It’s a pretty cool habitat, but you can only really see one pond, which limits the number of bird species you can see.

Take the 24/25 bus here from the city and arrive before it closes at 2 pm. If parking lot is full, cars won't be let in, but may only be that busy on holidays (or weekends?). Bird blind was great. Unfortunately lots of visitors don't understand being quiet, but it doesn't seem to disturb the birds too much. Great views from the bird blind and the tower.

Amazing place for bird lovers, hikers and of course nature lovers. The bird hide is amazing to see the flamingos and other birds like cormorants, lapwings, black-winged stilt, Eurhasian Moorhen and many more. When we were walking toewards the bird hide we saw hundreds of Flamingos flying in the sky. When we reached the hide we only saw 1 and many flamingo eggs. Super place!! ALERT: IT IS OPEN UNTIL 14:00PM (make sure to be early or don’t go after 14:00PM)

*BRING MOSQUITO REPELLENT* Park for learning about the Albufera and the different types of flora fauna, and birds in the area. Many local student groups come here so it can get loud. The views from the lookout tower are impressive. Only complaints are the zillions of mosquitos and lack of English explanations, primarily in Spanish and Catalán.

A beautiful quiet lake with lots of sea birds, herons, ducks etc. You can hire a boat for a short trip around the lake. 4 Euros per person. Recommended.
