I stayed at Ceybank Rest and enjoyed the elegant and unassuming atmosphere, which was even more pleasant by lacking the hordes of flip-flop noisy tourists. The room was very spacious and charming, staff very corteous and helpful, and the breakfast was good and well-served in the nice restaurant. The location was also very convenient. This is a place for those in search of a "natural" colonial atmosphere and not for those is search of brand-new shiny floors, flat-screen tv, newly painted walls and a swimming-pool. A place to go for those capable of appreciate it.

We stayed at the bungalow during the off peaks season in Nuwaareliya. There was not much guests but place was maintained well. They have beautiful garden with filled with roses and during the peak season it may look better. Food was yummy but morning buffet did not have much options. However, the overall experience worth the money. Rooms are spacious, clean but need a little bit of an upgrade. Staff is good and friendly Highly recommend this-place in comparison to the other places in Nuwaraeliya.

I stayed there two times. Nice and clean rooms. Nice colonial style bungalow. Adequate vehicle parking spaces. Garden is beautiful and they maintain it nicely. Food is good and seems to be devoid of any artificial additives. Price also reasonable. Walking distance to Gregory lake and park.

Beautiful British era Building with colonial architectural features. Very nice place. It has a large garden. Very beautiful & nice place to hangout. Rooms are nice but bathroom only has hit water showers. Ni bathtubs. Otherwise everything is nice. Currently closed for renovations. But it will open soon with lot more modern features.

A nice looking place with good food. Service is also good and the staff is friendly and efficient. The location is very convenient as it is located just in front of race course ground rear entrance so it is like walking distance to anywhere in the city. More than enough parking is available. The only issue is room rates are too high for the level of comfort and bathroom quality.

Old colonial hotel, rooms are huge with 4 poster beds in some rooms. Bathrooms need upgrading but work fine with plenty if hot water. The bar is cozy place for a few drinks before dinner. Resturant a bit gloomy and could getting rid of the red table cloth style. Nice old picture and painting on the walls. Breakfast was good

This beautiful hotel facing to the equestrian course is very close to the Victoria Park. The Hotel is well kept in it’s original style and every corner you would feel the colonial style. They have a splendid collection of roses in the front garden where you can spend your spare time evening. I loved this hotel mainly because of it’s beauty more than the services they provide. The bartender was a nice guy who serves classic cocktails. The food was also delicious even though the price tag was little bit high comparing the other hotels in that area. Highly recommended.

The property is located right opposite the Gregory Lake with a huge and well-kept garden in front of the hotel. The atmosphere is very calm, quiet and the building itself is a colonial mansion. The prices of the foods was quite reasonable but selection was minimal. Average customer service was experienced.
