A treat, the best spot I went to swim outside of the main lake. The facilities are charming and unpretentious, the food smells lovely, the water is clear and the jungle is *lush*. You can see lots of little fish. Most people are wearing life jackets, but I swam free and did a little free diving- it’s a surreal experience- the water just drops away forever. Peaceful and authentic.

We either had bad luck with the colors of the lake or it has changed to dark waters. We never saw light blue water. The town is not fun. AirBnb was not good. All the roads into town or hotels are a true disaster, you need a big 4 by 4 car. Not worth going unless you can guarantee blue waters. They even say there's an area that was a cementery and water smells like dead people.

Entrance fee for one 50 pesos. Mandatory life jacket which can be rented for 50 pesos. Food 300-500 pesos, beer 55 pesos. The environment is quite nice, but compared to the cenotes around Valladolid, it's miserable.

Amazing staff! Very beautiful cenote! It was very overcast when we went! Fresh tortillas!

Don’t waste your time or money. It’s not a cenote, cenote. It’s more like a just lake. It’s $3 American dollars to get in. The swing is cute and that’s it. The bathroom has no toilet seats. You can not sit unless you buy food or drinks.

I did not like this cenote. It is not well maintained. There was not enough chairs for the people to sit in and the few chairs they did have were old and dirty. It had been raining that day so it was very muddy and slippery. The food was OK. I feel like they could do better knowing they get some many tourists coming in. Also be aware the water is very deep and there are no lifeguards, swim at your own risk.

It was refreshing!! Apparently it was told to us that this Cenote opens up your pores to release all the toxins. So needless to say, I swam for an hour.

We absolutely LOVE this place! Resturante Cenote Azul is delicious, unique, and the best part is, one can swim in the mystically deep beautiful waters of the Cenote. Veer to the right when you get down to the dining areas-Miguel is the best waiter!
