Google
Nice park flanking a beautiful senior center. Green grass, nice trees, walking paths. Lots of parking, even shade spots under solar panels. However, not many shaded places to sit, and it was hot when we went. Luckily, there was space for us at the picnic area, but the playground offered little to no shade. My daughter even commented on how hot the slide was on her skin. They have a small kids playground and a little bigger kid playground, but neither are top-notch. Public restrooms and water fountains available. Overall, it's a nice place to take the family and/or hang out with friends.

Google
This was such a cute event! I loved it so much. Everyone looked to have so much fun! They danced, ate and had a great time as did I!

Google
I like Central Park. It's a nice stop along the Pacific Electric Trail. It would be better if there was more shade on the walk paths. The park itself has plenty of shade just not much on the walk path. However, it's still a very nice location with fantastic views of the mountains, statues, playground, and planted flowers. Really nice.

Google
Cannot say enough good things about this park, been here for an event in the community center, but recently took my dog. He’s too reactive for the new dog park which looks amazing, but the large park is very dog friendly with trash cans and poop bags everywhere. Absolutely loved the water faucets for dogs. Very very clean. Felt safe. Lots of parking. Highly recommend and will return.

Google
wonderful park! it's super beautiful when the buckwheat is in bloom and very well equipped, great trails as well

Google
This is a lovely park with a nice playground for kids (2-5) and (5-12). There’s a community center, senior’s center and both covered and open sit-outs. Good green cover in many places. A walking/joggers track wraps around the north perimeter of the park, approx 1.2mi. At the center, there’s a thoughtful memorial to our veterans. As a bonus, you get a beautiful view of the mountains. The park closes at 6pm which is early for summer, and some folks are still around late into the evening.

Google
Wonderful spot to have company parties or events. Parking is vast and always available. The park always looks clean. Love to see the kiddos in the dance class. Miss seeing my niece when she was little in her dance class. There is also a little free library stand!! Sad I was late to the class, if not, I probably would have loved to take a new book to read!!

Google
Beautiful waking path with stunning views of the mountains! Lots of parking. Will definitely return. Google says they close at 6pm, but definitely lots of people still out.

Yelp
Central Park is great! We've spent a lot of time here over the years. They have EV charging here as well. This is a very popular spot to take photos for the local high school dances. There's a cool little bridge, but it was super crowded with other homecoming groups for photos, as well as a wedding! There's plenty of space and other courtyards available for photo opportunities. Among many other reasons, this is a great addition to the City of Rancho Cucamonga!

Yelp
Community is always stronger together. This special event was a night full of fun, connection, and inclusivity celebrating all things incredible about our local culture. Huge thanks to everyone who showed up and supported this meaningful gathering. More to come, stay tuned! With love, Team Smiley

Yelp
Great little green oasis. I come here when I want to relax and take a stroll among the well-manicured grass and trees. There's a little playground and a covered picnic area. Plenty of covered parking as well. The conference hall is right there as well and is spacious inside. My company holds their annual summit meetings in there.
google avatar

Yelp
Newest addition to Central Park ... a dog park complete with a huge yellow geometric Doberman! I like this spacious dog park which has separate areas for big and small dogs. It comes complete with obstacle course and balls for your pet to fetch. This is a great place to have your dog meet other canines! I did not encounter any aggressive dogs, but I would still keep a close eye on your fur baby as some people brought medium to big dogs in the area. The place comes complete with obstacle course and balls for fetching! There are many benches to sit with beautiful views of the mountains! Lulu had a safe great time!

Yelp
This is one calm, serene, family friendly park! I come here sometimes because it's close to the dentist and dog groomers, and it's always neat, clean and very quiet! There are people laying around on the grass reading, what looks like a Tai Chi group exercising, and a few folks walking their dogs! There's a senior or multipurpose building that always seems to have events or meetings, a great looking playground for kids, a bbq area, plenty of wide open spaces for picnics or parties, and no shady type people, at least that I've seen! In the western part of the center there's a really nice veteran's memorial set up and it appears to have tributes to firefighters also. There's a bike path that runs along the northern edge of the park and a open gym area as well! I saw a new, large, dog park being built about a block to the west which I can't wait for, but for now, I'm loving this park and I think you will too!

