I really wanted to like this place. Looked good at first, but the safety lock on the door was partially broke loose and jiggling. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling. No shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom. Room was small but adequate. The AC was actually great. No microwave. Fridge must work because it froze everything I put in it. Bad part was the front office/ lobby/ downstairs smelled like weed. Also, both nights there was loud banging that woke me up. It was bad enough that I finally called front desk and they said they didn't hear anything. Would be a fine place with fixes.

Wasn’t expecting great but was less than good, not horrible. Water came out of tap not clear at first and cleared up after a bit. Didn’t update their information about not offering breakfast. Rooms were hot even with air on coldest settings and I’m not usually hot. Smelled of weed really bad.

Very quiet. Dated, but very comfortable bed. No amenities to speak off. Just a place to sleep after your adventures at the Falls or other attractions.

I was walking quietly with my children near the hotel when a woman came outside and started talking to us in a raised voice, demanding that we leave. We were not making noise or causing any trouble — just walking calmly. I tried to explain that we were just with kids and not disturbing anyone, but she kept standing there, watching us until we left. Even if we were near hotel property, it would have been enough to politely ask. But the tone and attitude were completely inappropriate. This was an unpleasant and disrespectful experience, and it left a very negative impression of the place.

Google
Its an older hotel. Service was great room was clean. House keepers here are very nice snd helpful. Service desk very friendly, took time to help me find it. Thank you if im in the area I will be back.

Google
Peeling wall paper revealed mold, moldy smell, dirty window that doesn’t open. Yellowed plastic sink - but pretty clean otherwise. Awful location next to highway and high tension wires. Nice greeter at checkin.

If your looking for a discounted rate hotel with multiple things not working in your room and housekeeping walking right into your room early morning/afternoon without knocking this is the place for you, expect very little shower water pressure, broken bathroom exhaust fan, a mini fridge that hardly keeps bottled water cold, no microwave in room and expect to pay $114- $200 plus on the weekends starting Friday thru Sunday, oh and most of all a unresponsive service desk clerk on Saturday morning with only one response to anything - ' you have to call the manager on Monday " I cant do anything" Very professional establishment enjoy your stay!

Google
Ok. I'm usually extremely picky with hotel rooms. I've waltzed out of many in just one night looking for something acceptable until i realized budget hotels never again. Well i was super tired and this place wasn't far. I gave it a chance. Customer service was friendly n inviting. At $69.00 you get what you pay for. In this case we got a small cozy outdated room. It was clean!! I say again....a clean budget room. Non smoking. No odors, mold , or bugs. Mirrors smudge free. I was pleased. Bed was to soft my only complaint. 🍻 👏

Yelp
Scary place to stay. As a fire alarm installer, I've noticed their system does not meet current life safety codes and does not appear to be regularly maintained/inspected. In-room 120vac smoke detectors are well beyond their 10 year lifespan and need to be replaced. On a lesser note, the place is EXTREMELY OUTDATED (frozen in the early '90s). Very dark parking lot. No elevator on site so you have to drag your heavy ass bags up the stairs. They don't give you any shampoo or conditioner. No longer offer any breakfast. My alarm clock was the smell of cigarette smoke and a guy hocking a loogie for a minute straight. The place got the job done and I've heard there are worse hotels in the Buffalo area, but my god I wouldn't recommend this place. Please stay somewhere both more up to date, and safer for that matter.

Yelp
Absolutely disgusting and cost us 144$ We walked in the room and said, "no way - we can't stay here" the smell is horrific, the lights are buzzing and blinking, there is this long dark colored mirror behind the bed that did not pass the fingertip test. It appears to be a two way mirror. We spoke with Doug at the front desk who was perfectly nice, but acted like he's never heard a complaint about the rooms before. He let us look at another room which was just as bad if not worse. Listen, if it was 80$ I wouldn't bother with this review but it was 144$ So now I feel scammed. They got the money and we didn't get to sleep. They have other vacancies so clearly, we didn't cost them to lose anything. Any decent place would have refunded us since we literally walked in and walked out.

