Recommended if you want a one-stop, trustworthy, air‑conditioned shopping experience stocked with quality Indian crafts— without the stress of bargaining or authenticity doubts. Be aware that prices are higher due to their fair‑trade model, packaging, and convenience; export logistics may not always be seamless in rare cases.

Its one of my favorite places to buy traditional gifts from. I used to frequent the place with my colleagues from abroad to showcase our rich handicrafts in one stop shop displaying beautiful artifacts from all over India. They used to lap it all up, one pf them buying even silk curtains and kashmiri carpets (i wonder how much custom duty she paid for the extra weight) Be it kitchenware (gold plated, silver, brass, copper vessels), or chandan wooden items(idols, chessboards, rosaries), clothes, beautiful bedcovers, cushion covers, mats, amazing range of purses in all colors and sizes made from cotton and silk, intricately carved furniture, silver jewellery, ...every artefact tells a story of its native place edging you to take home a piece of our rich heritage.... its an all together different experience even if i don’t buy anything...just admiring the vast display of best of Indian handicrafts, spread over 4 floors makes my day. A must visit place especially to buy a unique gift for someone special!

The Emporium is located at just opposite of Janpath Metro station. It's a government venture and authentic place to buy souvenir items. Authentic and traditional Indian handicrafts materials including statue, cloths, wooden handicrafts, exquisite furniture, beautiful paintings are available here with an antique touch. Though items here seems expensive but looking at the craft work done, materials used and the unique design it seems reasonable. Overall a must visit to experience and collect beautiful artwork.

Central cottage industries emporium is a unique place to showcase arts, handicrafts alongside various cotton made products. It’s finest crafts with an assurance of authencity, beauty and value, setting standards in aesthetics and design. The emporium showcases the finest crafts from all over India under one roof ranging from exquisite sculptures, paintings, artifacts, metal ware, woodcraft, pottery, stoneware & marble craft, branded Bankura silver, carpets, furniture, furnishings, home linen, sarees, ready to wear, accessories, jewellery, craft items, herbal products and much more. Each product is unique reflecting the traditional myths, folklores, religious beliefs, cultural ethos and rich heritage of India. Also cottage is largely instrumental in creating traditional handicrafts and handlooms into high fashion goods to suit modern usage while retaining the basic ethnic values. It has also engaged itself with craft clusters in different parts of the country for providing marketing support to the product development. Cottage has also been playing major role in the revival of languishing crafts. Something unique and perfect blend of various parts of 🇮🇳 made gems, jewellery to showcase rich Indian traditions.

It’s a good place to buy souvenirs (and it seemed to me furniture though my goal was buying gifts). There is definitely variety in this several floors shop. Of course if you have the option to buy the handcrafted products from their original locations, you can get better quality for a cheaper price, but being in delhi and needing a nice collection while enjoying the AC and avoiding the bargaining rituals , this shop is a nice choice. Also, as i was filling up my basket, I could give them the finalized items and get a receipt to hold onto, continue my shopping and pay for everything at the end and get my stuff. Definitely lightened my shopping burden today!

Have been visiting this place since college. It’s a collector’s paradise, with every indian art and crafts available under one roof. A must visit for all who wish to shop indian crafts. From beautiful paintings, murals, Kashmiri carpets, furniture, decor items, furnishings, candles, fragrances and many more things to choose from. Thank you

It's strategically located, ideal place to buy good quality premiums handicrafts. Prices are definitely not competitive and bit more then usual. Variety and choices are restricted. Discounts are very less. Nicely arranged. Some of the staff were Pro, while few were very unsuitable for the job. Need to be more professional. Proper packaging for my purchase was NOT available so I had to leave without it. Courier services to destination are also not available. Kids and senior citizens friendly. I will definitely give a thumbs up for this outlet however it needs aggressive marketing and staff.

One of the many iconic buildings designed by master architect Raj Rewal and well known for its column free large spaces inside owing to a very unique structural design. The building houses craft sourced from all the states across India, beautiful home decor items and a great range of drapery plus furniture. If you are looking to gift or re-furnish, then this is a must visit.
