Central Hotel Gdańsk

TLDR: High-quality rooms, well-suited staff and a most central location. Having previously stayed at the Central Hotel Gdańsk in March of the previous year, I was particularly enthusiastic about my week-long stay culminating on January 10th. My expectations in this regard were not only fulfilled but surpassed in numerous aspects. Room #208 proved to be exceptionally comfortable, with the underfloor heating in the bathroom and the additional storage space provided by the built-in wardrobe being especially appreciated. Housekeeping services were equally impeccable, with the female staff member responsible for maintaining my room towards the conclusion of my stay exceeding her duties. The reception team was both accommodating and welcoming, consistent with previous experiences, with a most delightful sweet treat awaiting me upon my late-night arrival on the 3rd, accompanied by a note expressing gratitude for my continued patronage. The restaurant operated efficiently as well, offering a considerable variety in both beverage and food menus. Hasta la vista, Central Hotel Gdańsk.

Truly beautiful hotel with lovely, friendly, welcoming staff. Everywhere was immaculate and tastefully decorated. Our room was very comfortable and warm (a little too warm for out liking). Great central location, within walking distance of Christmas Markets, the Old Town and river. |Yes, there's noise from the busy road outside but the windows do a good job of blocking most of it out.|Would recommend the bar & restaurant.|Enjoy your stay!

Perfect location to explore from! Close to public transport links and walkable into the city. Beautiful rooms, lovely staff and just an amazing experience. |Due to weather, our flight was diverted and we were late checking in. But nothing was too much of a problem. |Yes, it's by a busy road, but we didn't find the noise bad at all. The hotel was absolutely spotless and we both commented how much more you would pay for something similar at home.||Enjoyed beers downstairs and had a superb meal there. We only had one breakfast, which we really enjoyed. But location is great to head out for a mooch and explore other options as well.||Thank you for an absolutely lovely, special holiday.

The hotel is an absolute gem! The building is beautiful, rooms are spacious, clean and warm. FOH staff were friendly and efficient, we arrived hours before check-in but they stored our bags and when we returned hours later, they remembered us and sorted our keys straight away. We opted to have dinner in the restaurant that evening as the weather wasn't very nice. Food was good, large portions and the beer (brewed on site) was excellent. The only point I would raise is that dinner service finished at 9 and the restaurant closed at 10.30, but it was Sunday. The train station and tram stop is right next to the hotel, with a designated Uber/Bolt area. I would highly recommend this hotel

The hotel is housed in a beautiful building and the rooms are a good size and very comfortable with a large bathroom, although the quality of the toiletries didn't reflect the price paid. ||Breakfast was really great, a good variety of food and a reasonable price. ||Location was perfect for walking to the Old Town, New Town and the markets. ||Unfortunately the downside is the noise. You can hear the rooms above and below, the corridors and the street outside (traffic and people's conversations!). There is no noise reduction at all which resulted in not sleeping great.||The food on offer at the restaurant doesn't match up to the quality of breakfast and was disappointing given how many great places there are to eat elsewhere. There was also a function one night so we were unable to use part of the restaurant. ||A bar lounge area reserved only for guests at the hotel would be appreciated.

Hotel with a pleasant atmosphere.|Breakfast was really good. Welcoming staff all the way.|My wife and I had dinner at the hotel three times. We stayed there for a week.|Dinners were tasty. They serve good beers from their own brewery. Service was ok. In the restaurant. I would also recommend two nearby restaurants: Mandu and Babette.|The premium room was nicely furnished and spacious. Beware noise from trains passing by.

Stayed here for a long weekend. It's almost next to the train station, so very convenient for arriving from the airport. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was nothing special but good enough. As a craft beer lover it was great to have a selection of craft beers and good food in the restaurant. A short walk from the main museums and the centre of town. Would come here again.

Enjoyable stay whilst in Gdansk with work. Room was a good size and spotless. Great restaurant & bar with local craft beers. Breakfast was excellent. Friendly staff ensured a nice stay in a relaxed atmosphere.|Good location for town. I would avoid taxis from the taxi rank outside by the station and use Uber - one driver tried to charge 130PLN for a 30PLN journey.
