32 Best Things to Do in Lisbon, Portugal's Sun-Soaked Capital | Condé Nast Traveler

"In Chiado, this ceramics trove lets you browse a vast offering and pay by the kilogram—expect plates, bowls, and mugs that would cost double or triple back home." - Abigail Malbon

Google
I was impressed by the quality and range of ceramics. I chose four dinner plates which the assistant wrapped carefully for transport home by plane. Very good price. Great service. Thank you.

This is the shop to visit if you're looking for a great selection of ceramic dishes for your home. They also offer shipping to many countries.

Stunning pottery, great prices and they offer international shipping. I’m in love with my items 😍

My sister found this place for Portuguese tiles/ceramics. It happened to be right near our dinner spot one night so we stopped by before heading to the restaurant. I was expecting really over-priced items because everything looks high quality and pretty fancy but the prices were great! Of course, you have your higher end items but for the most party, everything was reasonably prices and very affordable. I ended up buying some small plates at €2 each. There's also a pretty large clearance section. Some items are chipped if you don't mind it, but there are some items that are discounted because I'm guessing they just can't move the inventory. I saw these dinner bowl plates that were also €2. I was sooo tempted to buy it just because it was so cheap, and it looked like really good quality. But alas, I didn't need anymore dinner plates in my house, and I didn't want to chance breaking it in my luggage for the flight home. I'm not even sure I would have had space in my luggage anyway. If you plan to visit Lisbon, make sure you leave plenty of luggage space, perhaps bring some bubble wrap because you're going to want to buy a lot of things from here.

Google
Ceramics are beautiful here but asking 1€ for bubble wrap and saying no to providing extra sheet of paper to wrap just bought ceramic is bizarre. Completely ruined the experience. I mean you sell easily breakable stuff and don’t provide free of charge packaging? That’s very cheap.

Google
Cute shop , some items are priced individually others are priced per weight. There is something for everyone’s budget. If you want to wrap your item with bubble wrap there is a minor extra charge (depends on how much you need).

Google
I was so amazed when I found this ceramics shop! The best one in entire town and instantly it was a must have! Shopping there was great and pretty cheap! Ceramics is really well protected during packing and there was no problem with travelling with it in a suitcase.

It's one of the best stores in town! The variety was amazing and the designs are uniquely beautiful! I will forever love my artichoke platter!

Yelp
I always tell my friends that my superpower of choice would be teleportation, and this is a prime example of how I would use my powers... Cerâmicas na Linha was widely recommended by acquaintances and influencers all over Tiktok but none of that prepared me for the overwhelming compulsion to buy everything minutes after stepping into the shop. Were it not for luggage restrictions, I would have definitely done a lot more damage here. While the store itself is not super large, it's easy to spend hours browsing as there are a multitude of items ranging from decorative centerpieces, ornamental trinkets to practical tableware as well as intricate Portuguese tiles. I was just in Japan marveling over all the ceramics that I wished I could bring home, but I have to say the Portuguese ceramic game is on a whole another level... the pieces are unique (no two pieces are identical), well-made and best of all, very economically priced. I ended up purchasing multiple pieces of tableware (plates and bowls) while my partner bought a large ornamental ceramic cat as a gift -- all for around 70 euros! Make sure to ask them for bubble wrap (priced at 1€ per square meter-- the ladies at the counter will tell you how much you need) to protect your pieces for the journey home. A must visit during your trip to Lisbon to stock up on the most unique of gifts and home tableware, but if you plan on visiting I would recommend bringing along an extra suitcase! :^)

Yelp
I thought this was a simple gift shop when I passed over the threshold but found that it no. This is tableware and mugs and crockery. And it's beautiful! Many of the pieces are sold by weight and some are by the piece. There are mugs, cups, saucers, plates, bowls and all sorts of other things to use in the kitchen and dining room. Once I figured out the system, I ended up with two absolutely beautiful white coffee mugs and a very pretty pink bowl. The young lady who rang up my sale wrapped them in paper and they survived the rest of the day in Lisbon and then the journey back to home. The bowl is on my desk. Yelp
Good selection and variety of ceramics at a great price. Saw tons of people buying full sets and packaging them to take back home. However, inspect pieces carefully- some pieces had some fault (ie: cups/mugs with sharp pieces of unglazed ceramic on the inside) I pointed this out to an employee and they moved it to the seconds shelf. Other small details like pinholes, chipped pieces on the bottom are sold at full price and not considered seconds because they're still food safe. Just a detail if you care about the quality/ detail of the pieces. Definitely would come back on the next trip!

Yelp
Picked up several unique and beautifully hand painted souvenirs which were carefully bubble wrapped and packaged so they made it back to San Diego in perfect condition. What a treat to be able to browse and enjoy this lovely boutique of ceramic goods.

Yelp
My friend and I were in this ceramics store on 10/29 and we both bought many beautiful items, including 2 framed sets of tiles, among many other items. We requested they be shipped to us to the U.S. and that shipping would take 2 weeks. We are still waiting to receive our many items. I emailed the store and was told the store was still waiting to receive the tile frames and they were expected to receive them this week. Hopefully we will receive our shipment very soon as the shipment includes many gifts for our families and friends.

Yelp
Buying ceramic by the pound? No, I mean kilo. But yes, that's the idea. Shelves hold pieces of pottery at different prices per kg, you pick what you like, and take it up to the register to be weighed up and rung up. There are some items that are sold by the piece as well. Pottery of different sizes, shapes, and colors: flower pots, baking dishes, bowls, mugs, jugs, plates, platters, tagines, tiles, vases, decorative pieces (such as little sardines that are perfect as souvenirs)... all in pleasing arrangement. Some pieces look distinctly Portuguese, some vaguely Japanese. There are also some less than perfect pieces in the corner at a ridiculous price. At this point, I have to thank my husband, the sole voice of sanity. If not for him, I probably would have bought so much stuff I won't be able to fit into my suitcase. Or if I could, the overweight surcharge would make not-so-great buys after all. Nonetheless, it's really worth going in to check this place out.

Yelp
We were suggested this place by a Conde Nast article and it did not disappoint! I was a little leery that it might have too high of prices, but there was a good variation of cheaper items to very pricy. They also have a section were you pay by weight, which was very nice. You're able to ship your items back home if you want to go a little crazy.
