"Manege’s building underwent several radical reconstructions and was established as a museum since 1977. Yet the existence of Manege stayed unknown for young generation until 2016 when the museum had a grand reopening with a new conception and freshly rebuild interior. It is now exhibiting modern and contemporary arts from all over the world. The museum has no a main exposition but changes completely when hosting an external one. Very pleasant experience, modern arts exhibition and souvenir shop with a lot of interesting books, as a plus there’s a cafe. Wasn’t crowded, if you want to go without much people around choose weekdays. You need to buy a ticket online in advance now though.

Very nice hall with large internal space and mezzanine. The current exhibition of modern digital art is cool, but not as impressive as the stuff in Erarta for instance. The personnel is simply amazing, and it goes not only to the guides, but also to the security dudes. Using QRs scattered around, you are able to access the relevant information with audio and even download an app for augmented reality items. Some pieces are interactive, some are pretty mediocre, but coming here is strongly recommended.

Loft looks great after reconstruction. Simple, comfortable, stylish. I visited it for a russian modern art exhibit so it was really good. They also have a long-term exhibition plan.
