I really liked the atmosphere and the huge dining hall-like experience.
I like the simpler dishes like what you'd find at a home cooked meal but a lot of it was quite bland. Without the hot sauce there wasn't much salt to anything.
But I liked the huge portions of the cucumber salad.
I think where they really shine is in the sweets. The horchata as well as the vanilla atole were excellent.

Traditional dishes from Colima. They don't have vegan dishes in the menu, but adapted the enfrijoladas and sopes for us. Amazing flavours, excellent service, fair prices.

Every time I visit Villa de Alvarez, Cenaduria Julia is always a must as many times as possible. Food and service, never disappoint.

It gets too crowded on Weekends because of the the flavor of the food (it is really good). I like the fact that the place exists since last century and currently the third generation is managing this family business. I highly recommend the visit of this traditional place in the municipality of Villa de Álvarez.