Yelp
Could not find the outdoor gym. Walked around some building, which was closed. Am I missing something?

Yelp
Beautiful place. Well kept and lighting excellent. I will return to this facility. Friendly personnel.

Yelp
I wanted to try this park with my toddler because I noticed while driving through they had a nice park structure that is partially enclosed. It is hard to find enclosed park structures in the Rancho area so I was hopeful. Unfortunately this play structure is not well maintained. The spongy flooring around the gymnasium is uneven and in need of maintenance and there was litter all around both trashcans. Before leaving, I wanted to use the public restroom but there is not one nearby. Using my stepcounter I had to walk .78 miles roundtrip to make it to the front of the senior center and enter to use the restroom. It seems silly to me to not have any public restrooms near a play structure. Additionally, the parking is right across from the structure, but the entrances just aren't positioned strategically so you end up having to walk halfway around just to get it. Overall, this park has a great view of the mountains, but it is not an area that is thoughtfully designed or maintained and I probably will choose a different park in the future.
google avatar

Mike L.

Yelp
Nice clean park that has a huge senior center on site. Plenty of parking and the pacific electric bike trail is alongside this park Lots of green grass and a huge area for kids to play on swings slides and more
google avatar

Greg O.

Yelp
This outside gym is clean and inexpensive. It's at a location anyone can stop by and spend 10 min on each station to work on strength and flexibility. Why city leaderships don't add a station like this to all neighborhood parks in America is not wise. Bolted down pull up, dip, sit up stations. American adult and kids would be in better physical condition. Help the mental and emotion
google avatar

David H.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, attentive service and pup friendly. 3rd time here and the food had been spot on. Love this place.
google avatar

Yelp
We went to this part for the first time. The park itself is nice. Wish it had more grass and shade for the owners. The only problem that we had was, after coming here our fur babies started itching. They never had this problem before and when I showered them we found fleas on them. Sad to say, if u bring your dogs here just be careful.
google avatar

Yelp
I think they were supposed to expand this park all the way down to the east side, but not sure what happened to that phase. In any case, Central Park is a nice park with the senior center in the middle. There's plenty of grass, dirt trails and sidewalk to take a stroll either by yourself or with your pets. There's also a small playground for kids to the side. There's also a fitness court for adults where you can get in a workout using the fitness equipment. Download the Fitness Court app. for more exercises and instruction on how to use the various parts of the Fitness Court. Just above the park is the Pacific Electric Trail which is great for walking and mountain biking and provides scenic views. This park is more for relaxing, walking/hiking, having a picnic or flying a kite. The mountains in the background add for a picturesque view and sunsets from here are really nice. It also feels really safe here as there are a lot of families and just citizens walking about. One thing to be weary of are coyotes in the field adjacent to the park. One snuck up on me and my small dog and tried to eat the dog. This was closer to 6 at night when the sun was going down, but be on the lookout for them in the early morning as well. There's plenty of parking on both sides and they also have covered parking with solar panels above, although, one time I parked under the covered parking and came back to a car full of bird poop. Not too much of a downside here, it's really a nice place to walk in the evening and reflect.

Yelp
This is a pretty neat little park. I like that there is no sand on the playground. I also like that there are little paths around and near the playground for kids to ride bikes or scooters, etc. there are lots of grassy areas for playing ball or picnics. Plenty of parking. There was quite a bit for kids of all ages to play on. Different structures for different ages. Baby & toddler swings. Big kid swings and even a swing for the physically impaired. There is not much shade however. But all the structures were in good condition, and the playground was clean. We ride our bikes on the Pacific Electric Trail to this park on Sunday and we're quite surprised by the amount of people there at 10am. It's obviously quite popular. There is a senior center and a really nice memorial to our fallen service members. The community center was open on Sunday so we were able to use the restrooms which were extremely clean and well stocked. It appeared they even had a snack area inside to help yourself. Overall it was a pleasant day and I'm thankful that the community center was open so my 3yo could take advantage of the restrooms before riding our bikes back home.

