This place will probably be interesting only for kids and people interested in this theme. They have a lot of masks and some "theatre vibe" here, and some souvenirs to buy. A workshop to paint masks and do something with your hands. And this place has a small cafeteria and big parking zone. I am not that kind of person so I won't put this place to the first place of my wish-list next trip to Cape Breton, but if you have kids, you can try this place... why not?

We had no idea what Mi-Carême was when we stopped in. The staff were quick to share the history with us and we purchased some cute locally-made crafts. The photo-ops are perfect and there's a cute little beach within walking distance.

Loved this place. I recommend everyone to visit this hidden gem. Everyone were so friendly. I have 3 year and 5 year old and they were busy for half n hour doing painting the mask activity. They also provided some hidden gems around the town to visit.

We went to the mask making workshop for all ages during the August long weekend festival. It was a lot of fun and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Such an interesting place! The lady working here was very informative. The displays and artifacts are very interesting and well done. We didn't know anything about this place or the holiday and loved learning about it. They also have a back art room where you can paint masks, rocks, driftwood, etc. Lots of handmade items in the gift shop.

I really like this places, is a beautiful place with a nit of history and nice crafts. The surrounding area is worth visiting and taking photos of. Feels like a postcard. It is a nice stop on the cabot trail.

It was a really cute museum but we paid an entrance fee only to find out that the museum was just one room...we had expected a little more. It was only $5 but we visited similar priced museums that we spent two hours in.

If you are heading to Cheticamp,NS this is a MUST stop and visit spot. A neat and unique (costume) representation of Acadian culture and a nice café (that serves excellent espresso)
