Central Hotel - Bar, Bistro, Gaming & Accommodation

Good value, comfortable bed. Clean. Would stay again. 2 things you MUST know. 1) The accomodation is at the top of a fair flight of steps. No offer to help with bags 2) quite a lot of noise comes up from the bar. Lucky I wasn't there on band nights. They close at reasonable hours, though.

For a pub, the room was excellent. The initial customer service first impression wasn't great.... I'm here to check into accommodation? "Go over there". Actual pub looks pretty uneventful but i was here for accommodation and overall that was good.

Very convenient spot in the centre of hobart, I'm not a gambler so I didn't take advantage of the easy access to pokies, keno or horse racing. My dad and I stayed there for 5 days while going through one of the worst periods we will ever have in our life and the staff was nothing but kind and compassionate, always asking how we were during this time, amazing food, beautifully poured drinks and a surprisingly quiet calm atmosphere, i hope to return again some day (under better circumstances) The whole staff was very nice but Liam the bartender went above and beyond and talked with us when he could to check in on how we were doing

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met. The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to see and do. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay!

We can see that the rooms were renovated a short time ago. The room was very nice, as was the bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable. The cleaning was excellent. The location is also perfect. I highly recommend it

Great basic clean rooms. Has every essential but not fancy. Great location right in the centre. Can't complain for the value

The location is great in the central Hobart. The room is clean. The only downside is sometimes there are street noise before midnight
