These Are the 14 Best Cenotes in Tulum, Mexico

"Situated less than three miles south of Tulum and sharing a single entrance with a neighboring cenote, this lush, picture-postcard sinkhole is great for swimming and snorkeling; adventurous visitors can use ropes to swing into the water, and there are benches for relaxing afterwards. The combined entrance fee for both cenotes is about 200 pesos (~$10)." - Patricia Doherty Patricia Doherty Patricia Doherty is a writer who specializes in covering destinations, resorts, and cruises for Travel + Leisure and other publications. Amazing chill place! Perfect to spend a few hours to refresh, swim, jump, snorkel. You purchase the ticket on the right side (north on map) and then enter the way to cenote on the left(south). That’s why the google maps has two locations.

Only did the southern. Not crowded. Clear water and good infrastructure. Changing rooms and bath and a swing to jump into the Cenote. 150 pesos if you only visit one. No lockers but not needed. Much recommended !

I love this cenote. It's big, loads of room to swim and move around. Beautiful and last two times met some amazing people. Definitely recommend it

Probably the best cenote we saw in the Tulum area. Long shaped cenote, with steps on either end. Or you can use the rope swing to jump in. Lots of fish so take your snorkel. Decent bathrooms. Get there before 10:30am to have the place to yourself. Really peaceful.

Stunning! Definitely worth getting the ticket for both this one and cenote Clara. This one was a bit busier so maybe start here? That being said we ended up chatting to some lovely people who we would have missed by coming earlier. You do have to buy the ticket across the road and then make the trek up the long drive way to the cenote but it all makes for a lively day trip. 300 pesos for both cenotes :D oh and prepare yourself for some little fish!

This is a great place to chill all day. Water was just perfect temperature. You can buy beer and chilling next to cenote. It's also so beautiful and not too crowded. High recommend.

Awesome place for sure! Great water, easy access and everything there for be confortable in the jungle. Make sure you find on the main road the sign, the ticket office is on the other side of the road. 150 pesos is definately worth it.

Beautiful place, relatively cheap (150MXN), but not much to see. No cavern, just a mini lake with cristal clear water. You can bike there easily (15 minutes from downtown).
