Central Bed & Breakfast, Kolkata

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay & Hospitality! We had a wonderful stay at Central Bed and Breakfast, Kolkata. Mr. Jayant is an excellent host—warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist. The apartment was very comfortable, and the staff was courteous and helpful. We booked our stay here as a family while visiting Kolkata for our U.S. visa interview. Mr. Jayant went out of his way to offer us his own car and driver for an early 7:30 AM drop-off at the U.S. Consulate, which was truly kind and thoughtful. We highly appreciate their extended hospitality and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and homely stay in Kolkata. Thank you, Mr. Jayant, for making our experience so smooth and pleasant!

We took the whole apartment and had about 12 guests from various parts of the country and ages. They All felt very comfortable and had a great time.||The upkeep was great and staff was very helpful. They were also flexible. ||Strongly recommend.

This place is a jewel. You can’t beat the location, the rooms and common area are immaculate, new, and well-cared for. The staff and management is top-notch. We felt like we were staying with family (in the best way).||Breakfast was simple, but delicious.||If you want to feel at home, with all the amenities of a quality hotel, this is the place. We loved our stay. Extra points for catering to our children. Very child friendly.

Jayant is a nice host and very helpful. He responds quickly when I have any questions or need assistance. Since I booked the B&B, he communicated with me frequently to arrange my stay, even when I arrived Kolkata at 3:00am. He trusts me for not paying by wired transfer in advance due to my country's regulation. When I arrived without any India rupees, he accepted my payment with US dollars. He also changed some money for me (with a far better rate than the airport). |I stayed in the B&B for 5 days. There were breakfast prepared on-site with fresh cooked omelet, fried rice and toast. They also served juice, coffee and fruits. |As a foreigner, water is always an issue. In the facility, there is a water purifier which produces drinkable water. During my stay in Kolkata, I did not spend a dime to purchase bottled water.|The location is good. It is waking distance to a metro station and many major attractions. The place is also safe and not far away from restaurants. |On the day I left and headed to the airport, the Uber driver had an argument on fare with me. I called Jayant, and he solved the problem in no time. Very impressive!|In summary, it is worth the value staying there. Highly recommended.

Really fantastic stay. Great facilities, Clean, nice attentive staff eager to help out, WIFI really good. Breakfast nice. Safe, quiet and good area. Really recommandable.

Me and my partner came here for 3 nights after a very disappointing experience in an other hotel. We arrived early, way before check in time, and they did their best to get the room ready for us. The room respond to all western high modern standards (toilets, shower, AC, tv etc) They even have a filtration air system in each room. This place look like an huge apartment that someone turned into a hotel, so it feel like home. Very nice view on the city with wall size windows in the living room and rooms. Loads of board games in commun area. The staff is not always present but they are very reactive on WhatsApp. I used the laundry service and my clothes had a nice smell and nicely fold. Highly recommend for a luxurious comfortable stay !

Due to a sudden staff shortage on May 1st, we were unable to accommodate guests, but they responded sincerely to our suggestions for alternative accommodations.|I didn't stay at this property so I can't review the facilities, but communication with the staff and owner was excellent - I was able to get in touch with them quickly via Whatsapp and had a great time in Kolkata.

Excellent host who is quick to respond via WhatsApp and incredibly helpful with any questions. ||Room and apartment are clean, modern and have great WiFi and AC. Included breakfast was good also.||Location is well located and easy to get around central areas of Kolkata. Highly recommended!
