Location is excellent: just a couple of minutes away from the central station. While the twin rooms are a bit small, the 8- or 6-bed rooms are nice. The interior is a bit old-fashioned but not ugly. Showers are relatively clean; however, don't expect any privacy: the cabins are transparent. The breakfast buffet for 4 euros is unlimited - nothing fancy but adequate for the price. 2 vegan spreads were offered upon request. The guest kitchen is fully-featured, and coffee/tea is free (sometimes other food as well). The common room has a kicker table and a couple of fun games. The atmosphere is friendly. Overall, I would recommend for an affordable, good basic place to stay.

Okay for what you pay. The shared bathrooms are cleaned daily, though not very thoroughly. The beds are fine. I slept very well! The location is great really near the train station, so no lugging your bags across town. The center is right on the other side of the station, so easy to reach by foot. One note, if you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs... The building is old and you hear every door opening and closing and every step someone takes on the stairs throughout the whole house. I didn't try the breakfast (too close to good German bakeries :) ).

Best thing about this hostel- the staff. Very welcoming, knowledgeable, and friendly. The rooms and bathrooms are nice and clean. A kitchen is open to guests who wish to cook. Great location- same street as the main train station and only a short walk to the city center. Would stay here again.

I arrived at night w/o problem due their 24 hrs reception. The staff was polite and explained to me everything that had to be done before I checked out. The installations were clean and my sheets and towels were on the bed I slept. There are several sockets next to each bed so you can load all your devices. They offer breakfast for 4EUR but one can always use their kitchen for free. Only thing I didn't like was the prohibition of sleeping bags. I would totally come back for all of the above and the location near the central station is an awesome plus!

Very decent hostel, totally value for money. 6 bed female dorm was a good experience... met some good people. The hostel staff are friendly. Please note that the building is old and doesn't havr an elevator. My room was on the 2nd floor ... I decided to leave my suitcase at the check in (racks are available where you can leave your luggage). The kitchen is clean and has necessary utensils. You can use the refrigerator and an oven and microwave is available. Each floor has separate ladies and gents WC. Overall a reasonably comfortable stay!

The hostel has a good location near to the Hauptbahnhof of Leipzig. It is only around 3 or 5 minutes walking, which is really convenient for travelers. The attention of the personnel was nice and normal as any other accommodation service. Here you have to leave an ID as a deposit for the key, so better to take care of it, or it could be expensive if you lose the key. One thing I didn't like is that you have to pay for the blankets, if you bring your own then you don't have that charge. The room was a 6 person one, it was big enough, but the heating was not so good, so the room got a bit cold during the night. I recommend this place for a short trip in Leipzig.

Very nice place, such a lovely staff! The place itself is very clean, rooms and common spaces. Free WiFi working even in my room (first floor). A nice kitchen to cook. The decoration is also super cool. Great experience :) and very close to the centre!

I spent one night in this hostel with 5 friends. Our room was big and clean, we could play tabletop football and we really liked the atmosphere in this hostel. The girl at the reception was extremely nice and kind, she was also available and willing to help. I would recommend this hostel to everyone.

I liked this hostel and would stay there anytime again. The people that work there were very friendly and helpful. I rented a bed in a mixed 4-bed room. I guess if you are by yourself, want more privacy, and plan to stay longer than one night you should rent a room with fewer beds. Besides that, the room and bathrooms (for women) were very clean. They provide sheets and towels. I really liked that they have a patio, where I enjoyed a cigarette after a strenuous 12 hour flight + 6 hour train travel to Germany. (I hate Deutsche Bahn - they are late and unreliable.) Moreover, they have a common area with TV, several tables and chairs, and (YES!) free WiFi. Also, they have a kitchen where you can cook your own food, which is awesome especially if you stay longer. Really, this hostel is one of the best I've ever stayed in. It is within walking distance to the train station and close to central Leipzig - so no worries about that either. Ok, that's it.
