There was only one gallery at the time, the next one opens in August, it's free, and the exhibits are beautiful.

I recently visited the University of Arizona art center to look at the Linda McCarthy Retrospective. There were many different exhibits about different artists as well as postcards and books to purchase! It was beneficial to be in a building that encouraged creativity and crafts. They also had a smart policy about keeping bags out of the exhibits and provided lockers to keep them safe in the lobby

A great treat just at the heart of the campus. There are multiple art facilities located grouped together, so visiting all of them is super convenient. CCP offers free entrance. They do not let bags into the exhibition spaces, but there are lockers located at the back of the entrance area.

This place is a special little place. I loved learning about Linda McCartney and other photographers that developed cool techniques before we had Photoshop or Lightroom. True artists, makes me want to go back to the darkroom and play around. The whole thing took about 30 mins to go through, it’s small but has lots of meaningful info. I’d go back for sure. They sell great books out front too.

Lovely day visiting the Linda McCartney photo exhibit!! Thank you for making this free exhibit available to the public. Parking is a challenge ... we found a paid lot blocks away that charged by the hour.

Very nice exhibits. Many clever and creative student work as well as fine special exhibits. Entry is free of charge.

We went during the Airitam and “trees sitting in their leaves” exhibits. Very well curated and lovely spaces. Looks like there could be a lot more on display so maybe summer slowness or refurbing happening. Either way was a great space to explore the two concepts. I do recommend

Walk to destination on the U of A campus. I call this unique gallery a "hands on gallery". There is an area where the photographs are stored in drawers and visitors are encouraged to open them and pull out the work for close up study. In addition you may wander into the study area to look at photography books, take notes, and to add to the gallery's artist map. Free of charge. Flash free photography is allowed. Also available free of charge are the nearby coat check lockers. Staff are friendly and approachable.
