Ceylon Chef Restaurant

I tried this restaurant with my mother, she is from Sri Lanka and I’ve been eaten this kind of food just with her but here, in three days, I came back two times!! I love these spicy foods, I love that everyone was similing at me and the price is so so very low!! If you love these kind of food you must try it

We tried the food at Ceylon Chef and had a truly authentic, very good experience. We ordered the rice and curry, which was absolutely delicious and served with red rice—full of flavour and really satisfying. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. We paid €15 for two portions of the vegetable rice and curry plus a bottle of water, which is amazing value for the quality. Highly recommend!

Absolutely delighted with our experience at Ceylon Chef Restaurant in Rome! The string hoppers were authentic and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the rich curries and sambols. The staff was welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The cozy ambiance added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. It’s wonderful to find such genuine Sri Lankan cuisine in the heart of Rome. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a taste of Sri Lanka abroad!

We went to Ceylon Chef with our Sri Lankan parents. The food was delicious and tasted fully authentic as in Sri Lanka! We had Indiappam, Chicken and Tuna Curry, fish and vegetable rolls, egg rotti, dose, wattalappam. The restaurant owner and his staff was absolutely friendly, we event took food to our holiday flat for the next day. The price was very reasonable especially for this quality!! The toilets were clean, the restaurant itself could use a little touch up, for example the tables and chairs were very old. But we would defintely come back as the food was superb!! Thank you!

Very authentic Sri Lankan food and very affordable. Large portions which can be shared between 2 people. Felt like I was back at my family’s house back home.

Nice little restaurant with delicious Sri Lankan dishes. We tried the devilled pork and the seafood fried rice. Was very good. Has the authentic Sri Lankan taste. Their portions are large and can be easily shared with 2 people. They have a variety of dishes that can be chosen for the rice and curry as well. Would recommend this place if you are in Rome and craving for Sri Lankan food.

Good home-type buffet, good restaurant. I tried prawn and chicken fried rice and kottu Chicken, and they were great. The fried rice was better. Welcoming staff. They also have buffet plates with rice, curry, and stuff.Just ask, and they will help.
