What a wonderful experience to visit in Czech Republic. I was taken here during a recreational visit on a bussiness trip. The town itself is a fairy tail and walking in this castle truly makes you feel in a different time. Worth the visit comolpletly.

We went on a guided day excursion from Prague to Cesky Krumlov. It was an amazing day! (We used Get Your Guide tours). Such a beautiful town with gorgeous views, lovely streets to meander, and restaurants and shops to enjoy. This is a must if you can take a day out of Prague or Vienna.

Perfect viewpoint overlooking the towns old center. Not a very hard climb (150+ steps) so worth it. It wasn’t very busy so you can check out the panoramic view without the crowds. (In august) you will pay for a ticket though, but you also get to visit a museum.

Český Krumlov Castle is an impressive landmark with stunning architecture and panoramic views of the old town. The guided tour inside gives great insight into its royal history and lavish interiors. It’s best to buy tickets in advance, especially during peak season, to avoid long lines.

Stunning tower located within the Castle area. The views of the city are just breathtaking. It is 162 steps to the top. The walk was not bad at all, but it does get narrow at the top. Few spots to stop along the way and see some of the exhibits. One bell in the tower is from 1406. Amazing. There is also a cool Dungeon established by the Lords of Krumlov. Loved the visit and the views. Requires a ticket to be purchased but that ticket includes the entire castle complex.

The tour I joined was too big. There was more than 30 people with only one guide. So I couldn’t engage enough with the information from the guide. The place is beautiful but the rooms we were allowed to go in as a part of the tour was fewer than I expected. The guide was friendly and enthusiastic tho, I could see he tried his best. But the group was just too big.

What a great place to visit. To avoid all massive crowds I would go as early as possible 9am. Walk up the stairs and go all the way down the hallway past the cafe to buy your tickets 👍The views from the top are just so magical. There was fog this early morning ♥️

Český Krumlov is a fairytale town – full of charm, history and stunning views. The castle and its gardens are a must, the old streets are magical, and the atmosphere along the Vltava River is unforgettable. A place you definitely shouldn’t miss when visiting the Czech Republic!
