In my opinion the only thing going for this hotel is location. I have worked in the travel business for many yrs. Firstly don't book a courtyard room, You are literally 2 feet away from the rooms opposite. with a very dark room. I was only staying 3 nights so wasn't the end of the world. I did ring down to reception and enquired about this, and was informed that was what I had booked, I was more than happy to pay to upgrade however I was literally cut off before having time to explain to them that I wasn't happy with the bathroom in the room . I would like to add I didn't book the room, my work did. So honestly if you're thinking of going pay extra for the room. I went down to reception and had to show photos, the room was 211 for reference. we were then offered a different room 509, In this one the shower head was literally hanging off the wall, I couldn't be bothered to go back, as i wanted to start my day. |Reception staff, especially the guy with black rimmed glasses was very rude and abrupt when we were asking for guidance on transportation. Think that's been the least help I have ever been given in over 30 odd yrs in my job from reception staff. The girls on reception seemed nicer and more helpful in my opinion. There was a really lovely barman waiter at the roof top bar in the afternoon when we went up there. The breakfast was ok but nothing to write home about. However you cannot fault the location about 10 minutes walk to Acropolis & many other tourist sites.
