Centara Villas Phuket

First, the positives - great staff who are friendly, helpful and really do their best. Location is a plus (and a minus!) Breakfast was excellent and the dining area is great.|Second, the not so positives - the whole place needs a serious overhaul. Villas need refurbishment and updating. Bedding was possibly the worst we have encountered on holiday. A further issue was the check in process. We arrived late (9pm) after a 12 hour journey in hot weather. We were exhausted but we sat in reception, completing paperwork without anyone asking how we were, how our journey had been, etc. Serious customer service issue IMO. Things did improve after this to be fair. Location allows amazing views - but makes it difficult to easily access beaches, local town, etc. Paths are a bit dodgy in places - especially down to the beach - and there is no path access to Karon Town by foot from outside the hotel. Overall, our stay was fine, but this combination of things makes me wonder whether it was the right choice. We also encountered cockroaches in the bathroom on 2 occasions! Not a pleasant experience.

We stayed at this hotel for two weeks and really enjoyed it this is our honest review ||Firstly the staff are absolutely adorable we experienced good service from Bank, Lhong,New,Bon and Ti to name just a few but literally the staff are excellent and please take time to talk to them and learn their names I saw too many people just discount them. |The breakfast is good and varied I had no problem eating although I don’t eat meat so would have like some of the dishes to be less chicken but that’s just a personal preference the food is a good spread of cuisines |I found the alcoholic drinks a bit pricey we went to the local 7-11 and bought in but alcohol in general is ok |The hotel is based on a cliff DO NOT underestimate this as I did. My husband and I go to the gym 4 times a week but we still found walking the 169 stairs to our room from the swimming pool in 38 degree heat a challenge. There is a little bus to help but there will always be some stairs so be aware of this when you book if you have any mobility issues. |The room is fine the little chalets are in need of a bit of TLC but quite lovely looking at the sea. You can use the sister hotel which is accessed by a dodgy pathway which again would challenge people not steady on their feet you can get a cab for about 200baht.Between the two hotels, on the beach, is a lovely little family run cafe called Daengs best food we had and cheapest for beer we paid. The sea view to die for. Food there is about £3 a dish freshly made. |Going into Karon town costs 200-300baht -factor this into your costs you can’t walk anywhere from the hotel really as roads are steep and very busy with no path to walk on Patong is about 400 baht one way. It soon adds up!|We booked some trips at the hotel. The lady there is lovely and very helpful |In all we had a fab time made happier by the warm greetings by staff everyday. We had the most wonderful holiday at Centara Villas, we stayed for 12 nights half board. We had a villa with a pool and I would highly recommend anyone coming here to book the same. Our room had beautiful decor and the most comfortable bed! The view from our room and pool was stunning. All our meals were very delicious and the service was superb. We were so thankful for the minibus rides in resort throughout our stay as it was so hot and as the resort is on a hillside there are a lot of steps! All the staff are extremely professional and treat you like family. Thank you so much Centara Villas for a truely memorable holiday, absolutely superb ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We stayed at Centara villas for 2 nights. Overall it was a lovely villa with grand ocean view which we really enjoyed the serene vibes. Location is slightly away from the busy area which is situated on the hill. You may need to take grab/bolt for going out to the main Karon beach side and dining area. Service is prompt as hotel provides shuttle from the lobby to your villa and vice versa. Every staff is polite and welcoming with a sincere smile on their face.Breakfast is a bit dull and they may need to upgrade their menu on a daily basis. Facility and amenity wise it has everything we ask and expect for.

An unforgettable experience at Centara Villas Phuket! You all made our stay such a wonderful experience! We will never forget your kindness, hospitality, warmth and love that you showed to us whilst we were there. Service is certainly out of this world and I can’t recommend this place enough to anybody looking for peace and quiet and views beyond views! Your private pool villa was the best thing we did for us!

Our stay at Centara villas was excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. The views are very nice however there are a lot of stairs to climb. The prices are a fair bit higher than in town but thats to be expected. All in all we had a terrific stay and would definately stay here again 4.5/5

We spend 2 weeks here and I can safely say that I’ve never had experience like this. We traveled with 1 year old and the level of kindness, respect, compassion was amazing. The staff in the hotel deserves more than 5 stars. They are amazing people and we loved every day of our stay. Rooms are beautiful, bed for adults very comfortable and baby bed as well. The resort is spotless clean, very private and relaxing. Food was absolutely amazing, definitely would recommend a massage to everyone who visits and being by the pool with full service was amazing as well. Getting to the beach was adventure but super close to the hotel. I would like to give a huge thank you to staff member Bao who was the kindness to our 1 year old daughter and to us. Thank you for being the loveliest person and for always smiling and being amazing to us.
