Central Sporthotel Davos

The hotel is located in the heart of Davos, walking distance from the train station, restaurants, cafes, and Jakobshorn. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, and the bed was convenient. There's a spa and swimming pool in the basement. The breakfast was fresh and delicious

Clean room and super location. Kitchenette was great. The onsite laundry equipment needs to be upgraded, the dryer didn't work so we had to hang our very wet clothes in the apartment to dry, which took two days.

Excellent hotel to stay for visiting Davos. Located close to the train station (Davos Platz) and close to shops, restaurants and bars. The staff at the reception was extremely friendly and helped me to coordinate several meetings to make sure it was al running smoothly. A fantastically spacious appartment, immaculately clean and very well equipped. All the staff in the main hotel were friendly and efficient, even though they were often in demand from the many groups staying there. The bar was really nice with a competetive price list (by Swiss standards) and served with lovely nibbles and a smile. There was a free concert every early evening on the road above the airport and it was lovely to see local families and visitors enjoying the music. The location was excellent with nearby shops, transport, the art gallery and lovely walks and climbs.||There were some minor negatives: the English TV channels were not working but it was nice to have the chance for conversation and reading - my advice is to take an extra book! We should have reported it but didn't... Some cushions on the sofas would be nice too.

Reasonably good old hotel with friendly and helpful staffs.

The location is good, the rooms very pleasant and quiet and the service at the reception and in the restaurant and bar is excellent - they do everything they can to help. The food is good and mainly a wide variety.||It’s a shame that they no longer provide complimentary cake with tea in the afternoon - it was a nice gesture. And tea/coffee making facilities in the room would be extremely welcome. As a non-skier I spent a lot of time working and it would be very useful to be able to have tea on demand.||Housekeeping is a little basic for a hotel of this level - again extremely pleasant staff, but towels aren’t refolded, toiletries (and toilet rolls!) not replenished other than on request, and the floor is not hoovered. That said, the cleaniness other than the bedroom floor is excellent.||My criticisms are all small and we would visit again.

Beautiful hotel in a brilliant location. The views are amazing. The staff were helpful and accommodating. My only negative is there is no tea/coffee facilities in the room. You therefore have to either order roomservice or go downstairs to the bar.

Very kind and proffesional staff, nice rooms with nice view. Smaller food portions but who cares when you can stuff your face with 4 courses: salad, soup, main dish and dessert. You wont be hungry at all. Great position at the city center, free wifi, sauna and swimming pool...what else do you need?
