It was a nice stay there. This is very close to the city centre. So it is convenient to walk to tourist places such as Red Square and Kremlin. Many restaurants, pubs and shops are in the close vicinity of this hostel. In addition, the staff is helpful. They maintain cleanliness there. It is a big hostel and they are managing it very well. Moreover, its tariff is quite affordable. They don’t provide shampoo or conditioner.

Very nice hostel/hotel in central Moscow. The staff wasn’t much to speak of and doesn’t have to be either I guess since it is very popular. The location is unbeatable, nice kitchen and price is very reasonable.

The only positive thing was that the bed was comfortable and the hotel/hostel was well located. Unfortunately, everything else was terrible. The internet was extremely bad — impossible for someone who works online. When I politely asked the receptionist (a young blond lady, normally there in the morning and evening) if I could use the common area to work, the staff was so rude with me and refused. I don’t understand why they are all the time angry and they look at you that way!! I booked a private studio, but the hair dryer was broken, the TV didn’t work, and the microwave and kettle had no outlet nearby, so I had to drag them around the room just to use them. The common areas were even worse: people were literally sleeping on the couches (during night/day), there was a small cockroach in the kitchen, and the smell of shoes and feet everywhere was unbearable. The place was messy and clearly not maintained. On top of that, there are people living there who act like they are in charge and treat guests badly. The receptionist’s (the girl I mentioned before) behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. Overall, this is one of the worst hostel/hotel experiences I’ve ever had — I would never recommend staying here.

I googled the place before go, reviews said the receptionist are bad - but to me they're quit ok compared other local people. I've met Rissians are rude, aggressive, they lie to people because you're stranger and they don't know you. Here the staff is ok, they're just Russian, and you get to know people after time. they're like 8 on marks compared of all Russians in terms of service. laundry they charge. another Russian manner I don't feel good.

They cancelled my booking with no prior notification. When I arrived, they did not provide any solutions, but instead the front desk staff was rude. I lost 4 hours trying to figure out if I was going to be able to get my refund from the website I booked it from.

The location is perfect because it is in the city center and walking distance to the Red Square and many more attractions. The man at the reception counter was rude to me when I checked in. I don't know if it was because it was late at night (10 PM) when I checked in, but he seemed visibly irritated when I asked simple questions and made me feel like I was a burden to him. It was my first night of stay in Moscow and I felt that I wasn't welcome.

The room was clean and tidy. The entrance is very bad and old. It scary. There was luggage and stuff in the entrance. The hotel is in the 4th floor. We were 4 persons and the room has 1 bed. Not for families at all.

- If you are not proficient in Russian, choose this hotel carefully. Although the location is very good, opposite the Budapest Hotel, it is equivalent to a youth hostel. The bad thing is that the female front desk attendant inside has a very bad attitude. If you can't communicate in Russian, it's a bit grumpy. In addition, the front desk is not online 24 hours a day.
