Center for Folk Art Production

The museum has two floors; at the time of visit the temporary exhibition on the second floor features the blacksmithing. Farming tools, candle-holders and decorative objects were displayed. The first floor has a extensive collection of Slovak handicraft works and are more unique in style than those around the main square of the old town. It is also a place to find traditional Slovak clothing for the ladies, but alas, guys would not be so lucky. Got a doll as shown in the attached picture and we love it!

Closed on Saturday ! What a pity really, it seems great place. It is really strange to be close on week ends in a city which has many tourist !!!

Купувала тут сувеніри, дуже дорого відносно цін інших країн, але мабуть в Словатчині так всюди, бо в Україні ціни в 2-3 рази дешевші.Але вироби є гарні.
