Recommended if you want a one-stop, trustworthy, air‑conditioned shopping experience stocked with quality Indian crafts— without the stress of bargaining or authenticity doubts. Be aware that prices are higher due to their fair‑trade model, packaging, and convenience; export logistics may not always be seamless in rare cases.

I got this wall hanging from Jaisalmer for 500 and here the price was 9500. Very exorbitantly priced things. I would not recommend going to buy. Yes you can see what’s around. I love such handicrafts things but here everything is very expensive. I don’t know why this place has such good reviews.

Very expensive & inferior quality. When I bought this Buddha in 1997 from Mysore, the quality of items was much better and a fraction of the price. It’s a shame that mass production has led to this.

In this shop you will find mostly genuine pieces at a fair price. The employes will also not chase you in order to make a purchase. The quality of the items differ and if you want something really nice you will pay premium. Variety is also limited.

It was extremely disappointing and disheartening. I paid for a painting that was supposedly reserved for me. After weeks of communication and coordination. I remain dumbfounded, with utter chaos. They can not find the reserved merchandise. I spent hours of my valuable time and energy. I remain extremely disheartened. I would not recommend this place in particular, should you opt to order for shipment overseas. It is unreliable and most of the staff are over 60... a place where customer service is not their priority. Disgraceful, that they associate themselves with the government .

The Emporium is located at just opposite of Janpath Metro station. It's a government venture and authentic place to buy souvenir items. Authentic and traditional Indian handicrafts materials including statue, cloths, wooden handicrafts, exquisite furniture, beautiful paintings are available here with an antique touch. Though items here seems expensive but looking at the craft work done, materials used and the unique design it seems reasonable. Overall a must visit to experience and collect beautiful artwork.

Great quality stuff and All India handicraft items, you may feel expensive but if you are a foreigner you will find very reasonable but for Indians it's very expensive.

Its one of my favorite places to buy traditional gifts from. I used to frequent the place with my colleagues from abroad to showcase our rich handicrafts in one stop shop displaying beautiful artifacts from all over India. They used to lap it all up, one pf them buying even silk curtains and kashmiri carpets (i wonder how much custom duty she paid for the extra weight) Be it kitchenware (gold plated, silver, brass, copper vessels), or chandan wooden items(idols, chessboards, rosaries), clothes, beautiful bedcovers, cushion covers, mats, amazing range of purses in all colors and sizes made from cotton and silk, intricately carved furniture, silver jewellery, ...every artefact tells a story of its native place edging you to take home a piece of our rich heritage.... its an all together different experience even if i don’t buy anything...just admiring the vast display of best of Indian handicrafts, spread over 4 floors makes my day. A must visit place especially to buy a unique gift for someone special!
