Absolutely amazing authentic ceviche with a wonderful staff to make it even more authentic and welcoming. We had the mixed ceviche and the tuna ceviche and loved them both! The seafood was extremely fresh - perfect for a day in Berlin. Only sticking point was the slightly expensive price which makes it "occasion food" rather than a quick bite. But at that quality, I would definitely come again !

Cevicheria in Berlin is a standout dining destination for anyone craving authentic Peruvian cuisine in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. This charming restaurant brings the rich flavors of Peru to the heart of Berlin, offering a delightful culinary experience that is both flavorful and memorable. The menu at Cevicheria showcases a variety of traditional Peruvian dishes, with a particular focus on ceviche, which is prepared with the freshest ingredients and expertly balanced flavors. Each dish is a testament to the skill and passion that goes into creating Peruvian cuisine. The ceviche, in particular, is a highlight, featuring perfectly marinated fish with a zesty, tangy kick that captures the essence of Peru’s culinary heritage. In addition to the exceptional food, Cevicheria boasts a fantastic selection of drinks. From refreshing pisco cocktails to expertly crafted mocktails, the beverage menu complements the food perfectly and adds to the overall dining experience. What truly elevates the visit to Cevicheria is the service. The staff are not only attentive and friendly but also genuinely passionate about the food they serve. A special mention goes to "Valery," a great waiter from Peru who adds a personal touch to the experience. Valery’s warmth, knowledge, and enthusiasm make every meal at Cevicheria feel special. His recommendations and genuine care enhance the dining experience, making guests feel right at home. Overall, Cevicheria is a must-visit for anyone in Berlin looking to indulge in delicious Peruvian cuisine. With its great food, excellent drinks, and outstanding service, it promises a dining experience that is both enjoyable and authentic.

I’ve been a regular customer here and usually had good experiences. However, on my last visit, I was served a tuna ceviche that seemed noticeably off. I began feeling discomfort within a few hours, and the aftertaste lingered well into the night. The texture and smell of the fish were not consistent with previous visits, and I noticed a white film on the surface of the fish while eating. At the time, I gave the benefit of the doubt and assumed I might be exaggerating—but the physical reaction I had afterward made it clear something was wrong. For comparison, I had a similar dish the day before at another cevichería and had no issues at all—strong flavors, clean digestion, no aftertaste—which made the difference in quality quite clear. Whether it was a one-off mistake or a storage issue, I hope this is taken seriously. I’m sharing this in good faith because I’ve valued the place in the past and want to see its standards remain high. (This review was updated to use a more objective, less emotional language, since I was quite affected at the time when I wrote it. The content and intent are the same and I also removed mentioning the competition for fairness' sake)

Google
Full latino experience!! The place is really small, informal, loud music and noise.. so not recommended for a date or a quite night..but if you are looking for drinks and fresh bites these might be perfect! Basic menu, all about fish and ceviches of course…but fresh ingredients and traditional flavours..a bit expensive in my opinion (20euros ceviche) considering what i said about the place…

Yelp
Simply terrible. The ceviche is far from a good Peruvian ceviche, the service is far below any acceptable standard and the Pisco sour is simply ok. On top of it, don't be surprised if they forget about your order and then after they realized the mistake they will simply apologize and let you know they can't do anything... "time to close is fast approaching". Came here cause it was highly rated.... first time I'm negatively surprised with the Yelp high rating.

Yelp
I love Ceviche and the Cevicheria is a great place for it. A creative menu, beautiful setting, and an explosion of colors, flavors and creativity on a plate. Friendly and warm staff. Their Pisco Sour is creamy and delicious and the Chilcano is refreshing and yummy. The citric-"cooked" fish balanced and complemented with the creamy sweet potato gets me every time :) I took one star away because the desert menu is precarious and quality is disappointing, ruining a lovely experience. Also I think they are a tiny bit heavy on the acidity and can tone it down for that perfect balance. I have tried almost all on the menu, more often than not I was very pleased. I totally recommend it.

Yelp
If you like spicy food, this is your place! The fish ceviche was tasty and appropriate for a summer afternoon. The pineapple piscohito was very refreshing. I had no idea about Peruvian food but now I know more :) the service is very friendly too.

Yelp
This is a great place, the restaurant in itself is super cute and the service was great. I took some potatoes (which is normally a starter) and a mixed ceviche. My mom took something made of avocado, fish, tomatoes and breadcrumbs (I can't remember the name unfortunately). She was quite afraid in the first place because as she says, ceviche can be awesome, but if the fish is not super fresh, it can also be awful. Happily, in Cevicheria the menu is quite small and the place seems to be always full so the fish was extra fresh. Our both food were great, I especially liked the potatoes and I'd love to go back there someday.

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick weekday late lunch and sat at an outdoor table. We were the only people at the restaurant, so the service was great. :) I had the leche de tigre ceviche and it was excellent. It was spicy, flavorful and the fish and seafood seemed like great quality. The price point was just right too.

Yelp
Had a great experience. My mix ceviche (fish and seafood) was delicious and fresh. The service was perfect, and is fairly cheap. I'll come back for sure.

Yelp
Had the marinated tuna with chimichurri and potatoes it was delicious! Although I felt it was a pretty small portion nonetheless it was very tasty. Also had a taste of my friends fish ceviche which was also very nice! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

Yelp
I'm afraid to say that La Cevichería didn't meet the high expectations I had about it. The staff was really friendly but it really took them ages (no less than 45 minutes) to get the two starters served, even though the place was nearly empty at that moment. The main dishes also came after quite a long wait. The starter I ordered was supposed to be scallops ('jakobmuscheln') but I got mussels instead. They were nicely prepared but it wasn't what I ordered. The grilled octopus was really great, though. The ceviche I chose (tuna) was way too sour.

Yelp
Very very tasty starter mussels with fresh spices. Very tasty and fresh main course as well. Very fresh interior design. First time in my life eating a cuisine from Peru, I'm not experienced to judge it. But it was so tasty. I can't wait to return to this place and bring my friends or family with.

Yelp
We arrived at 8pm on a Friday night with no reservation but the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. They gave us a table on the proviso that we'd be out by half past nine, and let us mix and match starters and mains to create the perfect meal. The waiter recommended a lovely wine to us. The food itself was very tasty; zingy, herby and with just a hint of spice. I'm a huge carboholic but didn't even notice that the meal lacked carbs. The dessert was fantastic, too; dulce de leche with soft meringue and port wine, I believe. We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
The food is nice, but I had better ceviche.... there was one thing that left me speechless tho .... the waitress was extremely unfriendly, she actually gave us the feeling to be annoyed by our presence. We were placed in the last angle of the restaurant and had to beg to order food. Won't come back, that's for sure!
