Cerretani Hotel exceeded every expectation, and a huge part of that was thanks to Alberto at reception. From the moment we arrived, he made everything feel effortless and genuinely welcoming. His warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail set the tone for our entire stay. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of Florence and just steps away from the city’s most famous landmarks. The Duomo, shops, restaurants, and historic streets are all within easy walking distance, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city while still enjoying a peaceful and elegant retreat. Alberto went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. He organised valet services seamlessly, removing any stress from arriving in the city, and always greeted us with a smile and genuine care. I even had a parcel delivered to the hotel before I arrived, and upon check-in it was brought straight to me without me having to ask—such a thoughtful and professional touch. We stayed in 11 different hotels in Europe over the course of three weeks, and Cerretani was our favourite. The room was exceptionally spacious, beautifully appointed, and felt like a true sanctuary after long days of exploring. The hotel itself is beautiful and refined, but it’s the people who make a place truly memorable—and Alberto absolutely did. Thanks to him, our stay felt personal, relaxed, and special. We will definitely return, and Cerretani will always be associated with this wonderful experience.

This small hotel is located close to everything you want to see in Florence. You can arrive from airport by tram and then 5 min walk. You have also 10 min walk to Duomo and to everything you have on your list for Florence. The hotel building is very nice , rooms well designed with all services you need. Good breakfast and a very nice small bar where you can stop and drink something after a long day in town. Stop by end enjoy the Italian vibe.

A short 8-minute walk from Frienze station. The hotel is surrounded by many cafes and small shops. Taking the train to the main tourist attraction is a breeze. Breakfast is not the best, but decent to have to kick-start the day. Security is tight as card access is required to enter the hotel vicinity. Rooms are decently sized and clean. The bed is comfortable except that I find the pillow a little too soft and flat for my liking.

When we originally checked in we were given a room in what appeared to be an annex. The view was of the alley behind the hotel. When we called the desk about it, the gentleman on duty said that all the rooms were like that and that we had been upgraded (not true). Having been traveling the entire day, we just gave up and spent the night. The next morning we spoke with Steffania, who was happy to help us a switched us to a wonderful room. After that, everything was exceptional. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful, what you expect when you stay at a hotel of this quality. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was wonderful especially Rebecca, Andrea and Simona.

We loved the location of this gem of a hotel! At first we thought, as busy as it was situated at the corner where our driver could not really park in front of the hotel, it turned out okay. He was able to stay a few minutes a few steps to the side to unload (or load) our luggage and hotel staff were pretty quick about helping to bring our luggage inside. Located where there were many, many shops, restaurants and where the Duomo and the San Lorenzo market were just around the corner, we were in 7th heaven. Alessandro at the Front Desk was very personable, welcoming and ready to assist us and right away came out to help us when we arrived. Tawfiq, a little short in his manner with us but not so bad in the end, tended to argue with guests (as I observed with another guest he was talking to). Alain was also quite helpful. We really enjoyed the delicious welcome snacks and detox water always available in the lobby. Andreea at breakfast was such a pleasant and hospitable and attentive waitress ~ with a ready smile and querying us about what we needed or wanted. Actually, the rest of the wait staff were very good. The breakfast offerings were qutie sufficient and tasted good. Our Junior King Suite was spacious and we loved our bathroom, the bathroom mirror and the toiletries!!! We had comfortable beds, a couch turned 3rd bed with lots of space, and the premises: the public areas and our rooms were very clean. The elevator was slow, as other reviews noted but in Europe, elevators are usually slow and tight. No big deal. Altogether, I'd say we had a happy stay @Cerretani!

Phenomenal experience. Staff were professional, very polite and extremely helpful. Room was quiet, spacious - the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious as well. Centralized location made a walkable city that much more enjoyable.

Incredible location! The rooms are so beautiful and comfortable and the staff are so friendly. Breakfast was lovely as well. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

From the well-maintained room, delicious breakfast and welcoming staff, our stay was most enjoyable. We enjoyed the opportunity to have tea or coffee in the afternoon or a drink at the bar in the evening. The location of the hotel is excellent.