Amy L.

Yelp
Park is great! Been going for years. Well maintained. Doggos love it. But staff inside the senior centers aren't as nice! Very rude. Will yell at you to vacate areas near the building even though you are passing by. Don't go near the building and you will enjoy it!

Yelp
An outstanding community resource, Central Park offers free and low-cost services, educational classes, and facility rentals to residents. There are picnic areas, playgrounds, and a bike-walking-running trail that extends far past the city limits, connecting with Fontana, Upland, and beyond. The city hosts plenty of classes and community events for residents (non-residents are welcome, too, but for a higher fee). The various-sized rooms can be rented out for your events as well and the front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. Inside there is a lot of space inside and out, along with plenty of chairs and tables for public use. I've come here a few times to get work done, taking advantage of the free wi-fi. There's a snack bar open during the week to keep you fueled as you work and/or study. The parking lot was recently re-done to include solar-panel covered parking, so in the often scorching weather here it's nice to know that the city is being environmentally conscious.
google avatar

Lucila S.

Yelp
Really nice park and lots of shade to sit down and have a picnic at. The downside is that there aren't any restrooms. I tried going into one of the facilities but it was closed so it's not very convenient if you plan on staying longer than a few hours.

Mark M.

Yelp
2 kids needed to go bad to the restroom. Found an open door and they said we couldn't pee there, closest bathroom was at shopping center. Why is there no restroom at this park?
google avatar

Izzy S.

Yelp
Great park, and well maintained... but WARNING: there are no restrooms on the weekend!!!!
google avatar

Antonella B.

Yelp
Not sure if this is going to make a difference, but I'm incredibly disappointed in the misinformation I was given regarding shelter reservations at this facility. A young women helped when I went to reserve a shelter for my daughters birthday party. She had told me the city is closed on Sundays, so she could not reserve a shelter for me. She stated it was first come first serve. My husband and I showed up to our desired shelter at 7am (our party started at 2) to make sure we got it before anyone else only to find out IT WAS RESERVED THROUGH THE CITY. Why was I given the wrong information?
google avatar

Daryl I.

Yelp
My family hosted an event and rented one of their rooms. Having never been here before, I was very impressed by the facilities, which seemed to be rather new. Parking was ample, and the staff was great about making sure that we had everything that we needed. My only knock against the place would be if they had signs on the perimeter of the park, indicating where to park based on what room you were going to. The park itself was very nice and well maintained. The city should be proud of this venue.
google avatar

Russell Z.

Yelp
There are baby swings here, which are great for 2-5 year olds, but definitely not for the small kiddos at under 1 years of age. This is one of the larger parks in Rancho Cucamonga, with plenty of green to run, play on, and solar panel covered parking, which I can appreciate for its eco-sustainable impact on the environment. Didn't spend too much time here yesterday due to the humid heat outside, but when the temps cool down I'll come back and do a proper eval of the area.
google avatar

John D.

Yelp
we were looking for a venue for a baby shower and spoke with Melissa there at Central Park. She was very friendly and answered many questions. The room was reasonably priced for what we want and we did end up putting a deposit for an early October Baby Shower.
google avatar

Jarvis N.

Yelp
This is overall a nice park It has a nice playground for kids, large green area for running around. The halls can be rented out and there is a trail near by.
google avatar

Rachel B.

Yelp
Very nice park! My boyfriend and I came here for a picnic for lunch. There are a bunch of trees for shade and a big lawn to set out a blanket to lay on. We even hung our hammock and was able to get a lot of shade. Very nice park for families and kids as there is a playground.
google avatar

Summer B.

