I stayed in Prague with my family for two weeks a while back. For the full two weeks our stay was top notch.
First of all, communication was friendly, simple, clear and fast. We noticed that the staff worked well as a team which made customer service flawless. They are committed and visibly aim to provide the best possible service in which they do not overdo it. For example, they are present when you have a question and at the same time are not in your face 24/7. This resulted in a relaxing stay. We knew exactly what to expect. Check-in didn't take long and before we knew it we were in our hotel room. Which brings me to the next point.
The room was beautiful. We enjoyed two wonderfully soft beds. Although the room was not very wide, it gave a spacious feeling because the ceiling was very high. In addition, they use calm and luxurious colors for the wallpaper, carpet and curtains. The bathroom had two different lights so you could go with sheet light and dimmed light. The shower was neat and clean and you could use two different shower heads with somewhat stronger and lesser water pressure.
Note that there is not a lot of storage space for clothes, which isn't really a problem if you are only staying for about 1 to 7 days (we were there for a remarkably long time).
Breakfast has a wide range of choices. I will name the, for me, most notable ones. Every morning you can order a freshly baked omelet or simple fried egg. In terms of bread, you have the basics: croissants and white or brown slices, as well as real quality bakery bread. There was a wide selection of cereal/granola and what I noticed was that you could also have chia seeds (I don't come across this often in hotels). There are options for vegans, vegetarians and even allergies are taken into account, but if there are questions about allergies I recommend contacting the hotel. Also during breakfast, there are constantly staff members around to clean up dirty dishes or answer questions, without really “bothering” you.
Oh and, quick in between: they have umbrellas in case it rains!
Finally, I have no major points to mention that were a little less. I really enjoyed the stay and am grateful for the experience. Staying at Mgallery in the Old Town Prague I definitely recommend!
