Centre place hotel Chiang mai

We stayed for 4 nights and found the hotel to be in a great spot from train station, bars, restaurants, sightseeing the old town and safe. Owners are lovely people and super accommodating, washing clothes is also possible by hotel staff. Room is basic but air conditioned, only slight fault with room is that the drainage from shower is poor but eventually does clear. You’re paying a very reasonable price for location more than you are the quality of the room but that’s exactly what we were after when you’re out and about most of the day/ evening in Chiang Mai. Will definitely return when passing through Chiang Mai again!

This is best location with the best price and they gave you the best service never stayed any hotel like this in thailand. Loved this place too much! Because every thing is nearby. There are 3 7/11 and the many beautiful temples. The aunt here was just like a mom. Its a family. Thankyou for you kindness. Khapunkhao

This small guesthouse is located on small and quiet side-street of Loi Kroh Road, 5 minutes walking from Night Bazzar and old city. For 1 week I payed just 2450 bhat for the room with aircon, big ceiling fan, queen-size bed, tv, mini-fridge, and separate bathroom with hot water. Room was very basic, but very clean and tidy, full of light, I had room 214 which has garden view. Free wifi with strong signal, I could skype with home without interruptions. ||The guesthouse is family business, so service is very nice and quick, for this price my room was cleaned every day and every day I got bottle of fresh water free of charge and fresh towels. Also you will get warm greetings every morning and it really feels like home away from home.||||The only '-" I can name is that the drain in the bath was not working fast, so everytime I took shower it was little flooding in the bathroom.

This place is very good for backpackers on a budget. We paid somewhere between 400-500 THB for a fan room. The room had no windows but we actually like that because it meant no mosquitoes could come in! There is a smoking area on the second floor where you can chill out and have a beer. The staff were nice and the room was fine except that there was no door to the bathroom, just a shower curtain to pull across which is fine for couples but probably not if you are travelling with friends!

Do not stay at this guesthouse. ||We stayed here for 2 nights in Nov and regret every minute of it. It was the worst place we have ever stayed in. The staff were not friendly at all, the entrance was dark and dingy. The outside looked crummy and an old local man always there trying to sell you a tour which was just annoying when he would try every time he saw you. The room was an ok size and the air con was good but the wifi was rubbish. The bed didn't look like it had clean sheets or pillow cases even though it had been (questionable) they smelt, me and my partner actually wore our clothes to bed and laid tshirts over the pillows which we then had to wash straight away at our next hotel because they smelt. The bathroom wasn't great. There were little mites everywhere and we had a cockroach as well in the room so didn't get a wink of sleep the 2 nights we stayed there. In the bathroom you had to step up 2 steps which were tiled into the shower so when they got wet it was really slippery and my partner did actually slip and luckily enough didn't bang his head or back. ||||Everything about this place is terrible. For the price we paid there are definitely better rooms in Chiang Mai. We booked here because the pictures were ok and there wasn't a lot of choice at the time due to the Loi Kathrong festival. ||||DO NOT STAY HERE, spend your money elsewhere. You have to rate at least 1 star but if I had the choice I would definitely give it a zero.

Stayed at the Hi-Center Place guesthouse during the Thai Songkran New Year for 5 days. The owners of this guesthouse treated me very well and the value was outstanding. My air conditioned room cost me just 500 baht a night. The place is clean, friendly, and the ownership speaks english as well. They have breakfast and various beverages available with a focus on organic/health. The location is very close to the old town square down a little soi, so convenient as well. Best value for money budget hotel in Chiangmai? With bathroom and TV, mosquito net and fan, central location and quiet are, all for 250bath. it must come a long way to win the title. Friendly management, and access to bike and motorbike rental at great prices sweetens up the deal

Cheap place just off of Loi Kroh Road Soi Lane 1 so the location is very good. Our bedding had burn holes in one of the blankets, in the bathroom there were screens on the windows below the sinks it's was open for all to see and the noise of the school behind this place was unbearable. The loud speaker was going at 630 in the morning and nonstop till around 5. The TV only had Thai TV, We changed hotels.
