Cerretani Hotel Firenze - MGallery Collection

We loved the location of this gem of a hotel! At first we thought, as busy as it was situated at the corner where our driver could not really park in front of the hotel, it turned out okay. He was able to stay a few minutes a few steps to the side to unload (or load) our luggage and hotel staff were pretty quick about helping to bring our luggage inside. Located where there were many, many shops, restaurants and where the Duomo and the San Lorenzo market were just around the corner, we were in 7th heaven. Alessandro at the Front Desk was very personable, welcoming and ready to assist us and right away came out to help us when we arrived. Tawfiq, a little short in his manner with us but not so bad in the end, tended to argue with guests (as I observed with another guest he was talking to). Alain was also quite helpful. We really enjoyed the delicious welcome snacks and detox water always available in the lobby. Andreea at breakfast was such a pleasant and hospitable and attentive waitress ~ with a ready smile and querying us about what we needed or wanted. Actually, the rest of the wait staff were very good. The breakfast offerings were qutie sufficient and tasted good. Our Junior King Suite was spacious and we loved our bathroom, the bathroom mirror and the toiletries!!! We had comfortable beds, a couch turned 3rd bed with lots of space, and the premises: the public areas and our rooms were very clean. The elevator was slow, as other reviews noted but in Europe, elevators are usually slow and tight. No big deal. Altogether, I'd say we had a happy stay @Cerretani!

The hotel is well located 5 min walk from the Santa Maria novelle train station and near to many nice hotel And restaurants. Nice shopping area.short walking distance to all places of interest duomo Florence , academia and etc . The service is excellence and very comfortable bed and nice rooms (thanks to Stephanie and Alessandro Buffet breakfast is yummy and awesome ! All is great

We recently spent a few wonderful days at Cerretani Hotel, and it exceeded all our expectations. Our room was very spacious, offering plenty of space to relax and unwind. And speaking of relaxation, the bedsheets were incredibly comfy - easily among the best we've ever experienced at a hotel. We slept like a dream!The breakfast was great, with a fantastic selection to start our days right. The hotel's location is also excellent, making it easy to explore the area. And the service at the hotel was top notch! Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and truly enjoyable experience.

Another excellent extra long week-end in Florence. Such a great central location within 5 to 25 minutes walking distance of most of the popular (and some less well known) attractions, restaurants, and also the tram stop from the airport - quicker than the taxi! As well as the breakfast, the afternoon tea is such a good idea, and each day we looked forward to returning for an Aperol spritz in the bar from 4:30 pm onwards.

Wonderful hotel in Firenze. We had the most pleasant stay. I thought the bed was especially comfortable - it is down doona and pillows. The room was very clean and housekeeping did a wonderful job. Location is central. I like that they keep the front door locked for extra safety. Front desk was also kind and helpful with all our request.

Great hotel in the heart of Florence. It has a modern style decoration. It is good if you don’t enjoy very romantic and traditional decoration which is very common in Florence hotels. Bathrooms are particularly spacious. Super clean, staff is very helpful. There is valet parking (before 00:00). Very secure, locks the doors in the night and during the day entrance is via room key. Some rooms might be dark, breakfast is good enough but has the same options everyday. There is no room service or any food available after mignight, plan ahead.

Overall really good experience. Very helpful front desk staff. We arrived early and were allowed to drop off our luggage while we toured the city. Very close to major local attractions and food!

I’ll make it simple, I’ve been to Florence a few times. I prefer Hotel Spadai. They are both the same category hotel. Hotel Spadai are more accommodating and everything else that came with the hotel is much better. Cleanliness, odor in the lobby at this hotel was bad, you can’t even enter the hotel when checking in unless someone is at the door and they are not there at all times.
