If you want to eat local, this is the place for you. We went in the evening and the place completely empty, except for the staff. They did not give us a warm welcome at all (so the reviews about this are true unfortunately). You can choose from the food at the counter at very affordable prices. The food was good, but not delicious. Its ok if you are not extremely hungry.

Canakkale reminds me a lot of Jogja, it’s a student town with a lot of cheap local foods and restaurant and Cevahir is that type of restaurant. It’s local homemade food with low prices and good quality. Love the food selections here! Lokantasi is always my go to if I want to eat healthy. I finished almost everything on my plates 😂

Local home food restaurant with low prices in Çanakkale. An average full meal costs max. 25 TL. And the food is delicious. A lot of meal options available! The restaurant is in historic building in city center. It is always my first choice whenever I visit Çanakkale.

The food was good but not very suited for a low fat diet, the workers didn't look like they wanted to be there and the decorations were nice.

Best price to value. Taste is not the best but quite reasonable home style cooked food.
