Cempedak Island

We had the most amazing experience on our honeymoon at Cempedek. All the amenities were extremely well thought out, the island is truly yours to explore. The staff couldn't have been better, they were all so friendly and accommodating. We spent 5 nights which was perfect for us. The food and atmosphere is 10/10. Highly highly recommend.

Dear Cempedak Island Team, Thank you for a wonderful weekend! From the moment your team greeted us at BBT, at the private jetty, and when Jimmy welcomed us to the island up till Esme and Leanna and the rest waved goodbye to us as we left, it was an amazing experience. Every single meal was delicious, innovative and most importantly, we could feel the passion and heart behind the food. Thank you to the restaurant staff especially Eka, Ocha and Rafly who made sure we were well fed - and kept up a constant supply of sambal! The rest of the team including Jaslan and Ken made us feel at home at all times around the resort. They were always greeting us with a smile and being more than willing to help us out in any activity from archery to snorkelling. We really appreciate the efforts of the team behind the murder mystery, especially Audrie and Owen, for painstakingly setting up the clues all around the island. It was such an immersive experience to be searching all around (and off) the island together with the other residents. We’ll definitely remember this experience for a long, long time. Unfortunately we didn’t catch the names of all the staff who made our stay such a pleasant experience. But we truly had great interactions with every single one of them in their own ways. We had such a blast and we would definitely recommend it to our friends and family! Thank you once again!

We spent our honeymoon at Cempedak Island, and it truly felt like paradise. From the moment we arrived, we were completely enchanted. Everything was beyond our expectations.|Our villa was stunning, surrounded by lush nature and offering perfect privacy. Waking up to the sound of the ocean, birds and cicadas was unforgettable. The atmosphere was serene, elegant, and deeply relaxing. However if you are not into living with some animals like gekkos, this might not be your place - but be loved it! |The service was warm, personal, and genuinely caring. Every single member of the team made us feel special, but a very special thank you goes to Kem, who took care of us at the restaurant with such kindness and attention every day. The food was simply outstanding, creative and fresh, easily on par with top Asian restaurants anywhere in the world.|We’ve been fortunate to travel quite a lot, but leaving Cempedak brought tears to my eyes — that’s how special this place is. It’s rare to find somewhere that combines natural beauty, luxury, and heartfelt hospitality so perfectly.|Five stars without hesitation. We left super happy, deeply relaxed, and already dreaming of returning one day.

It was truly a wonderful, magical stay - firstly, the food was amazing and was a main highlight for us. The staff regularly check in on you to make sure you are well fed. There is no need to bring any snacks at all!||The service was immaculate. The staff were warm, lovely and hospitable, making sure that you were well taken care of. ||Everything about cempedak island was well thought of and they truly cared about sustainability, through their little practices around the island. ||Everyday there would be a chosen complementary activity, from nature walk to sailing, rock climbing, archery etc, so you'll never get bored. We also got to kayak and visit a hidden bar which was super fun to discover. ||We got the weekend package and they arranged a lovely anniversary dinner at the jetty under the stars. It was a memorable and unforgettable experience my partner and I will never forget.

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay here! The design of the place is excellent, every detail just so. It’s a pleasure to move around the space. The accommodation is very spacious. No aircon, just good to know for those who need that kind of thing. I prefer not having it so was happy with the open spaces. The staff is lovely without exception, very professional and helpful with a smile. |The bathroom products are of excellent quality. I am fussy, but left my travel sized comfort products untouched. |Food is good. They really make an effort. We like Indonesian food so enjoyed the variety of dishes. Our teenage son who eats abnormal amounts needed seconds which was always offered to everyone. |They make an effort to provide a decent amount of activities on this secluded spot. I don’t need any of it, but our son did archery, wind surfing, catamaran, rock climbing and played volleyball with the crew. |The light in the restaurant is really dim. It’s completely relaxed, come as you are. Really nice!|The travel process was also well organised. They help you with the passport processing at arrival and you get priority boarding to the ferry on the return trip, never mind which class you booked. There is even a fancy toilet where the car drops you off for the final short boat ride to the island. Just lots of little details which made this trip so comfortable! I’m glad to be eating less now, but would love to come back!

Fantastic stay, just what we were looking for to wind down another hectic and action-packed year. Stunning views, excellent service, amazing food. Kem, Ocha, Winda were warm, welcoming hosts - always with a smile, attention to detail and the invitation to ‘eat more’! Muita had top tips for the nature exploration and Adel went above and beyond. ||Big thank you to all the staff and crew for this unforgettable getaway - can’t wait to be back!

We had an amazing 3D2N stay at Cempedak Private Island to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it was truly unforgettable. The team here is exceptional — what a warm, attentive, and welcoming community you have. Every interaction made us feel completely at home.||From the moment Jimmy received us at the jetty, to Rem thoughtfully introducing each dish during mealtimes, the hospitality was flawless. Even the spa experience by the sea was an incredible treat — relaxing, soothing, and beautifully done.||One of the most memorable moments was after dinner, when a member of the staff played the guitar while the rest of the team sang a birthday song for my husband. They even prepared a beautiful birthday cake for him. It was such a thoughtful and heartfelt gesture — we were genuinely touched.||And the food… where do I even begin? Every single meal was delicious, thoughtful, and so satisfying. We looked forward to every dining experience.||Cempedak is a place that captures your heart with its people, nature, and charm. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend paying Cempedak a visit. 🌿✨
