This is an efficient, service-oriented and value for money hotel. Check-in was quick, and the lift automatically sent us to our floor after tapping in. Small conveniences like this show how much the hotel values service. Despite being on a mid-level floor, the view was splendid, and we even caught the sunset as we entered the room. Room cleaning was top-notch and extremely efficient. We stepped out for an hour-long laundry run and returned to a fully cleaned room. Using the Centara app, we made several requests, all of which were fulfilled promptly and without fuss. The room was spacious with ample space for open luggage. Water pressure was strong, and shower temperatures adjusted quickly. If I had to nitpick, I would have preferred heated toilet seats and hotter water for the bathtub, but that’s just me being picky. For tourists who intend to walk over from the railway to the hotel, although the map shows it close to Namba Station, and it is technically connected, the fast-moving crowds, numerous escalators, and travelling with luggage make the walk tedious. It is best to courier your bags ahead to the hotel and keep your hand-carry as light as possible, as the crowd here is noticeably less gracious. The venue is a stone’s throw from local establishments, such as the fish market, laundry and school. It is not too far away from the shopping cluster which leads all the way to the extremely packed Dontonburi, about 20 minutes away. Overall, a no-frills and pleasant stay. A wonderful stay at Centara Grand Osaka. The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, always greeting us with genuine smiles. Our room was impressively spacious by Japanese standards and immaculately clean. The grand lobby, with its elegant décor, sets a luxurious tone. The panoramic views of Osaka city from the room were absolutely breathtaking. While we had a 3 year old toddler with us, the hotel did everything to help us throughout our stay. The hotel's app made everything remarkably convenient. We could order in-room dining, request housekeeping, and access services directly from our phones. With most services available 24/7, the process was always quick and seamless. Honestly, the level of modern convenience alone is worth more than five stars. I was consistently impressed by the entire team's professionalism and excellent English. This was true not only at check-in but at every touchpoint: from the staff greeting us at the taxi and handling our luggage, to those answering phone inquiries, delivering in-room dining, and responding promptly to questions through the app. Even during checkout, the assistance was seamless and friendly. This is my third day staying at Centara, The hotel has good facilities and the price is reasonable for what you get. The location is also very convenient, which makes getting around Osaka easy. However, the breakfast was a big disappointment. The food quality was very poor across the board — the Thai dishes were not good, the Western options were also below average, and even the salad bar was poorly managed. Plates were often empty and not refilled in time. Compared to other hotels I have stayed at, this was honestly the worst breakfast experience I’ve had. Because of this, I’m not sure if I would choose to stay here again on my next trip to Osaka. I really hope the hotel can improve the quality and management of their breakfast service.

From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the beauty of the property, but the real highlight of this trip was, without a doubt, the magnificent view. The View & Atmosphere I booked a room with a view, and it was worth every penny. Waking up to such a mesmerizing panorama was truly a highlight of my trip. Whether it was the morning light hitting the scenery or the stunning colors during sunset, the view from my balcony was simply cinematic. It felt incredibly private and peaceful—perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. I found myself spending hours just sitting on the balcony, soaking in the atmosphere. The Room & Amenities The room itself was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. It was well-designed to maximize the scenery outside, featuring large floor-to-ceiling windows that brought the outside in. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the amenities provided were top-notch. Service & Facilities True to the Centara brand, the service was exceptional. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail, making sure my stay was flawless. The hotel facilities were also fantastic, especially the swimming pool which offered another vantage point to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in January. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were warmly welcomed by their excellent staff. Located at the end of Namba Park, its very convenient to shopping and plenty of restaurants. ||We stayed on the 20th floor which is called the Rei floor. I love their modern and contemporary decor, gives a studio feel. Compared to New York. Everything you need is a quick call away. ||I'd like to give a huge shout out to our Bellman, Risky. He was very patient and helpful with us. He assisted us with our luggage transport, which is a life saver if you are taking the Shinkansen to Tokyo. The fee is very reasonable and its delivered the next day. We both love it here at the hotel and will definitely come back!

Spent 5 nights here, excellent hotel. Location is right next to Namba station so getting around is super convenient. Hotel itself was very nice and had amazing staff. Room was very large for Japan. Breakfast was good and had a variety of foods, every morning also had some delicious Thai selections. My room was on the 26th floor and had great views of Osaka. Would definitely stay here again. Walkable to Dontonbori.

This hotel feels luxurious and cozy. The staff were phenomenal and very attentive. The location is perfect—close to shopping malls, Dotonbori, restaurants, and more. The gym is well-equipped and always empty, making workouts a pleasure. Our room had an incredible view, was spacious, super clean, and well-designed, with a shower, bathtub, slippers, and bathrobes. It was very quiet, and I had the best sleep on the comfortable bed. Breakfast did not disappoint—homemade tofu, soy milk, veggies, and fruits made it perfect for vegans.

I stayed at Centara Grand Osaka during New Year 2026, booking about a month in advance. My stay was six nights (Dec 30 – Jan 5). I chose this hotel mainly for convenience—it’s close to Namba Station, with direct airport express access from Kansai International Airport, followed by a short walk with luggage 👍 Although I usually stay near Osaka Station, this Namba location turned out to be very practical, especially for shopping and dining. As a Thai hotel chain, Centara brings a familiar Thai-style service and design, which I really appreciated. The breakfast was very good—no natto, but plenty of delicious Thai dishes. The bar on the 33rd floor has both indoor and open-air seating with a great atmosphere, though prices are on the higher side. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. There’s a gym on the 4th floor, and the hotel is surrounded by shopping areas. Overall, a convenient, comfortable, and well-located hotel—highly recommended for Osaka stays.