Yelp
The lady at the desk was very pleasant and check-in was a breeze. Pros: decent shower, great AC/heat bedside, super nice and helpful front desk, loads of food within a couple of minutes, far enough off main roads so you don't hear traffic. Cons: no elevator, dimly lit parking lot, bed wasn't very comfortable, bring your own toiletries because shower stuff isn't provided. I would definitely stay here again if we make it back up to Niagara Falls. It is loads cheaper than the hotels that are closer and it's only about a 20 minute drive to the falls.

Yelp
This dive would not be worth your money if it was free. Leave your nose at home unless you like the smell of second-hand smoke mixed with a variety of vape that smells like pot, and skunk. Sleep in your car first.

Yelp
This hotel should be burned to the ground and replaced with a campsite and a 24 hour bowling alley; either of which would provide a better night's rest. Sticky, smells like bug spray, and there is no elevator. The lighting was horrible, probably to mask the dirt, but you know it's dirty because you can feel yourself sticking to things. The smell in particular was a problem, and made me wonder what type of cancer this place would give me. It permeated everything, I even dreamed of working at a toxic waste facility. In fairness this was the cheapest room available within 50 miles after 9PM, but it was still $125, and it was absolutely horrible. I have never said good things about this part of NY, and I would suspect some level of corruption for these high prices and poor sanity standards.

Yelp
Center Way? I don't think so... Out of The Way is a better description, and that's what makes the place great. When everything in the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area was booked up... Center Way came through. Big clean rooms... the large one with a couch that sleeps one extra. Desk clerks were friendly and tolerant of our late check-in and late check-out. The only problem was that the five of us had to book two rooms, even though there was plenty of space for 5 in either of them. That's twice as expensive as we had been paying until then. But for the only vacancy in the area, it wasn't too bad. Except for that, this place is a hidden gem. It's the last to fill up during the busy season, and close enough to both Niagara Falls AND Buffalo to let you enjoy either.

Yelp
We have stayed here twice now. The rooms are clean and comfortable. A bit small but perfectly serviceable. A room for a week or so doesn't have to be huge. The staff is courteous and friendly. The free breakfast is decent. There are lots of restaurants in the area. We will stay here in our future visits to Buffalo.

Yelp
Wow was going to stay here for the weekend but after reading the "GM"'s responses to people's valid complaints there is know way I would give my business to a place that allows the staff to treat customers that way. Wow! I'm truly in shock after reading those extremely offensive reviews. Please if you read this do not support this establishment!

Yelp
We stayed here for 1 night during Memorial day weekend and I'm so grateful it was just 1 night because nobody in our party would have been able to handle more. We paid $150 each for 2 rooms perhaps because of the weekend but no price would be low enough for the conditions of the rooms. The room smelled. The carpet , the sheets, the electronics ... everything in the hotel is old and dirty. There was a huge stain on our sheets, pubic hair in the bath tub. The evening receptionist female was not even friendly, the morning receptionist male was friendly at least. The breakfast is not worth your time. Overall worst experience ever. Stay away unless the hotel makes significant upgrades.

Yelp
Checked in last night had a smaller room with queen size bed, TV, air, continental breakfast. Room and bathroom were clean and up to date. It's a simple room but served the purpose, sleep, shower, muffin, bagel, juice, coffee. The basics.......

Yelp
The sleeping area looked clean at first, but upon further inspection, I saw along the baseboards, that it was apparent that they hadn't cleaned there in quite some time. There was an upholstered desk chair with numerous stains on it. There were stains on the sheets. The towels were soft. Bring your own soap and shampoo, as they only leave a wafer of soap and no other amenities. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was impeccably clean. The wifi never worked in the three nights I was there. Even when I could get connected, it was slower than 4g. I'd never stay here again.

