what a memorable trip that started and finale'd with this wonderful and friendly B&B;|clean and tidy with very friendly owners who went out of their way to accommodate requests outside of the remit of any other accommodation; we were made to feel most welcome to immaculate rooms and spacious guest lounge and breakfast room over looking the 'Sugar Loaf' the breakfast offering was both plentiful and perfectly cooked, set in a remote and relaxing location accessible by cars and mini busses.|thank you so much.

We (a family of four) had a lovely stay for two nights and we all loved it. The rooms were comfortable, the house and garden had beautiful views up on the hills (were we also were hiking). The hosts were so welcoming, helped us out, made a really good breakfast. We can warmly recommend a stay here.

Paul and Sarah are great hosts! Beautiful location and rooms, fantastic breakfast with the other guests, accommodated us arriving quite late in the evening.

The perfect getaway or city break ✨ The farm is set at the base of sugar loaf mountain giving you the most spectacular views and playground to enjoy during the day. Paul, Sarah, and their boys are impeccable hosts. Would love to return!

Lovely small family run B&B with fabulous views from the rooms and the patio. About 20 minutes from Abergavenny town centre & also Llanthony Priory, 5 minutes (up a steep hill) to St Issui's church, Crick Howell not too far a drive, either. Our room was on the top floor, with sloping ceilings, so if you're tall you may need to duck at the windows & in the bathroom. Be prepared to leave your shoes in the reception area as all the carpets are new. The family has a well-behaved friendly dog, so let them know if you would rather Pip not meet you at reception. The hosts couldn't do enough to be of service, & it felt very comfortable & cosy. Breakfasts options of full Welsh, veggie full breakfast with vegetarian sausages & hash brown, or smoked salmon & scrambled eggs. I can personally vouch for the veggie & salmon breakfasts being delicious. They also supply a small continental style buffet in the dining room of toast, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, tomato- & brown sauce. Tea comes in a pot and coffee in a cafetiere. The only things I didn't like about the breakfast set up is you share the dining table* with the other guests, and the crockery is on slate placemats. We had a small issue getting our bedroom door to lock and the toilet seat was a bit loose, otherwise the amenities were all fine. If the weather is nice it's worth getting your favourite tipple & having a quiet drink enjoying the view, the house martins, and the bleating of the sheep in the fields surrounding the building. * The living room is also communal

A lovely quiet place in a scenic river valley setting, well positioned for local walks, pubs and places of interest. Sarah and Paul are excellent hosts and do a great breakfast, with views across the valley from the dining room. Clean, comfortable rooms and a ground floor family lounge which is available for guests. I booked for three nights and liked it so much I extended my stay for another three nights. Highly recommended.

Perfect tranquil location. All you can hear is lambs. Such a beautiful setting and perfect B&B. We run a B&B ourselves and try to choose similar accommodation to ours, we couldn’t fault a thing! |The hosts were truly welcoming (especially as we just turned up out of the blue) and the breakfast was outstanding ( the best bacon and sausage I’ve ever eaten! |Just sad we couldn’t stay another day, but we will return soon.
