Great prices, great food, awesome staff, great vibe, excellent location.

So disappointed with the terrible attitude of one of the servers here. Really horrible woman. We had a table and were meeting a friend, but wanted to use the bathroom before sitting. The woman working started to shout at us that we couldnt go, despite us saying we were customers. She was really rude. So, we left instead of staying and spending our evening there. I wouldn’t waste your money here, much nicer places with better servers in the area.

Amazing place. Good price for location. Loved the food here really enjoyed ourself here. Friendly staff had a great time and laugh!

My wife and I really enjoyed the fresh drinks and delicious tapas, everything was full of flavor. Our waiter (leonardo) was very polite and his recommendations were absolutely spot on. Overall, we left very satisfied.

Our final evening in Barcelona. Enjoying a delicious meal at Cerveseria Universitat, a lovely restaurant at a minutes walk from our apartment. Enjoyed the Spanish delicacies (Paella, Calamari) and great ambiance 🤗 Service was excellent 👍🏼

Nice place with a good vibe and reasonable prices. The atmosphere was enjoyable. The staff could’ve been a bit more friendly, but overall it wasn’t a bad experience.

I missed my flight and was „stuck“ in Barcelona for a week. On my first day I didn’t had any plans and it was raining. I was just walking past the Cerveseria Universitat and one of the waiters asked me really kindly if he could help me. He recommended me something vegetarian because I asked for it and so I sat down and stayed for two hours in the end. Got a good cappuccino and tasty Tortilla de patatas. I started talking to the waiter, jordi, and he gave me a list of a few places where I could go on a rainy day. The prices are alright compared to Germany. I came back there two more times, it’s a nice place to stay when it’s pouring it down as well as when the sun is shining. I kinda fell in love.

My wife and I stopped here for a light snack while travelling through Barcelona. We chose a seafood paella to share followed by cappuccino coffee. The waitress that served us was very friendly and we didn’t have to wait long for our meal (it tasted nice and was not overly expensive). I would return to eat here again. Please note that like so many eateries in Europe, smoking is allowed at this establishment. We are from Australia where smoking in restaurants is no longer allowed. If you find it uncomfortable dining in such an environment this establishment may not be for you.

Great beer and tapas in a great location by the univ of barcelona!!! A refreshing break during a hit afternoon!!!

Prices were good here and it is centrally located. We had me Mexican paella and flatbread with ham, mushroom and mozzarella. I did not care for the Mexican Paella. It was just not tasteful for me at all. The flatbread was just okay. I have had better but due to the time and two really tired people it was good.

Place was awesome. Good location, good food, very reasonable prices. Tapas may not be the most authentic, but with a name like that, you know what you're paying for: drunk college kid food. Must have stumbled there during happy hour because I paid about 5€ less than what I should have for a dish, tapas, and a large beer. Plenty of outdoor seating, friendly and funny staff, easy to access for gringos who don't speak a lick of Spanish.

My three star review is mainly for the drinks and the atmosphere here. It seems like a very happening place and the prices are pretty good here. The food not so good but plenty of vegetarian options to eat from. I suppose when you are hungry crappy food is better than no food. It is located in a pretty good place and the servers there like many are futbol crazy.

Right in the center of the college area and this bar/restaurant is where it's at. Great drinks and tapas at great prices. We had the seafood paella and it was pretty good. The gin and tonic comes with mostly gin and a little bottle of tonic on the side :)
