Where to Stay in Tokyo When You Visit in 2025

"A few minutes' walk from several subway and train stations, this oasis has spacious rooms with tea kettles and coffee makers, bathrooms with luxury bath products, an in-house steak-focused eatery, and a spa that uses natural spring water." - Matthew Kepnes

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel’s location is excellent—just a short walk from the train station, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. However, the rooms are extremely small. I understand that many hotels in this area tend to be compact, but with four people in the room, it was very difficult to move around comfortably. The bathroom was especially tight, almost reminiscent of an airplane lavatory. While it’s a nice hotel overall, it may not be the most convenient option for families due to the limited space.

I stayed here for my entire trip in Japan. The room and bed is really comfy! The staffs were also very kind, and they got Ice cream and other vending machines which is very nice after roaming through the city. The location is also nice, easy access towards コンビニ and other local restaurants! would definitely go here again for my next trip to Japan. ありがとうじゃあまた :D

Really enjoyed everything about this accommodation, staff were very friendly and helpful room was fantastic and a ready supply of toiletries and towels. Should they be needed. On site spa was nice. Location was incredible for food and shopping, nice and close to public transport as well. My only negative would be no ability to plug in power supply near bed for use of tech .

Staying here was good. Though for its price, the value is not at par. Rooms are too small. No free water and for the housekeeping, you need to inform them if you would want to clean up your room. Otherwise, they will not clean it. The location is good though, very near to the train stations. There are a lot of bar in the area.

The room small but clean. I try the Japanese style room. The location very strategic.. only 6 minutes to station and 8 minutes to the park. Hotel surrounded with restaurants, family mart n shopping..Customer service very friendly. You should try the spa. The spa not too big but very clean. 1 Big hot tub n 1 small cold tub. The sauna room size Medium. 3 personal showers n 1 shower for handicapped.

pictures seems deceiving. rooms are quite small. looks very spacious but in reality very compact. smells cigarette. area around is run down. however location wise sits between jr line and metro. very easy to go to shopping areas like GU, Donki, Onitsuga Tiger, ueno park and all. location liked. service was good. helpful staff but place itself is ok. we spent more time outside than inside. liquor store next door helped too.

The location of the hotel is very close to the train stations, making it an easy spot to come from Narita airport. There is also a lot of shopping and food just outside of the hotel. The rooms were small but sufficient - it has everything you need and the size is expected for Tokyo. We were in the main building and while the bathroom has everything we need, the odor from the drains was a very strong egg-like / sulfur smell all day long. I would suggest keeping the sink and tub drain plugged to help with the smell a little bit. But because the room is small, it is hard to escape the bathroom smell. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly, and were very thorough when helping us arrange our luggage forwarding to the next destination. Any time we had a question, the staff were always happy to help!

The air conditioner is not working. The room was really hot. Staff tried to fix few times but it doesn't work. It's 2am, really exhausted. We request room change. Staff said completely full. No manager on duty. It's unacceptable. Disappointed.
