed Crickhowell which is a short drive away and has lovely places to eat (Sarah and Paul are really helpful with suggestions on where is best). There are a large number of walks around this location and it is definitely worth venturing to the Brecon Beacon National Park to see some amazing views.|I could not recommend this farm house or the hosts more and would love to visit again one day.

Sara and her gorgeous family are perfect hosts at this perfect B&B. They could not have done more for us. Sara even took our drenched gear in and dried it all for us ready for the next days running. We had a beautiful room with spectacular views. Breakfast was just spot on! We can’t wait to come back

I visited the Celyn 14-16/3/2024. I received a very warm welcome. There was parking at the property and my room was well-appointed and cosy with amazing views. I loved waking to the sound of sheep and looking at them on the hill, close to my window. The location, although quite remote, was ideally situated for hiking and exploring which is what I planned to do. The countryside is breathtaking and while there I visited Grwyne Fawr reservoir, Big Pit Museum and Abergavenny. I also had dinner at the Crown which was really enjoyable. Breakfast at the Celyn was very tasty and locally sourced. I felt very well looked after and the family made sure I had everything I needed. If you use Sarah’s instructions for finding the Celyn, you can’t go wrong. I used ‘what three words’ and google maps. Be prepared for little hedgerow lanes and just take it easy. I encountered cyclists and walkers. I would definitely recommend a visit and hope to go again. Thank you Colin, Sarah and family for everything. I had a great time 😊

This was a wonderful place to stay. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, the location and views were stunning, the room and bed were very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. I was also able to work at a desk as well as do some of the many stunning local walks. Highly recommended!
