Centara Villas Phuket

I came here 13 years ago with my family and have many great memories of this place. Firstly the staff was super friendly and helpful, we even got to meet the hotel manager multiple times as he always checked in on his guests. The restaurant serves really good food (plus live music on some nights) and the pool area is perfect to relax, there is a bigger Centara resort at the beach below where you can also enjoy the pool area and food/drink options. The rooms themselves were very spacious and clean and the included breakfast was also great! Overall a resort that i will definitely remember and hope to return to some day!

The accommodation is located in a truly wonderful place. The pool is beautiful and the view is absolutely breathtaking. Everything is very clean, both the surroundings and the rooms, which made our stay extremely comfortable.||All members of the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. June deserves a special mention – she is exceptionally sweet and always smiling, which really made our experience even better.||There is a shuttle service available, so the many stairs are not a problem at all. You don’t need to worry about difficult access to the beach either, as the hotel has its own small shortcut where you can walk down to the beach in just 5–10 minutes. This path is open until 6 PM. Getting to the city is also very easy and quick by taxi.||Highly recommended, we would happily stay here again!

Very nice place, clean Villas (rooms) with a lot of space, nice views from the terrace, very well organized with a shuttle inside the resort that could be ordered with an internal app. Very friendly staff, good food. Wonderful view from the restaurant during dinner. Unfortunately, the 2 pools are very small and do not have enough space for sunbeds and umbrellas. This resort is very well recommended. Need to come back again (4 of 5 due to size of pool area)

A very nice stay, we were there for 4 weeks and the breakfast was varied enough that we were not bored. The restaurant staff were all very pleasant and special thanks to June and Bon. Chim and Oh were our normal cleaners and were very good. The Receptionists were fine and cheery and I even got them to joke! Rooms, Reception, Restaurant and grounds were all kept clean and tidy. Some secondary wooden structures (fencing etc) need replacing and I suspect this will be done in the low season. When hotels closed in early 2020 it was only meant to be for 3 months but it ended up being years, I suspect Centara Villas didn't reopen until late 2023 and then only partially. All credit to the staff who resurrected the hotel because it must have been a massive undertaking. A very nice hotel with great pool rooms and views, no hesitation in recommending it even for people with limited mobility as there is a shuttle service within the resort and external taxis are cheap.

Rooms are quite good, clean and big. Ac can cool the room quite fast. Brekfasts were in thai style and i liked that. Swiming pools look like there best time was fiew years ago (i think they deserve a restoration) but are still ok. The pathway to the beach is available only till 6pm so if you want to stay longer in the viliage you will have to go back by taxi, the streat has no sidewalk.

Stayed here in Dec 2025 for a few nights. Had a sea view room which was a very nice size. The bed was large and comfortable and also the bathroom was a good size. The two pool areas are quite small with not many sun beds and not all the beds had cushions and umbrellas. We did ask for some but were told there were no more available!! Breakfast was good, with a nice selection of Thai options. The hotel is a little tired in some areas and could do with a bit of an update.

Excellent location, quite but with easy access to Karon. Beautiful villas with everything you need, great Tuk Tuk service on demand around the hotel. Delicious Thai cuisine with incomparable views of Karon beach and the ocean. Special mention to all staff especially Bon who makes the best cocktails and Lhong who works tirelessly to ensure you receive a first class service!

We have had a brilliant relaxing week at Centara Villas. The staff are so helpful and kind and could not do enough for us. They are all amazing especially Bon who looked after us and supplied our refreshments. They are all amazing starting with lobby staff, tuk tuk drivers, restaurant staff, gardeners and the cleaners they have bent over backwards to make our stay very memorable. Nothing was too much of a chore for them. We are two single older ladies called Jack and Gill that travel together and have such a laugh wherever we go. But I must say Thailand has been our best holiday. We ended our last 7 days at Centara villas and we certainly did not get disappointed. When we first arrived and saw the steps we were worried but you ring for the tuk tuk driver to collect you and they take you all the way to the swimming pool area which was wonderful or to the lobby from our villa. If you want to go into Karon they will ring for a taxis to take you. We are already planning to return to the land of smiles. One thing I will say is learn hello and thank you in Thai and smile it will get you a long way and with mutual respect from staff.