Yelp
This is a fun park to bring a scooter, skates or a bike... there are paved paths that make it easy. It is a foam pad based playground with minimal shade on the equipment. There are low brick walls around the play area which makes for a nice spot to sit and watch your kiddo play.
google avatar

Van T.

Yelp
Great looking park that is very well kept. There is a playground and lots of open space. I usually come one morning runs here with my German Shepherd. Lots of space for my dog and kids to run around

Yelp
Nice place to enjoy a picnic. It's also close to Pacific Electric Trail. Enjoy the day at the park.

Yelp
This is for the event spaces. What a great venue for a party. There was also a wedding in the courtyard. Many rooms to choose from and great amenities and lovely bathrooms. Not your typical community center. Also lots of shades parking.

Yelp
Very very nice facility. Nice and clean. And very friendly staff. The ladies in green are always friendly and greet me every time I'm there.

Yelp
The park has come a long way but more work still needs to be done. There's some trails but what it needs is a baseball and soccer field. Hopefully they get the money to build it soon. The landscape is beautiful and a there is a section dedicated to the military. Fortunately, I can fit in the swing at the playground.
google avatar

Kristina M.

Yelp
What a beautiful park. There are large grassy areas, plenty of parking, a playground, a Senior Center, community center, and access to the awesome Pacific Electric trail. The rooms are really nice in the community center and are available for rental. They reminded me of the conference rooms at the Sheraton in Pasadena. This is a great place to bring your kids, partner, or hangout solo! A part of the park is undeveloped so it'd be great once they're able to work on that.
google avatar

John P.

Yelp
Let's start by saying that I am a huge fan of all the parks in Rancho Cucamonga, it's an amazing place to ride your bike or walk your dog or go for a morning run. Most of the parks interconnect and it's a really neat experience. Central Park on the other hand is not very well utilized and is completely, utterly underdeveloped. I have attended meetings and seminars at the facilities located there and they are quite nice. There is a grass space and places to relax under the trees but it's a little perplexing when you look at it on a map or drive-in from the baseline location. I always find myself asking what's going on over there? Why all the dry underdeveloped area? What a nice view of the mountain, it would be great to sit on the bench under a tree and look up at the scenery but, there's nothing to sit on out in the vast open space that compromises the left two thirds of the park. I understand that completing a park this large would take a significant amount of money, however I also am aware that the park has been in this condition for quite some time, many, many years. It would be amazing if the city could post information on their website or on their Facebook about a timeline to which they have set out to finish the park. Is there even a plan? It would be a shame to watch such a great space go to waste. Who knows if the city will even read this review or if it even matters. I just wanted to share my two cents that while the spaces that have been developed are very nice, there is a long ways to go.
google avatar

Gina E.

Yelp
This review is of the park only.....not the building facilities: -my son who is 2 loves this park and so do I. You can tell that a lot of thought and care went into the development of this park with the kids in mind. For me what is a big winner at this park is the fact that it does not have sand but instead has that cushy, kinda bouncy, synthetic ground that is great for when kids may trip or slip. There is a small area for the little kids and a nice big play area for older kids. There are a lot of interactive parts about this park, such as the speaker phones - u can be at a distance from someone and speak to them through the speaker and they can hear your voice echo. I enjoy this park
google avatar

Richard V.

Yelp
Love this part for different types of Occasions. They have a big firld for soccer, frisbee, catch, or football. They have a walk/running path around the park. The playground is very well kept and has two sections, one for smaller children and a bigger one for the older kids. There is also a dirt field to the side that is used for RC cars, plans, and drones. Another great thing is that the park is right next to the Pacific trail so locals can jump on the trail and walk/bike to the park
google avatar

Coni M.

