15 Best Places to Travel in February

"A major ski area on the slopes of Monte Cervino (the Matterhorn) where skiers can race down dozens of runs and take advantage of a cross-border connection with Zermatt on the Swiss side; the broader region also offers guided snowshoe tours, ice climbing, and nearby castles to visit." - Patricia Doherty Patricia Doherty Patricia Doherty is a writer who specializes in covering destinations, resorts, and cruises for Travel + Leisure and other publications. Google
one of the best ski resorts in Europe. Thanks to the glacier and the high altitude - above 3500m - there will always be snow and skiing conditions. And the incredible beauty of the landscapes.

The best landscape ever: the Matterhorn is superbe, Les Grand Murailles are impressive, on the Plateau Rosa glacier you feel like touching the sky.

Perfect ski resort. Very recomemded especialy for beginners. The town itself is small and very nice, but not a real apre ski atmosphere. I advise to find a place to stay close to the Cretaz lift.

This is my 3rd trip to ski Cervinia. First time I actually stayed 7 days in town. I had a group of 8 people and we all agreed we would definitely go back. The town was easy to get around. Had plenty to do before and after skiing. The people were very friendly. The food was fantastic. The hotel was fantastic! The skiing and weather was second to none. Definitely plan on returning. A+ all the way around...

Nice ski resort with great views especially the Matterhorn. Was very warm beginning of April so the snow became very wet and heavy early afternoon but this was to be expected for the time of year. Great skiing for beginners and intermediates. Some flat and uphill sections would benefit from a magic carpet or rope pull

The location of this station is extraordinary, it is privileged and it looks like affordable (61 Euros on the Italian side) but the problem starts when you have to pull your ski sticks (poor snowboarders really) on the way too many flat slopes. And that is not the worse. Then you go to try to get to the Zermatt just to realize they are two separated stations and nobody told you about it. The extra price is 52 CH which I refused to pay so I cannot tell you about the Swiss part. Not many restaurants but at least good food and prices (again on the Italian side) Other than that, it’s ok.

Small friendly resort connected to much bigger Zermatt. Great restaurants in the piste and plenty of reasonably priced wine.
