"Seminario's Ceramic Studio When you’re considering Peruvian souvenirs, things like coffee, pisco, and alpaca scarves come to mind. But Peru is also known for ceramics, and you can find marvelous examples at Seminario’s. Its founders have taken motifs from Peru’s past and made them their own, offering ceramics that blend ancient and modern graphic designs. Buying a practical souvenir like a coffee mug ensures that your presents will be put to good use, while other more unique and purely artistic pieces can make you look at ceramics in a whole new way. Visits include a short video presentation on the studio’s history, a tour of the workshop and, sometimes, meeting the founders themselves. Warning: the on-site store will likely have you buying as much for yourself as others, but don’t worry—the workshop ships everywhere."
Wonderful creation and worldwide recognised peru artist legacy kept on here.
Wonderful visit seeing the process and then artefacts for sale

We had such a lovely time here. The owners were welcoming, engaging, and friendly and very talented. There was so much beautiful art to look at and purchase. The place itself is beautiful and peaceful. We attended a workshop where we were able to paint clay tiles, which was a lot of fun. I highly recommend a visit.

This was one of my favorite experiences in the urubamba area. We had our 4 year old daughter with us for a private class. The staff were really helpful and flexible with her. They patiently showed her the work spaces and how to paint her little tiles. She loved it and happily sat, adding color after color. I personally
Loved the smaller galleries and was able to talk to Semenario about his techniques, methods, and inspirations for his pieces for a good amount of time. It was a perfect family activity and I would readily do it again.

Nice to see some of the ceramic manufacturing, with the two founders around to talk. Liked the parrots and resident dogs walking around.

Amazing art. Fantastic people.
We did a ceramics class and it was a lot of fun. We got to talk to Pablo Seminario, his wife, Marilu, and their son. They were fabulous people and gave us great insight into their creative process.
They also gave us some good recommendations for places to eat and visit in Urubamba and the surrounding area.

If you have any time in Urubamba, then visit this place. Incredible ceramics, a wonderful collection of ancient pieces, and the work of a world renowned artist. We even got to meet him and chat for a few minutes! A hidden gem in Urubamba. (You will also find perhaps the most beautiful washrooms in all or Peru)
