The Cenote Mariposa serene atmosphere and stunning beauty made this spot totally worth a visit! ❤️ What I Loved ✅ Beautiful Setting: The cenote is breathtaking, surrounded by lush greenery and crystal-clear waters. ✅ Helpful Staff: The staff were incredibly friendly and made our visit even more enjoyable. ✅ Craft Store: The craft store on-site had some great hand made souvenirs that are perfect for remembering this amazing trip. 🤔 Room for Improvement ⚠️ Weather Constraints: The weather played a small role, as it was rainy during our visit. ⚠️ Accessibility: Definitely recommend booking a trip in advance, as Cenote Mariposa is somewhat off the beaten path. 👍👎 Final Verdict I highly recommend visiting Cenote Mariposa, especially as part of a guided tour. Don’t forget to set aside some cash for the lovely souvenirs at the craft store. 💡 Pro Tip: If possible, check the weather forecast before your visit to make the most of this breathtaking outdoor experience!

These cenotes were beautiful! We booked an excursion, and this was absolutely my favorite part. I wish we had stayed here all day. The food was delicious, there were hammocks to lay out in, the water was crisp, very cold and refreshing! We went during the week and it was not crowded at all. A great experience with my family!

We drove our rental SUV to this cenote. The road is very rough with lots of bumps and holes. You have to go slow but once you get there you’ll see it was worth the $400 pesos! There’s 2 cenotes that you get access too. We noticed that most people were with a tour which included food at the restaurant on site. Nice facilities with lockers, bathroom and outdoor shower to rinse off. The cenote was nice! We loved the second one best. So glad we stumbled upon this while in Tulum!

What an amazing experience we had at this cenote! We stopped by here and had a delectable Mayan lunch followed by a refreshing swim. Lockers are supplied to you along with a lock & key to put your belongs. Mandatory are lifejackets and rinsing yourself prior to entering the water. This is to preserve the cenote. The water is crystal clear and fairly shallow, so you cannot jump or dive. The highlight of this place are the bats that were flying in the cave. They brought fasination and eerieness to all the children.

This is a beautiful cenote. It's half cave and half open air. Try to come when it's not busy. It's not very big. it is also shallow in many spots so no diving. Be careful of kicking rock when swimming. The grounds are very nice with a restaurant if you're hungry. There are also lockers to store your valuables and floatation devices for those who don't swim or are weak swimmers. I would wear one just so you can be lazy and float around in the beautiful water.

Beautiful and on the shallow side for cenotes. Water shows are highly recommended (if allowed), in some sections the rocks come up really high and you end up kicking your feet directly into them just floating around.

Thankfully I paid a tour company to take me here I can't imagine finding this place on my own. This cenote was pretty there was a place to change and shower before getting in. Also a bar/restaurant. I would recommend using the life jackets. There's a cool swing for photos. This is about a 5 minute walk from Cenote Chen Ha I'd recommend checking out both. There are stairs getting down the landing and I'd recommend wearing swim shoes just because of all the rocks in the shallow spots and just to get around.

It was small but the swings added a great touch. The water was a little dirty naturally but it was an amazing experience overall. The water felt amazing with a hot humid day
