Ceviche - Taste of Peru

This is currently my favorite restaurant in Gothenburg. The food is amazingly delicious, for me as a latina, I can say it tastes like home. The staff is really friendly as well!

If you want to travel to Peru without living Göteborg this is the place. I am always so happy to eat a ceviche that reminds me of my wonderful journey in Peru. Plus the price is nice for everything you get (side salad, bread, coffee...).

Ceviche dish is a must try! Simple dish with fish, salt, pepper and lime juice but tastes very fresh 😋 Good lunch place!

I had big expectations about this place when I read the reviews. More good reviews than negative. My review will be listed on the negatives based on my personal experience. Unfortunately, it was not good considering it was my birthday and I wanted to celebrate with my loved ones there. First. We arrived at the restaurant at about 6 pm. The place wasn't busy, one big table with 6 or 8 people. They were already served and ongoing with more dishes. We stood beside the counter to make sure the staff can see us. They did. Nothing happens. They kept looking at us with indifference. I dare to pass to the counter limits and EXPLAIN we have reservations and we want to dine in the restaurant. The staff just told us seat whenever we want. No one welcome us, accompanied us to the table, or at least ask what we want to drink. The waitress never shows on our table, even if we were seating beside the other busy table, the waitress didn't bother to take few steps to look for us. You can see from the picture. We were seated for long waiting for services. I had to go to myself to get the cutlery, and the drinks and order the meals at the counter. This place was lack of atmosphere and spirit. I don't remember if there was music at all in the evening, on Friday. So sad. It is not strange why it was so dead on weekend. I have been to several times in other Peruvian restaurants and they were so fun and sweet in hosting their customers. I do recommend the front door staff should be more trained on hostelry. I have to say the food tasted nice. We had Lomo Saltado and Ceviche. But for the main dish, it was small. I ordered ceviche salmon and shrimp. In the pictures, you will find it difficult to spot salmon. The price of 179 Kr is priced because of salmon. But almost not visible on the plate. I don't think I will dine back with them. Seems like they are not looking for new customers. They are happy with the usual.

The food was very good for the price. I would prefer a take way however as the location is not so cozy. We got the cow heart and the fish cocktail which was very tasty. The personal were very friendly

Good place to taste the Peruvian food and drinks. The place is located in 10-12 minutes by train from the central part of Gothenburg. The food (Ceviche Nikkei) was very tasty and fresh. I enjoyed it so much. The drink called Pisco sour has a specific taste, medium strong and neither sour nor sweet. I liked the drink too. It was very different. Be careful before drinking too much, it makes you feel dizzy after a while. I also tasted the Peruvian beer called CUSQUEÑA MALTA, which was very light and tasty. The service was good, but the food serving takes a bit much time than expected. The waiter is very kind and friendly. It would be nice to have the orders faster both drinks and the food. The atmosphere is good. If you are sitting in the balcony, you might enjoy a good weather together with Peruvian food and drinks.

It’s a great pleasure to eat a nice Peruvian ceviche here. Service was really good and the location is quite nice and central!

Unconsistant flavors claimed to be Peruvian. Nice waiters but HORRIBLE attitude from family/owners. Cashier family member of owners doesn't know about how to communicate to people. Don't rush to eat here as owner said she has enough with her current clientele. Plus they preach about restaurant business is about measuring portions. Oh well we saw how they prepare our chicken with the hands (no sure how they measure). As a note the restaurant aside beautiful lady owner running around trying to smile at each of her customers.
