Central Hostel

Really nice, cozy place to stay in for a short trip to Bordeaux as a solo trip, does not matter if it is a business or vacation trip, people are respectful and kind inside the rooms but also the staff (24/7 service). The common restrooms/showers were clean and ready to be used by customers. Really nice location (at the heart of Bordeaux city). It is a must to stay in if you are looking for “quality-price” ratio. The check-in process via website and its complement when arriving at the hostel is really quick. The checkout process, quick also. I also experience to stay in the check-in/check-out room before my checkout process, and a really nice woman employee (at the morning turn), had really nice vibes, really good music taste, and giving her best to provide the hostel’s offered services to customers.

Great location at the heart of Bordeaux. It has a great reception and lobby area. The wifi works find and fast. The showers were always clean. It only has one washing machine and one dryer in the laundry room. The carpets in the hall could be cleaner. Other than that is an excellent option at a great price!

I LOVED the Central! Fantastic place, full of old world charm and history, with a funky mix of nouveau chic (whatever that means) adorning the margins, although never interfering with the archaic decor. Great folks working here, always smiling and helpful, ready to assist with any request. The dorm / rooms / suites were the most stylish and capacious of ANY I've ever stayed in, in all of my travels. And all at very good economic value. I would HIGHLY recommend this place, and will definitely stay here next time I'm in LaRochelle. Au revoir a la gang.

Central hostel was the best part about my stay in Bordeaux. 10/10 for it's location, hospitality and rooms. They were so accommodating with my late check-in requests. The staff was so helpful. A big shout-out to Idris for being so kind and patient with my questions. The bathrooms and toilets were clean, the beds were so soft, and they even had a privacy curtain for each of us in our dorms. I absolutely enjoyed my stay here and I would love to be back soon!

This centrally located spot is a gem! The staff is incredibly friendly, the rooms are convenient, and being right in the heart of the city is unbeatable. However, if you're seeking a more hostel-like atmosphere, you might find it a tad lacking in that regard. Nonetheless, it's still a fantastic place to stay.

Overall great stay for my 2 nights in Bordeaux! The rooms were small but you are given your own bed with a curtain that allows you to feel like you have your own space even in a dorm. Great central location for getting around as well. I would have loved to see more of a social atmosphere as you feel very isolated. Possibly some in-hostel night activities would be awesome to see (pub quizzes etc.) Nonetheless would recommend!

Only upside was the location and friendly staff Rooms are super cramped with no room to properly access the luggage (Both the 6 person and 8 preson) Wierd smells in the dorms and the bathroom areas were allways not really clean

One of the best hostels I've stayed in, the rooms are great, with fantastic privacy and very clean too. The staff are phenomenal maybe nit the best recommendations for my taste but still LOVELY people especially Idris who was an incredible host during the nights. The location is flawless perfectly central allowing everything to be withing walking distance. 10/10 experience would book again.
