Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin

This hotel was amazing. All the staff could not be more helpful and friendly. There is some building work being done, but it was not noticeable. The rooms are lovely. The maid who attended twice everyday was lovely and was excellent at cleaning the room. We arranged for trips to the river kwai and the elephant sanctuary from the hotel and they are both worth visiting. We saw 36 elephants. The whole holiday was worth the long trip to get there.

Centara is a grand place to stay. Old world luxury at very affordable prices. Wonderful beach side bistro, fab Japanese restaurant, The Elephant Bar is a lovely place to have a drink with music every night til midnight. Staff are wonderful - efficient and friendly. A truly wonderful place to stay.

Another fantastic stay at this magnificent hotel. We would like to thank Jan and his hotel staff for looking after us during our stay. We cannot speak highly enough of the staff that work at this great hotel. Mon, Nim, Sanim in the Elephant Bar, Mon, Nam, Pew and Bank in the Railway Restaurant and Nid and On in house keeping, just to name a few. I really fell in love with this hotel ♡ .. Let's start with the room. We received a small upgrade at the reception and were led into a beautiful room. The bed was huge, the bathroom clean and the room in general equipped with all important things .. 👍🏻 Breakfast the next morning was a dream. There was something for every taste and we could also sit outside comfortably and enjoy the rays of the sun .. ☀️ The hotel itself has two wonderful pools where you can relax. Just 1min away is the beach where we took a short walk .. 💆🏼‍♀️ Every single employee in this hotel has welcomed us with a warm joy and looked after us so lovingly. I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone I know .. ❤️ Thank you for this wonderful time .. 🥰

We are biased, as the Centara Grande Beach Resort has been our "go to" place for 25 years, sometimes visiting twice a year. We just love it. The reason we return time and time again to our "home in Thailand" are the staff, many of whom have become good friends over the years. It is their warm Thai welcome and hospitality, smiles, friendliness, professionalism, sense of fun and humour that creates an unique relaxing ambience everywhere throughout the resort. ||The resort itself is beautifully maintained with manicured, topiary gardens, great pools, well appointed comfortable rooms and good restaurants which provide a wide variety of food choices suitable for every palate, providing tasty dishes all facing onto the expansive sandy Hua Hin beach.||If you want to relax in sumptuous 5 star surroundings in the centre of Hua Hin choose the Centara Grande Beach Resort.||There is a phased renovation taking place at the resort but be reassured it is being very carefully managed and caused no disturbance at all to our enjoyment.||Grateful thanks to all at the Centara Grande Beach Resort................see you again soon.

This was our 12th visit to this hotel. It just feels as though we were returning to our second home. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially to our wheelchair user son. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Currently the hotel is going through a period of renovations wing by wing. The area they are working on currently had no impact on our stay at all. In fact you wouldn't have known it was being updated if you hadn't been told. Everyone is very friendly from the General Manager 'Jan' to the lady who cleaned our room along with 'Worn' who organised the sun beds. Breakfast we always had a certain table allocated. During our stay I had a significant birthday the hotel staff made sure it was an enjoyable day for me.

Had a wonderful week here. It was a lovely quiet week - low occupancy so never had to queue or fight for doace around the pool. |Daughter & partner flew from the UK to meet up with us. We stayed in rooms 143 & 144 with ocean views. Everything was fantastic. Staff are just BRILLIANT. Housekeeping are lovely. So smiley & helpful. Our 1st night was so special - had a birthday dinner for daughter & partner. It was the seafood buffet night at Coast. The wonderful manager (so sorry - can’t remember how to spell her name but it started with P) surprised the birthday couple with a cake & the band sang them happy birthday. Such a special night. And the table in the pagoda was BEAUTIFULLY set. So grateful. We spent a fair bit of time around the pool. The staff were very attentive - Kie, Boon (?) et al. Constantly watching to see if we needed anything. Could not do enough to make us comfortable. |The breakfasts were fantastic & staff again were sublime! Bank always had a warm smile for us. All staff were like that & are wonderful. Dream at the reception was always helpful & accomodating. We bought the Baht Booster. Not sure if we’d do that again as much is not eligible. Can’t use the money during any happy hour drinks/massages that are discounted etc). Had afternoon tea at the museum cafe (bonus with the bath booster). Would not do that again as the cakes etc did not taste the freshest - not a reflection on the wonderful staff, more about the climate I think. The venue is really nice. Coffee yummy! |Had a massage at the spa. Very professional & relaxing. (But at Sydney prices ++😢😢) Again, staff make the experience even better. |The day we checked out the hotel was expecting a huge influx of guests for a golf tournament. The restaurant & pool area were going to be closed for private practice functions & there was a stage set up right near the rooms. It would be. very noisy but I’m sure it’d be fun for the participants.
