Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin

What an absolutely fabulous hotel this is.  It is a virtual oasis given it's set in large, beautifully kept gardens, and right on the beach.  ||There are a myriad of shops, cafes, restaurants, tailors, and a 7 11 just outside the compound.  There are two pools, one adults only, several bars and eateries and the staff are amazing - nothing ever appears to be difficult.||It is so lovely and quiet.  The rooms are quite spacious, beds are very comfortable and the water pressure is excellent.||Be aware that some rooms have showers within bath tubs, so you have to climb into it, which is not entirely satisfactory if you are older or have mobility issues.  Rooms above the Elephant Bar are also noisy.  There are no lifts on the premises and its three storeys high.||We highly recommend this place for its location, service standards, cleanliness and comfort.  We will be back.

Must have walked past the gates 1,000 times... always wanted to stay. .||...now we have and it is every bit as lovely as you could imagine. Booked a last-minute deal and the hotel is undergoing a freshening up but it is all nicely masked so no impact.||Instead, a stunning property with that genuine period charm almost entirely lost from Thailand. Most basic of rooms but still beautifully laid out with wooden ceilings and floors throughout. Bathroom obviously of a certain age but spotlessly clean. Bed super comfortable too.||Grounds are stunning... the beach itself at Hua Hin isn't wildly appealing but looks like the Centara kind of negates the need to leave the property.||Check-in polite and prompt, waited briefly for the room but we were early and well before the stated check-in time.||Overall, SO glad to have finally 'ticked the box' and strongly recommend anyone passing through the town to stump up for one night (at least!) here... it's a special treat.

With so many positive reviews, we were hoping the hotel lived up to expectations and it surpassed them! Simply one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. We had a family room with two doubles which was spacious and had a large balcony on the first floor. Whilst the resort is clearly of a historical design, impressively everything worked like a modern hotel. The breakfast was probably the best we’ve had, with high quality food and super helpful staff. Staff throughout were attentive and helpful, they are so incredibly well trained. The majority of the large pool was shallow enough for our 3 year old to stand in which was a real bonus. The whole experience contributed massively to us being able to enjoy the resort and relax.

This hotel is simply magnificent I cannot speak highly enough of it. I would like to thank Jan and all his staff for the outstanding effort that was shown to Denice and I during our stay. All the staff were friendly, helpful, courteous and professional in everything that they did. We would like to mention just a few. In the Railway Restaurant, Mon, Pew, Nam, Guitar, Mai and Bank for outstanding friendly service. In the Elephant Bar, Nim, Sanim and Bai Toey, again for friendly outstanding service. Also Nid in House Keeping who did an outstanding job in looking after us and our room. And last but not least the friendly hard working Bellboys who were always there to help. Many thanks to you all for making our stay just the best experience ever. We will be back again next year.

Although the hotel is undergoing renovations you would hardly know this during your stay. Centara Grand Hua Hin is still an oasis of piece, tranquility with beautifully manicured gardens and right on the beach. |The rooms are extremely comfortable, clean and spacious and the breakfast is exceptional catering for all tastes. |Book a club room for that little extra special treatment in the club lounge over evening cocktails. |The staff are super attentive and will cater for your every need. |Highly recommended, |Enjoy your stay 😊

We have been returning to our second home, Centara Grand in Hua Hin, for more than five years now, and every time we arrive it feels just as special as the first time. Coming back to this hotel, with its wonderful staff and dedicated management, is truly heartwarming. This year we once again enjoyed the unique atmosphere that makes Centara Grand so extraordinary. The moment you step into the grand entrance and walk through the lobby, you feel it — a sense of history, elegance, and genuine hospitality. Many of the staff have been here for years, which says it all: this is not only a place guests love to return to, but also a place where the team takes pride in being part of its legacy. It really feels like my home away from home. Everything during our stay was once again perfectly organized. The gardens are beautifully maintained all year round, but during the holiday season they turn into a true wonderland, with thousands of lights creating magical evenings. We will keep coming back not only for the beautiful surroundings and impeccable service, but because Centara Grand Hua Hin has a soul, and it’s one we’re proud to be a part of. We stay at this hotel several times a year and have just returned from our latest visit. The GM Jan and his amazing staff just make you feel so welcome we just keep returning time after time. Every single member of staff makes this hotel what it is. The location is superb, easy access to the bars, restaurants and local market are just a short stroll away and then you return to the most beautiful tranquil hotel via its amazing topiary gardens. I was impressed from the moment I drove in the front gate. If you are looking for or need to chill, relax & unwind, then The Grand Centara is where you need to be. The Grand Centara oozes Old English charm of a bygone era. The main foyer is absolutely stunningly beautiful. You are greeted by the most fabulous, friendly and professional staff and the check in is simple & straightforward. The resorts rooms, restaurants, bars & other facilities are top level & second to none. The resort has vast outdoor green areas with an abundance of manicured lawns, gardens & trees. It is most definitely NOT a concrete monolith. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Well done Grand Centara. 10 out of 10.
