Central Bed & Breakfast, Kolkata

We were very pleased with our stay here, as a family of 5 we had 2 separate rooms. It was clean and felt safe, the staff were friendly and responsive, great breakfast. Good location easy walk to park street.

Very handy place to base yourself in Kolkata. Rooms are large, clean and well equiped. Breakfast is delicious. Really happy with the quick responses from Mr Jayant and the advice received. Recommended.

They were very flexible and accommodating when it came to payment as due to international payment restrictions I could only pay in person. Jayant & Vidushi were very easy to deal with throughout the booking process. Unfortunately I had to change my trip dates to Kolkata last minute, hopefully one day I will make it there.

Not a very friendly host.||Breakfast is limited to idli/poha/upma( Any one is cooked based on demand) + omelette + tea.||Booked the property directly with the host.||Cost for extra persons in room:||Adult: 1000 per night||7 year old kid: 1000 per night||3 year old kid: 700 per night||||Was a bit annoyed hearing the extra charges for kids.||Reason for extra charge for kids: They follow same policy as Airlines :). Guys are you running a hotel or an airline. I have never heard for these kind of charges for kids stay in a hotel.||||The host did not want us to use the table tennis (TT) table, which had been exaggerated as a recreational activity while booking.||||The silver lining was the domestic help Sanjay and his partner, who were quite good at their job.

This place is a jewel. You can’t beat the location, the rooms and common area are immaculate, new, and well-cared for. The staff and management is top-notch. We felt like we were staying with family (in the best way).||Breakfast was simple, but delicious.||If you want to feel at home, with all the amenities of a quality hotel, this is the place. We loved our stay. Extra points for catering to our children. Very child friendly.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay & Hospitality! We had a wonderful stay at Central Bed and Breakfast, Kolkata. Mr. Jayant is an excellent host—warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist. The apartment was very comfortable, and the staff was courteous and helpful. We booked our stay here as a family while visiting Kolkata for our U.S. visa interview. Mr. Jayant went out of his way to offer us his own car and driver for an early 7:30 AM drop-off at the U.S. Consulate, which was truly kind and thoughtful. We highly appreciate their extended hospitality and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and homely stay in Kolkata. Thank you, Mr. Jayant, for making our experience so smooth and pleasant!

We took the whole apartment and had about 12 guests from various parts of the country and ages. They All felt very comfortable and had a great time.||The upkeep was great and staff was very helpful. They were also flexible. ||Strongly recommend.

Me and my partner came here for 3 nights after a very disappointing experience in an other hotel. We arrived early, way before check in time, and they did their best to get the room ready for us. The room respond to all western high modern standards (toilets, shower, AC, tv etc) They even have a filtration air system in each room. This place look like an huge apartment that someone turned into a hotel, so it feel like home. Very nice view on the city with wall size windows in the living room and rooms. Loads of board games in commun area. The staff is not always present but they are very reactive on WhatsApp. I used the laundry service and my clothes had a nice smell and nicely fold. Highly recommend for a luxurious comfortable stay !
