An insider's guide to Bangkok, Thailand - SilverKris

"Outside the mall, evening street vendors coalesce into makeshift hawker stalls where diners can settle in for authentic seafood dinners — a highlight being salt‑coated grilled fish with extremely tender flesh beneath charred skin, typically eaten with a fiery bird’s eye chilli seafood sauce." - SilverKris

First-class mall with everything you could possibly need! The variety of shops, dining options, and entertainment is outstanding. During the holiday season, the Christmas decorations are absolutely stunning—bright, festive, and beautifully arranged throughout the mall. A must-visit spot if you’re in the area!

CentralwOrld is one of the most impressive shopping malls in Bangkok! 🛍️✨ It’s huge, modern, and offers an incredible variety of international brands, restaurants, and cafés – you can truly find everything here. 🍜👗☕ The atmosphere is great – a perfect mix of luxury and relaxation. The food courts and rooftop bars are definite highlights. 🍹 Everything is spotless, well organized, and easy to navigate. A perfect place to shop, dine, and enjoy the Bangkok lifestyle!

I came early December and had a great time. Outside had a bunch of Christmas decorations and you could really feel the holiday season feelings. The mall itself was also really good especially the food court on the 7th floor was particularly impressive

Whenever I visit Bangkok, this mall is my top choice. It boasts the most diverse selection of brands around, even if it doesn’t feature every luxury label. The food options are impressively varied, and there's often a lively culinary festival right outside, making each visit even more exciting.

Our favorite mall ist the Siam Paragon, followed by the MBK Center. Both are near Centralworld. It's a great area to stay at if you like malls (like we do). Of these three, the Centralworld is the one that excites me the least. Pricing and shopping wise it's somewhere between the more luxury Siam Paragon (with the best food hall) and the cheaper MBK Center. There's nothing wrong with this mall though. A good range of shops, cheaper and more luxurious ones. Nice food court and a good number of really nice restaurants. It's just the one I feel the least connected to, just didn't catch me like the other two. But there's a very very good reason to come here anyways: It's "Katsu Midori". The Sushi Restaurant with the best Sushi outside of Japan. Quality is insanely good. Be sure to make a reservation or be ready to wait up to two hours. But worth it. Still: If you're in the area, it's a pretty fun mall and worth checking out. We always come back too, since Paragon and MBK are so close. So we visit this one as well.

CentralWorld – massive and lively shopping hub! 🛍️🌆 CentralWorld is one of Bangkok’s largest and busiest malls. It has an incredible variety of international brands, local shops, restaurants, and cafes, so there’s something for everyone. The mall is modern, clean, and well-organized, but it can get very crowded, especially on weekends or during holidays. The open spaces and impressive atrium make walking around enjoyable, and there are plenty of spots for dining and relaxing. If you love shopping, food, and experiencing the bustling city vibe, CentralWorld is a must-visit. Just be ready for crowds!

As a tourist, I really enjoyed visiting this mall! It’s a great place to shop for both luxury brands and local Thai labels. The mall is big, clean, and beautifully designed — perfect for walking around and exploring. There are so many restaurants and cafes to choose from, and there’s almost always an event going on. I also love that it’s connected by a walking bridge to nearby areas, which makes it super convenient to get around. Definitely a must-visit spot when in Bangkok!

This place is gigantic and has everything you could want, went looking for some designer sunglasses and jeans. Everyone was helpful and I didnt have any issues communicating in English. I had a burger at the shake shack, delicious not too expensive, well run and clean establishment 👍 you could easily spend days shopping here before seeing everything
