Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin

We stayed here for 5 days at the end of a Far East tour and it was by far the best hotel of our stay. The staff are very friendly and efficient, the surroundings superb. The hotel is undergoing refurbishment but they are managing it well by doing one wing at a time and minimising noise before 10.00 and after 5.00 We scored only 4 on accommodation as we stayed in a wing that has not yet been refurbished and the rooms are very dark. However we did check out the refurbished rooms and these are excellent. Many people comment that they see this hotel as a second home and keep returning - well, we will certainly be back.

Great hotel with beautiful grounds, three pools and beach front. We had a garden room and it was a good size. A good selection of buffet breakfast with fresh fruit, breads, continental and cooked foods including Asian foods and an egg station where the chef cooks to order. The bar has live entertainment and lovely cocktails. The tea room has a wonderful selection of cakes and afternoon tea.||Staff was friendly and helpful. They helped us organise taxis for day trips.||Great location too with lots of restaurants and convenient stores (Seven Eleven) nearby. It’s a 20 min walk to Market Village.||We extended our stay here!

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! ❤️Our stay at Centara Grand Beach Resort Hua Hin was truly unforgettable. The moment we arrived, we were swept away by its old-world charm — grand colonial-style architecture, amazing gardens, and the most welcoming smiles from the staff. It felt like stepping into another era, where time moved slower and everything was a little more beautiful.Our room was spacious and elegant, with all the comforts you could ask for. (Bathrobes were not in the closet, but with a phone call to reception , the robes were delivered promptly to our room). Love the beach bag that they provide during our stay. The resort’s location is unbeatable — just a short, pleasant stroll to charming cafés, restaurants, and the lively Hua Hin Night Market. Everything we needed was within easy reach, yet the resort still felt wonderfully private and serene.One of the highlights for me was going horse riding along the beach. I didn’t go far though, just enough to take pictures. A little negotiation skill with the horse handler would come handy and I paid THB300 for this lovely experience. The only small downside is that the beach isn’t really suitable for swimming — but honestly, with the beautiful pools and so much else to enjoy, it didn’t take away from the experience at all.Centara Hua Hin has a special soul — a rare mix of history, beauty, and genuine hospitality. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already dreaming of coming back! ❤️

This was our second stay at this beautiful and historic hotel. The location and design are perfect for every eventuality. During the day you can bask in the beautifully kept gardens surrounding the pool and be forgiven for thinking that you are the only hotel for miles around. And then in the evening you can exit via the side gate at the front, through still more gardens and immediately be in the hustle and bustle of Hua Hin. But what keeps us returning though are the exemplary staff under the leadership of Jan (hotel manager). Everything single one is polite, friendly and warm. They will make your stay and absolutely pleasure.

With so many positive reviews, we were hoping the hotel lived up to expectations and it surpassed them! Simply one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. We had a family room with two doubles which was spacious and had a large balcony on the first floor. Whilst the resort is clearly of a historical design, impressively everything worked like a modern hotel. The breakfast was probably the best we’ve had, with high quality food and super helpful staff. Staff throughout were attentive and helpful, they are so incredibly well trained. The majority of the large pool was shallow enough for our 3 year old to stand in which was a real bonus. The whole experience contributed massively to us being able to enjoy the resort and relax.

We stayed at the Centara Grand Beach resort for two weeks. We had a wonderful stay, due to 1 the colonial style exterior of the hotel 2 the friendliness of the staff 3 the quality of the food 4 the proximity of the sea (Gulf of Thailand).||My wife had her birthday during our stay. To our surprise we found a chocolate cake in our room, with congratulations of the management. We celebrated my wife's holiday with a perfect "Romantic dinner at the seaside" in the Pavillion.||All in all we look back at a perfect stay in a beautiful hotel.

Yet another fantastic holiday in the best hotel in Hua Hin. We were a bit concerned this year as they are upgrading one of the wings and thought it might be noisy. We needn't have worried, there was no noise at all. This hotel has everything. A perfect beachside location and right in the middle of things. The best part is the outstanding staff who can't do enough for you. Roll on next year, so that we can get back to our home from home.

I don’t have the words to describe staying at the Centara grand beach resort and villas. It is the ideal vacation spot when you want to fully relax in a beautiful environment. The grounds themselves are absolutely gorgeous, the service is top tier and something as simple as walking to breakfast (absolutely excellent breakfast btw definitely add it) brings such an inner…peace?…contentment?…love of life?…it’s hard to put a word on the feeling. But you’ll know it when you’re there. A very big thank you to the staff for making this birthday so special. ❤️