Yelp
Central park is such a Lovely park and the best in Cucamonga! It has a wonderful community/senior center that have many activities & events going on. I sincerely appreciate them for honoring our Veterans & Military in such an admirable way. The entire park has always been extremely clean with awesome landscape. I appreciate everyone including the nice neighborhood residents/visitors/etc that respect the park & keep it that way. The bike/walking/dog trails are terrific & go miles & miles especially east & west through adjacent cities "LOVE it". The people of Rancho Cucamonga are always pleasant here & on the trails. They do not hesitate to say hello or stop to extend a greeting along the way. *Cucamonga definitely has a piece of my heart. This was my secret place for 7yrs but now the secret is out, therefore this great park undoubtedly deserves my long " overdue" review.

Yelp
I rented the Mesa Courtyard and hall next to it for my sons wedding, the courtyard is a beautiful setting and the hall is big enough to host medium-large wedding. Rane was the event coordinator that i worked with the most and was also there day of, she was very accommodating and helpful. The park itself makes a great backdrop for pictures and everything turned out beautiful. Cons: We handled the setup ourselves, brought in fruit, veggies, dips, etc for appetizers before the food truck was to arrive for dinner. We placed the appetizers along with champagne and beer to chill in the refrigerator, but because the alcohol can only be consumed for 4 hours during the event, they locked the refrigerator. When I asked the crew to unlock it, they seemed annoyed and told me top get everything I needed out then, but we still had 3 hours before the guests would arrive, so I refused. It would help to have two refrigerators so that one can remain unlocked for food prep while the alcohol remains locked up. Also during set up I miscounted tables and asked the crew to take 2 tables out when it should have only been 1. I realized it, got one of the tables back out from the closet they placed them in and when the crew (we're talking late teens, maybe early twenties) came back in, she immediately scolded us for going in the closet. HELLO, there is a right and wrong way to speak with customers. We also did the tear down ourselves. Clean up was easy and really only consisted of us leaving the kitchen as clean as we found it, taking everything we brought with us and making sure all of the trash was in trashcans. The only issue we had was that it we had 130 guests and the trashcans were overflowing and no crew was around to provide extra trash bags, we had to hunt them down. It would be nice to have them available and visible in the kitchen area. Last Con: I forgot about the giant Jenga that my husband made for the bride and groom and that had been signed by guests with personal messages for them, along with a small table to place the Jenga on. When I called the following Monday I was told nothing was left behind. That is just not true, it was left by accident and I'm guessing the young guys in the clean up crew have a new giant Jenga at home. My fault, I should have taken it with me. We had to pay for Rancho Sheriff's to be on site because we served alcohol (beer and wine), but were very chill and respectful (as were the guests). Refund of security deposit was prompt (3 business days). Other than having to hunt down the crew to unlock the fridge, the moment of rudeness from the young crew member and lack of trash bags as the evening progressed, it was a fun, successful time. If you have a choice, I highly recommend working with Rane (pronounced Rainy) I had to deal with a couple of other people on the team throughout planning and while they shall remain nameless, they were not as helpful or pleasant as Rane.

Yelp
One of the better parks I've been to and I love to take my dog here. It's in a really nice location and the park is HUGE. It's really nice to go to especially during the day because there's hardly anyone there. My dog loves to run around here and there's plenty of shade. It's also good for kids they have an entire playground. Really nice park!
google avatar

Donita B.

Yelp
One of my favorite places in Rancho to relax, take a nice around the park, read a good book, or even play Pokemon Go! It's very clean and well kept, grass looks manicured and the amnities at the community center are great. Theres one spot at the park where you can have a picnic at the benches and it has 2 Pokestops close by! I recommend coming here with friends or family just to relax or even by yourself if you need to destress.
google avatar

Yelp
Beautiful beautiful park. The landscaping is well kept. The environment is clean and it is one of the larger parks in the area. Great place to take the kids out. There is also a nice playground that kids can come and play.
google avatar

Yelp
Great park for all ages! New, clean playground structures. Benches for adults to hang out & monitor kids. Kids love the zip line! I love the foamy flooring. I just wish there was some shady spots from the hot sun.
google avatar

Diana S.

