Centrum Panzió, Kávézó és Reggeliző

I just had a pleasure of staying in this Panzio for a night. It was a most pleasant experience. Whole house, room and toilet were very clean and fully equipped. Very vide selection of additional services is available. And the owner is just a lovely person. Always happy, helpfull and it is so honest. Definitely place to come back to.

The hotel is very freshly renewed, so I am not sure that the old reviews are meaningful. In my view it is definitely worth more that what shows on trip advisor. We had a very pleasant stay: the room was very comfortable and the breakfast, although not massive, was more than we needed. Beautiful view on the Danube from the window, and very friendly staff: they even let us keep the car for the whole day after our stay in their private area for free. Great value for money!!!!

We stayed three nights in this cozy family run hotel. Peter at the front desk was very helpful and helped us with our bags up the one flight of stairs. The hotel is 250 years old and has been remodeled and brought up to 2013 standards. Clean, large rooms with a view of the Danube. The only suggestion I gave them was to add screens since you definitely want the windows open for a nice breeze and Danube view. It is a pleasant walk to the train for a dialy trip into Budapest. Quite easy to navigate. Breakfast was good. The town of Szentendre is cute and has lots of souvenirs and shops. Thankfully the hotel has free parking which was a definite plus. If I were visiting Budapest again I would definitely stay here and train in.

Noisy rooms, terrace at your bedroom window. Small bathroom, tiny sachet with soap for the shower Curtains don't keep the light out. Very friendly staff, parking in front of the hotel. Bed oké. Although the staff was very friendly I would not recommend the place

Enjoyed our stay at Hotel Centrum, made to order eggs for breakfast, and great view of Donau. Excellent place to start a bike ride or wander through town for shopping and eating.||||Tip: The GPS or Navigation system will not bring you to the front of the hotel so it's best when you get close to town to take the main road that runs along the river to the hotel. Follow the road along the river promenade and as you get close to hotel it will appear that it's only pedestrian zone but it's not, continue straight about 100 metres or so past some outdoor seating and restaurants and you will see the Hotel on the left, after checking in they will direct you to free parking next to the hotel. The GPS will try and bring you through the town and down one way streets, etc and it's confusing so that's why I added the tip of coming up the main road.

Walked in with my son after a long day cycling and after 2 places we passed were full. Owner made efforts to help called reservations made who didn't show and finally found us a room. |While a little gloomy on the outside the inside is very hospitable and rooms are large and comfortable. Location is as central as it gets.|The only two downsides would be the small bathrooms and the basic breakfast, but overall worth the price and we enjoyed our short night stay.|

We had lamps beside our beds but there were no plugs. When we asked for an extension lead we were given one which was far too short. At that point we gave up. So, what was the point of the lamps?||Fresh out of the shower, we discovered there was no hairdryer in the room .||At breakfast, my wife asked for a second cup of coffee, but was told she would have to pay for it. As I am not a coffee drinker the receptionist reluctantly relented and said that she could have my cup.

Spent 5 nights here and I had no complaints. Friendly welcome, nicely decorated, comfy bed, great location and very helpful pleasant staff. What more do you need ? The only thing I can think of that could be better was the breakfast. Not a big selection and a bit repetitive for 5 mornings, but it's optional and reasonably priced.