Yelp
So I was a little weary at first sight because the interior seems so dated. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and talkative. The type that make you feel right at home. One of the first things I do in hotels is check the sheets and mattress for cleanliness and bugs. All good there. The sheets were clean and so was the room. Bathroom was immaculate. Bed was very comfy. Breakfast was your typical continental spread. My only complaint is that the hotel is dated. There was a tube TV in the room. But all in all the value is there for the price. (The lowest cost I could find in the area).

Yelp
Having been a guest at the majority of 1,2 & 3 star hotels in the Buffalo area in the past year, I would say I have a good idea of what the area has to offer, and the standard of service one can expect when traveling on a budget. Centerway Hotel is indeed a hidden gem - after over a year of researching and staying in hotels I had not even heard of this one until my boyfriend and I were in desperate need of a place to stay on a Friday night when even the scummiest hotel on Niagara Falls Blvd was at least $100/room. I called and the very patient man at the front desk reassured me he would hold a room for us, despite our late check-in. The damage? Only $80 ! Anyone who stays in hotels on a regular basis knows that is a steal on a Friday night when even 1 star motels can afford to jack up their prices. And better yet, as we soon found out, the Centerway Hotel was leagues above any similarly priced hotel in the area. Yes, it is a little dated, the rooms are not what you would see in a shiny new cookie cutter motel -but they were unique and we liked them. Comfortable bed, clean sheets. A cushioned window seat which could be used as a bed or for relaxing. Bathroom was spotless when we arrived. Wi-Fi worked the majority of the time , and when it didn't there was an ethernet port available to connect a laptop. Housekeeping was friendly and eager to accommodate any of our needs. For those complaining about the breakfast- most hotels at a similar price will offer you stale coffee, maybe a tea bag if you're lucky ; we agreed that even out of motels that offered a "continental breakfast " Centerway Hotel has the best : fresh Danish, muffins, bagels, real oatmeal and grits, multiple types of cereal, spreads, etc. Yes you could get a better breakfast in a restaurant but for a free breakfast you can't beat this one! We were also pleased with the vending area, which had a wide assortment of goodies including ice cream, frozen "meals" and snacks in addition to the usual vending fare of pop juice and dry snacks. We felt very safe at this hotel-the doors from the outside could only be accessed by key card, the halls were quiet, we didn't see a single "sketchy " person and we stayed for well over a week. The staff was friendly helpful and accommodating. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with the value of this hotel for the price. While some aspects were dated, I would not describe this place as "dingy" -it was bright clean and comfortable. To anyone who isn't convinced, I challenge you to spend a weekend night or two on Niagara Falls Blvd, try Red Carpet Inn or Royal Inn - pay over $100 for a truly smelly filthy room with holes in the sheets ,doors with no locks that go straight outside, and lucky if they don't kick you out before you grab a meager cup of coffee in the morning - and tell me Centerway Hotel isn't awesome !

Yelp
Honestly, me and gf had a very pleasant experience here. The staff was amazing and very compassionate. The hotel is located in a safe area. It was pretty clean and also provide a free amenities like a continental breakfast, free coffee and use of a microwave. I would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
Wifi simply did not work. Hallway stank of old cigarettes. Requested a non smoking room. Was told I was getting one. Maid told me no it was not non smoking. Felt ill all evening...bad allergies. Motel is dated. Room very tiny. Noisy water pipes. Pillows flat and hard. No one answered my phone calls to the front desk. Prices advertised as low as $51 on their outdoor sign. I paid $80 and booked on line through booking.com. Manager gave me a name to call of "corporate office" owner to complain and the name turned out to be not the corporate office, as indicated, but the actual motel itself...Manager claimed not to be the owner, but in fact was the owner. His answer to my complaints was that I should have moved to a different hotel if I didn't like it.

Yelp
Firstly, I want to say that the manager at the front desk was bending over backwards to please the people in front of me. Excellent customer service. The hotel though was LOUD and packed. The furnishings were very early 90's, and it seemed like it could have been cleaner. The linens were clean but well worn. It was very noisy the whole time. There was a decent breakfast spread- bagels, english muffins, cereal, etc. The bed was comfortable, but the hotel just seemed dingy and dated. I would not be interested in staying here again.