Yelp
Beautiful, clean park. My son really enjoyed playing here. All green areas are very well kept. Playground is big and there are lots of swings. The trails are inviting for a relaxing walk around the park. Definitely an excellent choice (no-cost) choice for an outing with the children.

Yelp
Very nice staff. Great location for an event. We had a wonderful time here last night. Spacious indoor and out door setting. Also the location is ideal. Very easy commute and effortless to locate.

Yelp
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. It's not really friendly and I've had mostly bad experiences here. It should really be called a 'senior center', as it's not a 'community center', except for maybe some events. It's not really friendly with all the locked doors and the mean (or fake friendly people). All I can say is that I stay away from the people, as even though many ppl are ''o...k...'', there's a couple of sleezes that'll make my life more (I mean really) miserable. Like they need a big sign on them saying 'nope, don't talk to me'. Really. I mean, what can I expect from it? Oh wait, more than what I get. Nothing's easy to get to - the computers - nope, the desks - nuh uh, the chairs - comfy, yet uncomfy (too big), the bookshelf - not interesting. I've told them time and tide before: make it more of a community center, but they don't listen. Can't use their empty rooms, even when I want to. It's just pathetic and is one of those places that make me not like Rancho. I guess it does deserve one star by being close to the trail and removing some of their grass, but the fact that they have nothing inside that talks about the PE trail (I mean, buy some books and get some signs - it's history!) and has more grass than I'm comfortable being around (I get sneezy/sick around it), ok. Solar panels - check - done well (although sometimes they don't work and won't listen when I say it needs to be fixed, but it did - so I can't really complain about that I guess). Most people volunteer there, so there aren't really jobs there. I mean, some people get jobs, but I think they mess up those people's careers. It's pretty to look at (I guess) and people do 'like' it (I mean, some renovations were good, but some not - like the new name - I bet not what the original founders would've liked - whom I saw at the opening of the place), but I don't think I'll ever be able to look at this place straight and not leave before getting the 'heeby jeebies' from at least one person there. Another reason for the 0 stars: I don't want the nature area nearby developed (unlike a lot of other people who want it, but don't have to put up with the consequences, as they live in another part of Rancho - lucky them). Rancho's getting crowded enough and it'll come out of my pockets for something I don't want and is too close to where I live. No thanks. That place has a purpose of being a fire retardant and I don't want fires. I don't want an ampitheater and we have the Quakes and it's going to be too loud there. Also, it would just block the view of the mountains. There are animals that live in the plants, and adding lights would mess up the ecology - the animals may get harmed or leave and travel to nearby homes and cause a disturbance. Much of Rancho's developed and still getting more developed, so I believe there's something for everyone somewhere if people look hard enough. I guess the PE trail could be helped with more trees, shade (like solar panels), wind breakers (maybe in the form of wind turbines), art/historic signs, etc. I just don't think the most untouched area should be getting developed, but it looks like they're developing there, so I guess those who want it developed won?

Yelp
We just had our wedding in the mesa courtyard on May 27th and it turned out great! Rane was the event coordinator that helped us most throughout our experience and she made it so easy for us since we were setting up all the tables and decorations on our big day! She watched over the ceremony so that no random people walked in and she also checked on us before she left that night. We chose central park because it was the most affordable place to have a wedding in Rancho and it had great photo opportunities. They did have two other weddings going on at the same time in the two large halls next to the courtyard, I didn't really notice the noise level because they kept the doors shut and signs up at all times. We did have to ask a few wandering people to leave the courtyard but that's just people being rude and nosey! They do only allow beer and wine, no hard alcohol, the only down side to having a big event here but thank goodness my family doesn't really drink. Other than that everything was great, we had a worker from the park helping with our bartender and putting chairs away. They did not rush us and were very friendly!

Yelp
Great park. Great bike paths. My kids learned to ride their bikes here. Nice area and not too crowded.
