Centre plein air Bec-Scie

We had such a wonderful, memorable experience! Even the weather couldn't ruin it) The nature was amazing, we were lucky to see black bears from the cabin, it was quite a wait, i guess they were not very interested in the treats due to the rain, but it was worth it! Then explored the lake on a kanoe, passed by beaver houses.. The staff were great! We are so grateful to our guide Monique who made our experience so authentic and special, she is so knowledgeable about Native traditions, nature, properties of different plants, she told us stories with a tambourine, brought us to the place where loon lives, we were the only humans in that area and it felt like a different world.

We went on a family hike along the river until the cabin "Le héron" and then came back via the yellow trail. The canyon and the nature are beautiful, well worth the entry price. The trail is well signposted and fairly easy, even for children.

We really enjoyed our visit. The guide, Monique, was excellent: friendly & informative. She told us fascinating facts about plant and herbal remedies. We spent a most enjoyable afternoon, walking and going canoeing on the lake. And then we saw a bear in its natural habitat!! Really worth the trip :)

Fantastic guide, spoke both english and french. The excursion lasted a few hours and allowed us to discover the canyon and the former dam. We then did a short kayaking experience and we spotted a black bear. I thank the guide who was kind enough to make us wait even though the excursion time had already passed.

Excellent place...the barage is mindblowing. U can have a picnic seating in the benches beside that point.

Beautiful forest trail, intermediate to advanced hikers. The trail by the river is way easier and just equally Beautiful. An experience so worth it. 2 to 3 hrs back and forth.
