Centre Céramique

I came to the library to study. It’s a really nice place. Modern library. The only thing that was bothering me were the kids running around being loud. I could not focus properly on my work.

I do believe this is a best place in the city. 3 floors of books, places to work, places to chat, coffee point and extremely welcoming stuff. I lived in 20 mins from this places and nearly every week found myself willing to visit this place. The location is perfect, easy reachable by bus or by bike, the working hours are also very convenient (maybe a little bit more in the evening).

The public library of Maastricht, which also hosts the Maastricht museum. There are also many art installation and cultural performances hosted here. There is also a cafe where you can get good coffee and cakes. Also nice place to study and read.

It's a nice place that has exhibitions often. I was impressed by the photo exhibition of Bob Thissen.

Great place, with inspiring exhibitions. The coffee area is great for learning.

Good and comfortable place for business meetings in the middle of the Maastricht.

Nice free place to study with wifi

This is an excellent library in Maastricht, set on a lovely square beside the River Maas. The building is modern and welcoming, and feels warm and cosy inside. There is a café in the library, and plenty more nice ones around the square as well, which is all pedestrianised (including bikes of course- this is the Netherlands). I enjoyed being able to sit down with a view of the Maas and read some of the free international newspapers provided in the library, followed by a coffee at the café. Overall, a nice relaxing place to hang out for a while between intense touristing around the city.
